I have bought an asus transformer book t100 and set mozilla firefox as the default browser but when used without the external keyboard the tabs and close buttons are too small for my fingers. I assumed there would be a tablet version similar to that on my smart phone but I can't seem to find/activate this if it exists. some comparison websites seem to have reviewed the big browser companies and review firefox for tablets using a touch/metro version but when I downloaded the most recent beta version i still cant find how to switch modes.

I just upgraded to v 31.0 and at least two of my add-ons stopped working: session manager and Bufferapp. When I try to click on a session to restore it nothing happens. The Bufferapp should appear in the context drop down menu & doesn't. I've also noticed that I can no longer do a google search from the main URL box as I could before. I also can't get to about:config using this box. I also cannot do a search using the Google search box on the Google search page.

I just deleted both add ons and then tried to reinstall them. I got an error message saying FF could not modify the file. What is going on here?

There may be other add-ons not working as well. I haven't checked all of them. It does appear that some of them like NoScript are working normally.

Before the upgrade all my add-ons were working fine.

Are there any known bugs with the upgrade I should be aware of? I wonder if I should reinstall the previous version.

I Remember in old version when i want to disable picture i use this way : Tools>option>Content>show or disable or enable picture ! but now in new updaate version how can i fix this problem ?! please tell me a best way to disable picture !

I have always been able to use Firebug but recently I went to right click a page I was working on and selected "Inspect Element with Firebug" and absolutely nothing happened. I then clicked "Inspect Element (Q)" and the built in one worked..

I then checked the "Add-ons" listing and firebug 2.0 has "Disable" and "Remove" which means that it is ENABLED and should be working. However when I mouseover the Firebug BUG icon in the top right portion of the page it says "Firebug 2.0 Deactivated".

I REMOVED firebug and re-installed it and same thing. I then went into safemode but then you cannot enable it manually so that didn't work.

I'm using the newest (as of now) Firefox 31.0

The version history shows that Beta 31 installed Friday and on start-up this morning, a message came that FF was installing updates. Then FF started and then this problem emerged.

AIOS does not respond to attempts to change it from within the --the 'apply and change' buttons do not respond. The extension was removed and re-installed but with no change in behavior. NOTE: This machine is a Thinkpad T530 with W7 Pro and the tech support at Lenovo has alerted me that my BIOS needs updating (this can be done only at their depot, machine is under warranty.)  

Is there a way to solve this problem before the machine goes to depot?

I am fetching lot of problem in using Firefox. 1. I can't use firebug properly. Always it hanging my work. 2. Its restarting many time during my work. 3. Also lot of many problem I am fetching.

I got three popups saying a new version of Firefox was available so I went to Mozilla.org and did an update. Why am I still getting messages to update? Here is the address of the popup

Hi, why when i save a webpage that includes javascripts, javascripts not save and replace with this message: /* Script removed by snapshot save */

on both HTML and MAFF formats that i use. this problem is due to extensions??? or if no, how i can disable this feature?

I am a Sr. Editor for Informer Technologies(Software Informer). In the course of a review for 'SafeWebApp' I had to visit the above website. It displayed fine in Google Chrome but not in Firefox (latest ver). In FFX only a blank page is displayed. Yes, the related domain has expired, but does that matter ?

Mac OS 10.6.8. Firefox 31.0.

I like the old behavior of command+k and going right to google.com. Is there any way to bring that back? I've looked in about:config but haven't been able to find anything.

This changed when my browser was upgraded to 31.0. I'm not sure what the previous version was, but it's been kept fairly up-to-date.

Over a week of use you can see the memory level steadily increasing over time on the ram monitors, by simply restarting Firefox and reloading all the pages I use as standard the memory level has dropped by 1Gig and does not instantly rise again but slowly over the week. Does this mean that there is a leaky program leaving unused buts in the ram, or is it just all the add on programs that you can not get rid of not clearing until the restart?

Same problem! solutions presented seem cumbersome, there should be a simple fix. I just migrated to firefox from IE. Looks as I might have to go back to IE to use email! Not what I intended when moving to firefox after rave reviews...they just left one thing out.....

Whenever you have an update available is it really not too much to ask that you display the "Do you want to update" dialogue every few minutes? When I select "Ask later" I generally mean in a few days, or even in 12 hours or so, like next time I log in, not at short intervals.

Having the same question asked of me several times a day is just downright annoying and ignorant. You wouldn't like it if a person came along and asked you the same thing time and time again on the same day. If I wanted to update at that particular time of day I would do so.

This is extremely annoying, to the point where I have now turned off update notifications. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Just ask once, when I fire up, that would be sufficient.

The bookmarks/folders on my bookmark toolbar duplicate for no reason. I do not know how to stop this from happening. I made sure that I bookmark syncing was not checked. I have tried Mozilla add-ons, but none have worked. I need to know what steps to take to fix this.

I am getting updates on Firefox ever other day, and this has been going on for a while, but now it's getting kind of annoying! Why is my browser requesting updates every other day or so?
