I have a new pc running Windows 10. After loading Mozilla Firefox, I went to tools; options; content; selected to Block pop-up windows but it doesn't work. Everytime I go to a new site, multiple windows pop up all over the page. I am running McAfee Total Protection.
I went to the firefox blog website, found the follow info, ran it and still no help.
hi Cynthia.Wilson, from the data you've submitted, you appear to have malicious addons present. so please perform all these steps:
1. reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
2. afterwards go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
3. finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
I have only McAfee add ons and it will it not let me activate my Adobe Acrobat DC - Create PDF or Adobe Flash Player.
Can you please help me with this issue?
