Hi, I am using the newest Mac Air 15" with M3 chip, with the latest version of firefox (123.0.1) I have found an issue where when I put YouTube videos in fullscreen mode, the dock will not disappear like it normally would. The only workaround I've found is to put firefox in actual fullscreen mode (which then makes the dock disappear entirely), but I would prefer not to do as I typically maximize my screen instead. I'm assuming this is a bug on firefox specifically as fullscreen mode for videos/other things works normally in Chrome and Safari (which I also maximize screen), with the dock disappearing as it should.

I don't know if anyone else has encountered this issue though (as everything works fine on my older Mac...) Hopefully this can be resolved soon? I hope this makes sense :")

I have had this problem for a while. I am not sure what to do so that I can fix this. Whenever I open a pdf or any application that can be opened in the browsers shows me two options for firefox browser. I attached a picture that will make it obvious what the problem is.

Suddenly I can no long click through from bbc.co.uk/iplayer to bbc.co.uk/iplayer/sounds. I get a screen with: The page isn’t redirecting properly. An error occurred during a connection to www.bbc.co.uk. I have tried closing the iplayer window, restarting my MacBook Air, and reopening.

Recently (in the last 2 weeks or so) when I go to the Web app of my password keeper, Dashlane, I am not able to click on the drop down box "My Account" and get any response - nothing happens. I have multiple Dashlane Friends & Family accounts that I switch between frequently. I have to go back to the icon on my toolbar in order to log out. This is happening on all 3 of my computers.

The weird thing is that when I use Chrome, open the web app and click the "My Account" box on all 3 computers, Dashlane works perfectly. Is there an issue that has been created by your recent update to Firefox?

I am accessing my ISP to download the security software. I need to be able to select the Operating System. When I click on the drop down box I am prompted for the OS, but when I select it the drop down box does not populate. I then get a message to select the OS. This works with Microsoft Edge.

When using Firefox, Facebook recently began insisting that I use a second device to obtain permission to log into my Facebook account. This is relatively new, and Edge still lets me log in without issue. How can I make Firefox return to the easier login system?

Firefox clears all of my settings every time I close and reopen it. My homepage, settings for various extensions, custom toolbar settings, application settings, etc., are all gone and I have to start all over. Additionally, Firefox usually takes 20 to 30 minutes or more to fully load upon opening. Any solution for the problem of losing all of my settings everyday?

Hi, I am using Linux Zorin and have updated to a later OS but cannot reinstall my stored files because, "/home/garry/.mozilla/firefox/0czvkt76.default-release/lock". Which has confused me, I have used a Deja Dup backup which uses Duplicity files as per the Zorin programme. Duplicate files are stored in a WD ext hard drive. What can I do to recover my files pls? I have Firefox set to reopen everything that was open when it closed. That only seemed to work if I had one window open, but I usually have a half dozen or more open with anywhere from a few tabs to well over 100 tabs in a window. The most reliable way I found to have those all reopen was to restart my computer. Firefox would be closed, but next time I opened it all the windows and tabs were there again. I needed to close Firefox a few minutes ago and didn't want to save all the other programs I was in the middle of, so (I thought I had done this before) I right-clicked the Firefox icon on the Taskbar and told it to close all windows. When I opened Firefox the next time it only opened one window (unfortunately the least important one), and only had two other windows in the History | Recently Closed Windows (also not very important windows). Are there any backup or other files where I could get back the other windows I had open? Unfortunately if I have a tab open for a month, for example, it is not saved in today's tabs, and it's not feasible to scroll back through thousands of listings in the history trying to figure out which tabs I had open. Thank you for any assistance!

I don't know where the problem lies. I have a number of videos on youtube and when I was doing some work in markdown I clicked on an older link and was redirected to a website with some bozo trying to promote something - not mine. I tried a few more times and got a bunch of different websites and bozos. This is from clicking on the shared link on the the youtube page.

I don't know whether I've something on my computer, your browser that's causing it, or something somehow on youtube????

Got any suggestions?

2 weeks ago I visited a git hub page to try to find a solution to my Logitech keyboard problem.

Then all of a sudden I noticed that on start up, this webpage kept automatically opening. Needless to say, I have disabled open on start. I have cleared cache data, refreshed the browser and uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing gets rid of this opening webpage.

Why? Even when the browser is uninstalled, something keeps attempting to execute the command / process to open this webpage. How can I kill it? I did download only an afk file, surely it wasn't a virus? This is just a random person from Israel who posted about a keyboard. Surely I am not hacked? Please help me kill this random problem.

To reiterate, this website automatically opens on start up on matter what.

I've compared chrome shortcuts and Firefox shortcuts and hope to improve.

If you add a shortcut like Chrome, please let me use it separately. I still use Chrome because I don't like the shortcut icon. 1. So that I can use a shortcut icon like Chrome. 2. Make the shortcut icon as big as Chrome.

I don't know if you can listen to this. Firefox developers can make a big difference when they listen to this. Users choose a browser for their own convenience with additional features

I cannot open certain emails as they say "cannot open due to popup. block popup". I cannot find where to do that. I do not use chrome, which is how the computer says to block it.

Please see attached. Somehow there are 3 instances of firefox on my pc. Using windows 11. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling new download. but get same error. Cannot use firefox but (excuse my language) i have to use Bing.

my mac desk top is version 10.11.6 its from year manufactured 2008 no more updates available, dont understand how to keep my old desk top from 20087 usable with firefox after March 31st 2024

I recently switched ISP and now when I try to google anything with firefox I keep getting this message appear:

"Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot."

It prompts me to click 'I am not a robot' then pick out which lights have cars etc in them. Worked fine before the ISP change. Some notes:

- This does not occur on Microsoft Edge or Chrome. - The only add on I have is Ublock but it still does this when I have that disabled. Plus I have Ublock on Edge and there are no issues.

If it's my IP address, then why does this ONLY appear when I use Firefox? Surely it would also appear when using google on any browser if my IP address was in question...

From what I am reading online, my only option is to either: - Use a different search engine ; or - Use a different browser.

I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts on this.

I even tried running in safe mode but the problem remains. If I copy an image from anywhere - Discord, a website, the snipping tool in windows - and go to paste it into Facebook/Plurk/anything similar, it doesn't work.

This works perfectly in Chrome and used to work perfectly in Firefox. This is becoming infuriating. I can't even do 'take screenshot' and have it paste.

right now, using this form for typing the question, I can see that typewriting spelling is perfectly working

but if I go to gmail web, and I try to spell check , it neither shows the option in the right click menu
