Dear reader,

I wanted to completely removed Firefox because i had some issues. Instead om removing I probably refreshed FF.

Can somebody help with?

1. How to remove old FF data which is placed on my desktop and blocked for removal by admin rights. 2. How to completely remove FF without leaving any data (profiles, extensions)

I have tried to find this answers in the help sections but I was not able to find the solution for my situation.

The entire browser was acting extremely slowly, on every website, every start up. It crashed constantly to the point it was unusuable, it was even affecting the performance of the rest of my pc so I reset it and everything I had on the browser disappeared. Bookmarks, passwords, etc. I've tried going through the profile support pages but only the profile made from the reset exists. I had years worth of important bookmarks and passwords that'd I'd like to be able to get back if that's at all possible. (I'll live without them, it'll just suck trying to remember them all again) PC is Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14, Windows 10

100% of my bookmarks have disappeared. I tried backing up to older version a month ago and still no bookmarks were found. I had over 2000 bookmarks. any suggestions?? Marty

Since a recent update, whenever I try to go to ufc.om, Firefox shows me the error in the attached image. It used to display ufc.com without issues before the update [ don't remember which update ].

Other browsers [ Chrome and Edge ] display ufc.com without issues.

With vertical tabs and expand on hover, clicking on the X box rarely closes the tab. Sometimes I have success if the pointer is on the left or right line of the box. Not having luck on the center of the box. Has been true for several weeks. With hover off, clicking the X works fine. I am running Windows 11.

Not sure if posted under the right section.

Recently started having an issue trying to sign in to Microsoft Outlook (formally Hotmail) Web. I don't recall any changes i made or updates.

When i try to sign in, it opens a new tab and takes me back to the sign in page. This just continues.

Tried using MS Edge and don't have the issue.

So far tried Safe Mode which disabled add-ons, which are currently Add Block plus, and New Tab Override and the issue remains. Not sure if i tried the refresh option but i think it removes the extensions which is not the end of the world.

Added a few images, one shows duplicate tabs, which will continue

Firefox version 140.0.4 (64-bit)

Any ideas whats going

i have a new website tvbmaloha.com called "aloha bumper stickers" , and the order page does not display on my desktop mac , but displays elsewhere fine . the page loads but it is consistently blank. godaddy has been unable to fix this , as the page loads fine on other devices. any help would be appreciated. thanks ! it displays with crome and safari fine.

I have read all your tutorials. I was unable to have an important televisit with my doctor yesterday because nothing I tried worked. I am unable to use webcam for other sites until I resolve this problem. Previously I had no problem with my webcam but recently had to get new pc with windows 11 & needs to configure my pc to address this issue. I have another appt scheduled with another doctor & need to fix this problem asap Thanks

I am using the Raindrop (raindrop.io) bookmark manager. It has been working fine on Firefox for years. However, with my recent update to Firefox 140, it is broken. Specifically, I can no longer use the highlighting function. It works fine on Chrome, but not on Firefox. I've seen several similar reports on Reddit's Firefox forum (r/firefox).

What to do? I don't want to have to switch to Chrome. Suggestions appreciated.

Every time I access the web I get a report from Norton saying "Threat secured". It attaches every single website that I open. See attachment for some exmaples (only variabole part of message shown apart from first one).This is occuring 50+ times a day but does not occur using Edge, so it appears to be related to Firefox. While I enjoy the capability of selecting a search engine as I see fit, I would prefer that my local drives take precedence. Is there an easy way to enable this for everyday casual use? In other words, can I specify "search local drives first, followed by the web i.e. casting a wider net to search on the world wide web, and an arbitrary third placeholder such as foreign sources (example only) or foreign news items (again, fictitious example)

I want the browser's tab bar to display like the homepage, instead of disappearing after opening a webpage tab bar. I don't know if I can accurately express my meaning, but I will attach two pictures

How to get rid of the half-dozen old search sites from very top of each new page, directly under browser box. Those sites are places I no longer use, e.g., from my old job; from a Wiki search done ages ago. I have searched for help. I never see "three dots" when I hover my cursor above the offending items.

I was using Chrome. My daughter recommended Fire Fox for my MacBookPro. I did. Now I need to clean up this problem.
