Hey Guys,

My trend micro password manager stopped work recently only on Mozilla but still works on every other browser, I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the trend micro and mozilla but it still isnt working?

Firstly; I am 77 years and represent a non understanding in computing. I recently changed fierfox code to ensure contact between my mobilephone and a table computer. I dont remember the old firefox code. My bankid does not work after change. My question; do I need to give new codes to bouth devices shall i also change other codes making Sync. Hello, Firefox has been getting worse with the latest updates to the browser. There are several websites I've attempted to visit that I received an error message when using Firefox, but opened without a problem with another browser. I am also having issues when trying to open attachments someone has sent to me in Outlook. I can read the email, but cannot open the attachments to the email. Are there any indications Firefox has been having these problems? If yes, are there fixes in the works?

Website with a picture, right-click, save picture as, choosing a directory.... ... and then, normally, if there are already 3 other files in the chosen directory, let's say: house_1.jpg , house_2.jpg , house_3.jpg , and I would start with typing "hou" for a filename, then normally FF would make a "suggestion-list" under the "filename:-box", like: house_1.jpg house_2.jpg house_3.jpg

... and I would be able to click on one of them, and change the name into house_4.jpg.

But, alas, there is no more suggention-list since this afternoon. I can only type a name for the file, and that's it.

Can someon please help me restore this "save-as-suggestion-list" ?

AOL Mail and Twitter no longer load starting today using the Firefox browser. Have restarted and pretty much spent a couple hours trying to fix on my own. AOL keeps trying to load the mail but won't...but works great on my IPAD and my IPhone. Same with Twitter...it's just stuck on the loading screen. Cleared history and cache but nothing works. HELP.

I have reset my Windows 10 OS with the windows repair tool, I have since lost all the data linked to my account such as password, bookmark, profile settings, etc...

I tried to sync multiple time to no avail.

I put a favorite on my wife's FF (v99 on latest Windows 10 Pro). This https site should have asked to save the password - it did not. When I went to Settings > Privacy & Security then click on [Saved Logins] I get a SYNC page that tells me I have to have a SYNC account. There were no logins found, which is scary because she has 50 (or so) logins to various sites she goes to. Clicking the [Create New Login] and entering the data then clicking [Save] freezes (fuzzes out the page) and does nothing.

This Password problem with Firefox is getting frustrating enough to quit using the product. One of the primary functions of a browser is to save our passwords. I do not want to use SYNC and have no interest in using it. It is atrocious to lose my 200 (or so) passwords every month for the last three months and now my wife's 50 (or so) passwords. This FF password manager is out of control and SYNC is another technological abomination.

What in the world is wrong with Firefox. We've never had these problems for over 15 years until the end of last year and so far this year?

Her profile (and mine) reside on a NAS drive with a "hard link" from our PCs to this network location.

When I click on a "mailto" link, Firefox (my default browser) opens a new tab, then immediately close that tab without waiting for my to interact with it. No draft email is created. I see that other users have reported this behavior in the past, and I've tried the suggested remedies without success. Specifically, I ran Malwarebytes, and it found no threats. I then started Firefox (on the Mac) via the Option key (to start it without ad-ons), and that does not change the behavior. I'm on ver 99.0.1 of FF, which is up to date as of 4/20/2022 (today). My Mac OS is also up to date (ver 12.3.1). My Mac is a 2021 MacBookPro with the Apple M1 Pro chip. I use gmail. OTHER BROWSER (like Safari and Chrome) can open "mailto" links in a new tab in FF (which is my default browser, and used for mailto links) just fine! I realize that you all don't support the older version. Yet it's also the case that Apple won't update this El Capitan on my 2008 model (terrible, a crying shame, I know).

I've also tried to install your Extended Support Release. Will that work? I'm an independent research scholar, not currently associated with either Oxford or Stanford.

So I really need to have your Firefox back — I had it until this morning, when I needed to trash it (b/c of a bug), and then re-install. Yet I've not been able to re-install so far.

Hence, I'm seeking your help!

Cannot mute any video/audio player on any website in Firefox, also attempting to mute a tab has no effect on audio, which continues to play. For example the audio controls on YouTube do not function. Attempting to lower the volume does not work, nor does attempting to mute the player. I also experience this on Twitter and Twitch as well as any other website I visit to consume video or audio media. This issue is exclusive to Firefox on my system and is not present it Chrome or other Chromium based browsers.

Hi, Its been happening for a while now and i assumedd it was hardware related in the past but after upgrading the rig i thoguht id see if it changed but it didnt i can even run stress tests pushing gpu and cpu to the max and still the video plays fine but when i go into another fullscreen application the freezing/stuttering begins, when i go on most if not any website that streams video, Netflix/Twitch are the main culprits when i tab into another appliaction they stutter if not freeze completley but the audio remains fine, i tried to troubleshoot and come up short so thought id try my luck here, Ive tried disabling (Even uninstalling) all plugins and restarted and no joy, created a new profile and used that, no joy, however when i launch firefox in troubleshooting mode from about:support the issue isnt present and i cant figure out what the issue is since it occurs on a new profile with no changes or addons which i thought was the same as launching in troubleshooting mode but there seems to be something different which i hope to find out, streaming outside the browser through apps like netflix works fine when im in another application just not in browser specs are below if it helps:

FF Version: 99.0.1 (64-bit) GPU: RTX3090 (Around 80% usage at absoulte maximum in another game for instance so still room it can be around 50% when on low demand applications and stutter still happens) CPU: I7-12700K (Around 50-60% usage in a high demand game so without that its barely even using any effort) RAM: 32GB 4800Mhz (Again under load still half of that left to use) Internet download speed: 1Gbps (Doesnt flucuate from monitering it, hard wired via ethernet)

If I have Mozilla Firefox open for a period of time, if posting a link, or refreshing it's as if there is no internet connection.

Web links in other tabs have no problem, only Tumblr.

Closing out the tab which Tumblr is in and opening a new tab and inserting the link produces the same result as if there's no internet connection.

The only way so far to rectify the problem is to close out Firefox, then restart. There also seems to be a delay in Firefox closing. When I click on the Firefox icon to open it, a pop-up appears that Firefox is already running, would you like to close it?

When attempting to add an Ipad to Mozilla vpn I seem to have created a new Firefox account with the same primary email address as my original (all of my profile is unset). When I now login to the account I end up in the new account and cannot access the original. However, when I try and delete the new account the new password is rejected and I suspect it wants the password from the original account - I do not want to test this as I do not want to lose my vpn. I am sure that there is confusion between the new and the old since I cannot set up the new account with the same secondary email address as the old one as it claims a user already has an account with this secondary address.

Any ideas on how I can get rid of the new account, if it is new, or clean it up so that I can restore it to the original ?
