Hello Firefox Support Team,

I would like to report a browser compatibility issue regarding CSS positioning behavior that differs from Chromium-based browsers.

• • Issue Description:**

When an element with `position: sticky` is placed inside a container with `position: fixed`, Firefox treats the sticky element as if it has `position: relative`, effectively breaking the sticky positioning functionality.

• • Expected Behavior:**

The sticky element should maintain its sticky positioning behavior even when nested inside a fixed-positioned container, as it does in Chromium-based browsers.

• • Current Firefox Behavior:**

The sticky element loses its sticky properties and behaves like a relatively positioned element.

• • Use Case:**

This issue particularly affects modal implementations where: - The `body` element receives `position: fixed` to prevent background scrolling - Page elements (such as `.total-section`) should maintain their sticky behavior regardless of changes to the body positioning

• • Browser Comparison:**

- **Chromium browsers (Chrome):** Sticky positioning works correctly in this scenario - **Firefox:** Sticky positioning fails and falls back to relative behavior

• • Request:**

Could you please consider aligning Firefox's behavior with other major browsers? The current inconsistency creates cross-browser compatibility issues and forces developers to implement JavaScript workarounds.

On Firefox, I can't use a chatbot because it says Speech recognition is not supported in this browser. This is my own new website that has a chatbot in it to help people out. I'm trying to test it. It works fine on Chrome and Safari but not on Firefox? Why? I have an IMac computer and my software and operating systems are up to date. Firefox is currently my default browser, but that may have to change, if this can't be corrected. Thanks!

When I access Facebook via Firefox browser there usually are issues - site does not load properly, videos stop working, and more. I do not encounter the same problems with other browsers.

good day. we have always used mozilla for streaming but since last week it is just buffering. We can watch youtube and netflix on it but dstv is not working anymore

Greetings, On cargurus website for example there are many filters which contain multiple checkboxes each. If I scroll down to a section and select a checkbox, the results refresh and takes me back to the top of the page. The problem is that sometimes I want to select more than one checkbox in a filter or choose checkboxes in the next filter to select a checkbox. When I search for cars I may end up selecting more than 10 filter checkboxes to get the results I want. If I have to scroll back down to where I left off each time, it takes a lot of time to run a query. This jumping to the top does not happen using Chrome, so there must be something in firefox that can be adjusted but I cannot find it. I only used Cargurus as an example, but it happens on all sites with checkboxes. Keep in mind I am not a programmer so I don't know how to add code to websites or firefox settings. I've noticed recently that I am unable to log into my bank account when I use Firefox and have to use the Microsoft Edge browser instead. I've used Firefox as my primary browser for years and began experiencing the problem in the last month or so. Any suggestions on how to remedy the problem?

Not sure if I had an option to best describe. I have previously ordered on ebay. Tonight I was not allowed. I am sure if I use a different browser, I would be able to place the order. I previously have ordered from Herbalife. I could use foxfire and then there was a change and I could not place the order with Herbalife. I order over the phone for a time and then I decided to use a different browser and when I did the order went through as previously. Now I seem to have the same problem with ebay. Can you help me to know what I can do to be able to use all of my apps with foxfire?

The website in question does not recognise that data has been entered when it comes from Autofill. The only solution is to manually enter the address details manually. This does not happen on the same website in chrome or Edge. This s enough to send me back to chrome....

Before I used Firefox for browsing the web, but now when I try to go to indeed.com to search for a job all I get is a white screen, or when I go to pluto.tv to stream TV all I get is a black screen, can you please check what's going on and fix it, so I can start using Firefox again as my default browser.

I am a long time user of firefox, but over at least the last six months I find that I have to use another browser to log into or use various websites - and I find it very difficult to contact you to try to find remedy. Started out several months ago. Could not verify - captcha - had to use Brave to complete login to complete purchase of subscription. Happening more often as time passes. I can complete logins only when I switch to Brave or Vivaldi. Do not want to switch browsers, but becoming more and more likely.

"Secure connection and security warning error pages in Firefox." I have read this article, but it does not really help. Since about Monday this week that i have been experiencing a 'lockout' from certain websites that i trust and regularly visit. How is it possible that you can override my own personal security options? This is occurring with Duckduckgo. Using Google allows access to the website. Using Brave presents no problems at all.

So i am going to move away from Firefox to Brave. I appreciate warnings but not lockout. You guys do not know the websites i have been visiting for decades and they are all legal and ethical.

When I have attempted to log in to my MyPoints and my Entergy electricity account to pay my bill. I can not log in after the previous update. I was able to log in to my Entergy account on 08/22/2025 to pay one of our power bills. This was accomplished with out issue. When I went to log in to my Entergy account on 08/29/2025. The User name and password screen cleared correctly. The next step was for a 2ed step verification with a 6 digit code sent to my cell phone. This did not work at all. I tried several times after restarting my phone , computer, phone and computer with the same result.
