Hi, I'd like to disable that annoying animation when going to fullscreen (by hitting F11). Supposedly, setting the following should work:

Go to about:config

Set: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 full-screen-api.warning.delay 0 full-screen-api.warning.timeout 0

Restart

However, this does not have any effect in Firefox 94.0 on Ubuntu. Is this a bug/regression? Or is there some other way to disable the animation?

i opened firefox (v.95) and tried opening up my email and found that all my saved passwords were gone from firefox on my computer. it said i should crate a firefox account to get my logins back so i did and i still could not access any of my web logins. so i searched the help pages. opened up my profile n made a backup of my key3, key4, n loginjson files, downloaded v.91 firefox esr and copied my key3 file into a new profile.

so i still dont have my web logins ... n now i have an outdated version of firefox with none of my bookmarks either. im sick of troubleshooting n my wifi is almost out for the month.

how do i get my web logins and bookmarks back so i dont have to spend hundreds of hours recreating them?

Really happy to see that mozilla is tightening up security. But unfortunately, I can't enroll into Two-Step Authentication everytime I enter code it's not being accepted. I tried multiple android apps of those codes and non of them work for me.

Because of that, I lost access to addons.mozilla.com account, because system doesn't let me in without 2step auth enabled.

Any chance I can use yubikey's intead of those auth apps? or anything else I can do?

Hi I Can not remove Bookmarks. I test all usual ways but nothing happened!i first i test manage Bookmarks and select delete but it did not work... then i made my own account and nothing change... steal i can not delete bookmarks.

 Please help me.

How do I keep Firefox from losing the internet connection just cause I don't want to close all the tabs I've had open the past week or so? I've tried clearing the cookies, and then reloading my open tabs, but it ends up losing the connection, just the browser itself. Other browser still works. Completely closing all tabs and restarting Firefox gets it working again, but dare I reload the previous session again, open all the tabs (acts like it's going to work), but then loses connection.

Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? I've selected an option to open PDF's in Firefox for preview. And if I wanted to download the PDF after preview, I simply clicked the downloab button from the preview app/tab. The files were downloaded with default filename and to the downloads folder without prompts. But since a while ago the dialog where the save location must be selected and filename given for the file opens up after the click of the download button.

How can I change it back to the previous behaviour without having to input filename and select the file download directory?

I seemed to try everything I found at the net, but since I updated to Mac OS Monterey, Chinese and other non Latin Charaters don't show up. It works with Chrome and Safari, What's the problem.

Help continuously mentions something about clicking a "shield" to the left of the address bar, yet my up to date Firefox shows no "shield" anywhere i can find. Has an update obviated the need for it, and if so, do we have updated help files to reflect the new control for security, vpn and cookie usage?

When using Google Meet, you are given the option to share your screen — either the entire screen, or a specific Firefox window.

I've noticed, however, that no matter what Firefox window is used, if you access an extension that creates a pop-up dialog, such as the Container selection button from Conex, the uBlock origin settings popup for each webpage, or a password manager pop-up such as Bitwarden, those popups will appear on the shared window, even if you decide to do this from another Firefox window altogether.

This is a major security concern for me, as I've had circumstances where the password entry window for Bitwarden will appear on any window, even if I open the extension pop-up from a window not being shared to Google Meet. I'm not sure where to submit this issue, so I'm starting from the Mozilla support page and going from there. Would appreciate anyone's help on getting this issue resolved. Thank you.

but I have a windows 10 and the solution does not show up in the Taskbar settings. Is there an updated version for this? Here is the OPs original question.

"When I open a new Firefox window, it stacks it on top of all the others in the task bar at the bottom. I would like them to be BESIDE each other. It used to do that. Hi, I check my storage for large folders and I came across folder inside Firefox profile called "cert-revocations" and its size is more than 400MB, can I delete it safely? What cons of deleting this folder? and why Firefox doesn't clean this folder periodically?

Often when browsing I find that when i want to use spacebar it does something i don't want it to do, which is advance the page downwards, like the "page down" button. I'd like to change that to something else, like maybe the page down key. Thanks.

While using Yahoo email I tried to access the 'Notepad' page and get a message saying to Download a new version of Firefox to see the 'Calendar' even though I was trying for the 'Notepad' not the 'Calendar'. If I try for the 'Calendar' I initially get the small right-sidebar version fine but if I ask for the full page version I get the error message again. This does not happen if I access Yahoo through Chrome-browser. I have repeatedly done the download to no avail. (I have version 99.0.1). I am attaching a screenshot of the error message. Thanks for any help. No rush.

Today I tried to place an online order to pickup from Texas Roadhouse, but no matter what time I chose a message said it was not available. The only selection that worked was "Earliest Available Time". Finally I called to place an order. Firefox worked 2 months ago but I don't recall which version I was using at the time.

Today I was using FF vers 97.x and later updated to vers 99.0.1 figuring that might be the problem, but it made no difference.

Later I tried Windows 10 Edge & that worked. Then tried a Chromebook & that also worked.

I've also had problems going to the Tracfone website & so have several other people. It's hit or miss with Firefox & usually it doesn't work. But Chrome or Edge seem to work for everyone.

Is this a website problem or a FF problem?
