Running an Ad Blocker on Router/Firewall. On my Ubuntu 22.05 any browser (Mozilla, Chrome) just clears the area where the ad was at. Starting to use Windows 10 and all browsers leave a mess where the ad was. Mostly error message "...hmmm were having trouble finding that site..". Hope there is a way to clean that up with Windows as well.

I have a current version of Firefox (v123.0 running on Windows 10) but I can't do what I used to be able to do? (And it is making me nuts!)

I used to be able to resize the contents of a site - such as youtube or wordpress or tumblr - there would be a little % on the far right of the URL bar, and I could adjust that until the site was readable and all the pieces I wanted fit in. I can't find a control that will change this for me in the new version. Is it somewhere else? Did that control not port into the new version? Is is gone for good? (I really hope not!) I realize this is such a small problem, but it affects how I interact with basically every site online.

What makes this extra frustrating is that I'm not even certain I am using the correct terms for the thing I want -

Hi, I develop a firefox kiosk application for an IoT device and I'm wondering what setting disables this message?

This message popped up on a release of our software which hadn't applied a policies.json file yet, is it safe to assume it will be covered by the following policy which we have on a later release?

Hi. I used to be able to maximize (fullscreen) a Firefox window in either my main display or my connected external display and the unused display would remain available. As of the last update the unused display is being blacked out. How can I revert this so I can use the other display? I have already tried turning hardware acceleration off and back on and it still does not work.

I think this happened before in an older update where the CTRL+\ shortcut would not fill in fields or bring up the pop-up menu for 1Password 4.

The addon is still usable but it is a good deal more tedious. It also seems like the prompts for new account generation do not show up, so all logins would have to be entered manually when making a new account, which is less than optimal.

If this could be fixed again this would be very appreciated.

How can I restore a previous theme? I had a "colorfore" theme that Mozilla offered a few years ago set up in Firefox. It was perfect! I could see everything clearly with my aging eyesight.Then one of my synced computers needed a new Linux OS installation so I signed out of sync on that machine. Installed the new OS. When I started Firefox the first time I signed into sync. I got my history, bookmarks and bookmark bar, but no custom colors. Now my computer at work has its colors reset to the out of box colors too. I have lost the colorfore colors I have been using for several years now. How can I get the colorfore colors back? I want to uninstall and maybe re-install some add-ons. But when I goto the add-on page. It just appears blank. So are some other pages in the support/ help sections. Another most notably, is (via menu) help -> more troubleshooting information. It just sends me to a blank page! See the uploaded images for the pages I get send to.

Help please with changing my add-ons

Starting, I believe, with 12/20/2023 build of FF Nightly, the "Page Info" window has a bizarre alternating highlight on the media tab, and full highlight on the Permissions tab, but no highlight on the Security tab. Other FF windows, like the download/history box, have no issue. I could change Windows theme to dark to invert the all backgrounds to black, and the text to white, but that's just hiding the issue. Nothing in add-ons was changed, and none of them would cause this.

When typing if I make a mistake I'll usually just delete the entire word and retype it rather than fix the spelling but to do that I need to use CTRL. Now when I press CTRL it zooms in the page even though there are no other buttons being pressed.

EMBARRASSINGLY I REALIZED WHAT I NEEDED TO DO. THIS IS THEREFORE NO LONGER NEEDED TO BE ANSWERED, SO YOU CAN SIMPLY MARK IT SOLVED IF YOUD LIKE. THANKS!

I chose to reinstall Firefox browser in order to start over fresh and ensure a security refresh. Once installed, I created an entirely new Mozilla account with new info. However, when I go up to the top right of the browser and click on the little icon of the circle with a bust in it (the Account icon), it simply opens the preferences and related settings, it does not allow me to sign in to any account, nor does it show if I am already signed into any account. Is this a malfunction of the iteration I installed, or am I misunderstanding something?

AdBlock has not made any updates for Firefox for eleven months. Do they just not care, or has Mozilla rejected them? The internet is terrible enough as it loves to scam all users on all sites.

That was a useful article. But I would prefer to (also here) open a new tab behind the ones already open. Could this also be done?
