I'm trying to make a new Firefox Account with an email address I have for school, but it keeps saying that it is invalid. I believe it is because the latter half, instead of being @gmail.com or whatever, is @port*********.org. I tried logging in with another email that had @gmail.com and it worked just fine.

What I'm really asking is: Is there a way around this or is this in vain?

Worked flawlessly until .0.1 update. Now when I pinch out (or in) nothing happens. I checked about:config for pinch and all the settings seem to be properly in place.

I have loved being a Mozilla-stuff user intermittently since teaching on Netscape 1.1, and now am making Firefox 98.02 my default browser. I like both Safari and Firefox, and sometimes use them simultaneously for two accounts on the same service (not right now). My physically pristine 2015 Mac cannot install OS's past the 10.12 I have, so Safari is failing. But I am exasperated at runarounds when trying to set up this Firefox account. I used the emailed verification code and seemed to get in, but got the red-box message "This account... administrator... error." I cannot tell whether the site is letting me use it normally, but I think not. I just spent an hour in help forums. Geesh, tech complexity has mushroomed since my LAN work in the 90s, and you volunteers get to cope with inarticulate queries like mine! Upload is failing of jpg screen shot that has been made anonymous. Help?

I would like to find the settings for PREVENTING FIREFOX VER 115 ESR on MAC from UPDATING. \

This is because Firefox 115.7.0esr.dmg is (supposedly) the last version for old MacBook Air that lets me watch Netflix on that machine. I want to use Firefox exclusively for that purpose, so that all of Mozilla and Firefox staff can stop worrying about viruses, etc.

The question is: Is there such a setting on Firefox 115.7.0esr.dmg that would let me accomplish that. I CAN follow long-winded & complicated instructions to the letter, and as long as these instructions are correct and complete, there should be no problem. If mission control for NASA's 1977's Voyager can still communicate and extend the useful of the Voyager probe, then I figure that you understand what it might take to keep a MacBook Air from 2015 going. In other words: As long as it works, it's worth it to keep it going.

If Mozilla's mantra is: "Lets destroy everything older than 4 years", then you will not understand the issue.

Does anyone on Support Mozilla know the secret magic software words to do this?

So I updated today as requested and now all the sites I had previously checked to allow pop ups etc on are no longer functioning.

Why dod you not include copying these settings in your update,

Hello, I use a website, MySubaru.com, that has always loaded on my iMac (10.12). Lately what I get is a blank screen whether from the bookmark or the website in Google. Strangely enough, the site loads fine using Safari and on my MacBook and iPhone. Any suggestions? Thank you, Eric

Since signing on to a Hillsdale College information page, multiple pop ups in the upper right corner from explore.information.com/these -50-popular .... appear. They are identical but keep on appearing after unsubscribing. whenever the screen is opened again, they reappear. Please help.

I've been reading all the information about notifications, but I can't seem to stop the small popouts that slide into sight from the upper right side of the browser page. They appear to be from my gmail repeating whatever latest email has arrived on my page. I've tried so much on the settings page, I am now in the fog of war. Can't see where/what I am supposed to do. This just started 8-10 days ago. I'm not sure what has triggered it, but it's really annoying. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Answers have to be in plain English, please. Thank you.

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

For over 6 weeks, and only on Netflix Canada, we (family members) have been getting the padlock with a triangle in the address bar only after I log into Netflix. This occurs on any and all of our 4 computers using all of the 3 different internet providers, one of which is the largest Internet provider in Canada, BELL including also the their BELL Mobility Network. I appreciate that as you can see we're using older operating systems, but Firefox reports our version 110 is up to date. Our adult children have much newer computers and later if not the latest Mac OS, and are attempting to access Netflix from other internet providers elsewhere in the province of Ontario. One of them is using the next largest internet provider in Canada, or at least the province, ROGERS. She too is still having this problem. I've been through the mill with Netflix's support people and they blame you guys and our internet providers. I cannot resolve the issue, and for that reason we have ceased using Netflix because of the implicit security vulnerability attached.

Please advise, other than updating to latest compatible version (macOS Monterey 12.7.2) or replacing computer.

Up until 2 weeks ago, all ESPN+ and ESPN3 content played on my Mac. It no longer does. When clicking on the start button the screen goes to black, the title of the content appears, but no video. Firefox 109.0.1 MacOS 10.12.6 Content plays as expected with Safari

I have disabled 2FA. I want to disable this. I have enable a password (strong). Firefox continues to request authentication via e-mail. Can this please be disabled?

Hello, Every time I try to open a new tab, either for searching or for opening up any of my accounts such as facebook, a security alert pops up and the URL is resultvIt.com. Please help.
