Bonjour Apres une mise à niveau de mozilla fire fox, je ne retrouve plus rien et ne peux aller sur mes mails comme d'habitude. Cela fait plusieurs fois que ça m'arrive mais en bidouillant un max j'avais réussi à retomber sur mes pieds. Or je suis en train de bidouiller depuis 35 mn et n'arrive à rien, on ne me reprendra pas à mettre à jour firefox si un jour j'arrive à le retrouver. D'ailleurs pourquoi cette "mise à jour" supprime systématiquement les programmes en place ....? Ne serait il pas possible de mettre à jour sans déprogrammer tout ce qui à été enregistré, et si oui c'est que vous n’êtes pas si doué ou c'est délibéré et c'est encore pire. Je vais creuser encore et tout fermer éventuellement pour aller voir ailleurs si c'est plus simple... Desolé Cordialement Claveau

My previous post seems to have disappeared, so will try again. I am 85 years old and have been using Thunderbird fo over 15 years with out any problems. Afew days ago I tried to send an e-mail and didn't have any "Send" button. In trying fix, I some how deleted my contacts sidebar. I sill have my addresses book. I have tried everything to retrieve them but no luck. I tried removing Thunderbird and reinstall, but it comes back the same. I would appreciate an guidance in trying to resolve my problem. Thank You

Help, My computer performed an automatic update, rebooting itself and all the history on Firefox has been lost all my open tabs have disappear. I followed other instructions to open the Profile Folder, but the only 2 files there are the ones created after the reboot. There are no previous files. Thanks, Juan

I formatted my pc and installed Firefox, once i logged in there was password and started to sync also, now i can see its shows empty ? i tried to enable MFA , now its empty showing

I updated my Firefox browser to the latest version (133.0.3) and lost all of my bookmarks (there were so many). This has never happened to me with previous Firefox updates. How do I get these bookmarks back? I am devastated right now and really want my bookmarks back. Please help.

UPDATE: I read several previous questions and support about recovering lost bookmarks prior to posting my question. None of them applied or worked in my situation. This latest update version 133.0.3 overwrote everything in my local Mozilla folder and my old profile did not seem to exist anywhere, but after much searching I did eventually finally find the last bookmark file (after selecting to view hidden files, searched for places.sqlite in my C drive) on my computer from before the update. Next step is to import them.

Moved to different pc, logged into my account, all bookmarks gone. What is going on? The sync even synced with empty bookmarks, and I guess everything I bookmarked is gone now.

(I have no idea what topic I should have selected. If you read the text here, you can quickly see that I am flailing about.)

Please bear with me as I try to finish restoring Firefox after a spam attack that got around MalwareBytes, SuperAntispyware, and Windows Defender. I am missing a large collection of bookmarks, and until a day or ago, I had not the foggiest idea what it was called, as I had started it quite a long time ago and had not encountered any problems.

I knew that, whatever it was, was still on the computer as I had caught a glimpse or two of it. Two days ago, I found it: I clicked on the three-dot icon in the top right-hand corner of Firefox, selected Bookmarks, scrolled to the bottom of the list, and clicked on Manage Bookmarks, whereupon I found my compilation named Bookmarks Menu.

I had, more or less accidentally found, several days ago that there is supposed to be an icon specifically for that entry. I thought that I had kept a copy of what the icon looks like; sadly, I just saw that I had not so done.

However, I sort of recall what it looks like, with, I believe a star and something else, and it is supposed to be found in More tools, Customize toolbar icon collection. I looked there, with my miscreant note about the icon I need to restore the use of Bookmarks Menu; the icon was not there (and is not now, I just looked.) I don't even remember how I found the text about the icon, which had an image of it, alas.

If anyone can assist me, that would be, obviously, greatly appreciated.

I recently came home from a trip and when I turned on the computer it started an update and when it finished I no longer had desktop, with the error "windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop is inaccessible" followed by "Unknown hard error" . Is there a way I can get my settings from the firefox records anywhere? to get my passwords?

firefox update 133.03 has wiped my harddrive of all profiles for the browser including backups even backup that were in different folders. How can I roll back now. I even tried to use a restore point from the day before and it did not help.

I did your update today - and LOST ALL MY SAVED FOLDERS!! HELP! I have used Firefox for years - and now lost alot of important information.

Need help ASAP to retrieve
