I updated the viewer and when I click to open up my firefox I get this message: Firefox is already running but is not responding. The old Firefox processmust be closed to open in new window. I click close over and over and nothing happens.

There are some websites that modifying the history and when I wish to go back, I am being taken back directly to home page, or worse in some others, being looped back into the current url again.

In the second one, I know the website adding a duplicate url to the history so if I right click and select the 3rd one I can get out of the loop but it's just rather quite annoying.

Is it possible to prevent these websites meddling with my browsing history? (without disabling the javascript)

I would like you to solve the problem of firefox not being able to connect to the internet.

I cannot connect to the internet with firefox. The following screen appears. (cap1)

I am using piavpn and cannot connect even after turning it off. However, I am not using it in such a way as to overload the network.

authentication required window popups. And do not close with "cancel" or Esq.

The story: I've used proxy but subscription expired, so i do not have working credentials, but I cant change settings cause "authentication required" - blocks everything . how the fuck i turn it off?! options\settings is fucking locked by this pop up.

so for bad english... but have no other words for "this design" to lock everything after proxy pop up.

Recently, whenever I try to login to a website, firefox is suggesting an email that has never been used on this device/account and I don't even know who's email it is. How do I clear this from the memory as it is quite inconvenient.

In sites such as Instagram and LinkedIn (these were the ones I noticed this happening), after I close an overlay containing a post and its comments by clicking outside of it, it starts selecting everything, as if I'm holding the mouse button. Clicking again stops selecting. And as fas as I know, this is only in Firefox (doesn't happen in Chrome nor Edge).

I've tried disabling all extensions, and it still happens.

Don't work if you want Firebug to stop truncating Objects and Arrays to only 3 items, you can set extensions.firebug.ObjectShortIteratorMax to a high number. (0 or -1 don't work for this setting)

When I open the firefox browser first time, I am getting following error message in console:

Working to Patch Mozilla in tenable using Altiris packages. Althought the package is installed the plugin 40362 does not update from version to version of Mozilla.

Has anyone found a fix to patching Mozilla and Tenable reporting?

Is there a process to it?

And it's not Bing Crosby either -- I did the steps to remove Bing as search engine, yet when I open Firefox, Bing comes up, not on my other browsers. I did a search in my registry and there are numerous places where Bing is embedded. I don't know if I should delete them, because it might mess up my computer. Need help.

I'm trying to sign in to firefox on my laptop, it says it needs to send a confirmation email, and it NEVER SENDS. I have my email right, I have my password right, I have your email in my contacts like it said to, I've clicked resend multiple times and have been waiting for OVER AN HOUR and the email has not arrived.

I have restored my Windows 10 Home (64), deleting all previous installed apps during the process. Hereafter Firefox and Thunderbird are downloaded and installed.

I did not find the 2 Apps in the usual program folder, and they do not appear in START->ALL APPS.

Searching my computer, I found Firefox and Thunderbird in these locations: Firefox: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Mozilla.Firefox_121.0.1.0_x64__n80bbvh6b1yt2\VFS\ProgramFiles\Firefox Package Root Thunderbird: "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MozillaThunderbird.MZLA_115.6.0.0_x64__h5892qc0xkpca\VFS\ProgramFiles\MZLA Package Root\thunderbird.exe"

My question: is this the usual place or have I mixed things up during installation ?

When I change the file download location using the Browse button, the location shows the change but if I quit Firefox and next time I try to downlaod a file the location reverts back to the original location. Please help. Thank you.
