I am using a PC, Windows 10. I have the latest version of Firefox installed, ie V 62.0.2 (x64 en-US) from Sep 21, 2018. The Mozilla Maintenance Service (MMS) version installed on my PC is V 55.0.3 from Jun 28, 2018. My review and reading of various posts on this site indicates the MMS version should be the same number as the Firefox version. How do I update MMS to 62.0.2? Thank you.

I have the latest firefox, but it keeps launching all by itself when my computer starts showing the website in the screenshot...

Please note that I have windows 10, and dont have any software installed that might have caused this...

I also scanned my system using several anti spyware and antiviruses but nothing was found...

I have a MacBook running Gigh Sierra 10.13.6 and Firefox 62.0.2 I have just found out that one of the applications I use only supports Firefox 60. Is there anyway I can go back to that version?

Just downloaded/installed Mozilla/Firefox because I'm having problems with Chrome and IE. In the process, it asks for my mobile phone number. What do I do if I don't have a mobile phone? Am I out of luck?

Some random symbols are appearing over icons. I have been troubleshooting since 3 months, none of them are helping me out. Its so annoying to use firefox without fonts and symbols correctly exposed. I am using the latest version firefox. I have been updating everytime. But, the problem still exists. Please someone help me with this.

It used to be very easy to navigate and add an extension or plug in. You could always find a list of your plug ins/extensions and if they were active or not. I cannot find anything. Can someone help? I am using a mac and Firefox is my browser. Sorry if this sounds stupid but I have not checked it in a while and now I cannot find anything. Thank you

I already have Outlook open. when I click on an email address in firefox, a new email opens correctly in Outlook but now I have two instances of outlook running. i'm running office 365, windows 10, firefox 62.0.2. 64-bit

So I am not a coder for anything special. I just write basic HTML for formatting on Deviantart. I'm having an issue where Firefox automatically closes my HTML tags without me wanting it to.

EXAMPLE:
<*blockquote>text
more text
more text
<*/blockquote>

DOES NOT WORK. Firefox automatically changes it to the following:

<*blockquote>text<*/blockquote>
more text
more text

I need to know how to disable this if possible, otherwise I have to switch browsers because this is a very tedious issue for me when I'm trying to write simple HTML code.

Recently, I downloaded & installed FIREFOX 62. Ever I have started using it, I have a problem which i do NOT encounter with ANY OTHER browser.

FIREFOX turns some on setting of my TWITTER & does NOT allow me to change them as per the attached screen shot. My Safety settings: - Hide sensitive content - Remove blocked and muted accounts Are clicked (pre-selected) & dimmed, I can not uncheck them, while I open CHROME & find them free to check or uncheck.

As a result of this problem, I can NOT see any video posted in Twitter using FIREFOX.

Yesterday, I posted this same problem here & got a reply asking me to clear the Cache, I did that & the problem disappeared, BUT it APPEARED AGAIN & now can NOT solve it at all, no matter what Cache I clear or anything else. I uninstalled FIREFOX & re INSTALLED it again , BUT THE PROBLEM remains unsolved.

Does anybody have any recommendations? Previously, I used earlier versions of FIREFOX and NEVER had this problem.

WHAT DOES FIREFOX PRE_SELECT MY TWITTER SAFETY SETTING & PREVENT ME FROM CHANGING THEM.

Firefox hangs when I open a new tab or new webpage. It's really annoying!

Everytime I do the automatic updates this shit happens. I used to go to one of the articles where it gave me instructions on how to reset my preferences, but that thread has since been modified, it now says to delete my pref.js, but that doesn't fix the issue anymore.

So i'm resorting to actually making a god damn account and asking why this shit keeps happening. I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed aswell, but it saved some of my data which I kinda need (bookmarks). That doesn't help.

I know that resetting my preferences back to default every update used to fix it, but I forget how now. Thanks...

Can someone just tell me how to fix it so I can update without having to do all this shit again.

I have only one extension and that is adblockerplus. Not likely the cause as it does this aswell without.

When I attempted to access certain sites, I received the attached loading page instead-from that page but also from other attempted sites. I was told that I should edit my https settings in my browser to solve the issue. The exact quote being 'set your privacy settings to https'. Unfortunately, even though I was refered to using Firefox, I still cannot find what this setting is supposed to refer to. Can anyone help please? It says to contact the website owners but I can't actually contact them without getting on the site to figure out their contacts first >_>

I've recently switched back to Firefox from Chrome. I'm currently running version 62.0.2 on MacOS (High Sierra 10.13.4). I mostly imported bookmarks from my old Chrome session, and I didn't have an Firefox Sync account so I created one.

I've been experiencing issues with certain websites such as Facebook, or Paypal. When I try to go on these websites, they won't load very quickly compared to others, and they end up breaking Firefox completely. By that I mean that other tabs seems to act as if there was no internet anymore. An example would be Spotify, who simply stops playing music as soon as I go on these websites, or Gmail that claims there's no connection to the internet. Opening new websites (that usually load without any issue) doesn't work anymore, I get a permanent "Waiting for <website.something.tld> in the lower left corner".

This was after a fresh installation of Firefox. I've also experimented these issues, with exactly the same websites, on my other computer which runs Firefox 64 (I think?), on a Windows 7 box. I've tried pretty much everything in the help section listing fixes for websites that load slowly, etc. including resetting Firefox completely, but the issue doesn't go away.

These websites still load fine in Chrome.

I would like to know if there are other steps I could follow in order to solve that problem.

The menu bar is totally gone and ALT does nothing, it will not activate the regular menu. I tried the REFRESH thing but it blows out all of the addons so I reverted back to the old profile. WTF??? I have tried all the suggestions and turned on MENU and nada, zip, bupkus

Hi, whenever I restart firefox only three windows will be restored from the previous session, even if there were more windows open. The tabs themselves are all restored just fine, it's only the number of windows that's limited to three.

This issue started occuring after I upgraded to "firefox quantum" due to the tabmix plus addon (which I used as a session manager) no longer being available.

Is there any way to make firefox restore ALL previous windows that were open during the previous session?

I've host access to google authenticator I was keeping my 2FA code for my firefox account. I need to generate a new QR and my understanding is that I must disable and re-enable 2FA in order to generate one. Clicking on the "Disable" button does nothing.
