For a while now, Firefox and a few other browsers default my keyboard to navigating through web page items rather than typing letters when I click in the search bar or address bar. Then I have to click TAB (sometimes several times) to get the keyboard typing again. I have tried 4 keyboards total and they all act the same way but act normally on my Windows PC. I have done extensive investigating into why this might be happening and why its only happening in web browsers and have come up with nothing. I am using Raspbian OS on a RPi5 and have used it smoothly for about 7 months. This issue has slowly gotten worse until it is now constant. I reinstalled the OS completely and it stopped malfunctioning for a few days but came back in a hurry. I've come to you as a last resort. I am sure Firefox is not the issue but if you know of any possible reason why this might be happening and point me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful. Thanks.

I use a screen reader and thus do not use a mouse. The only instructions in the mozilla knowledge base for how to generate strong passwords via the mozilla password manager are mouse specific. After much messing around, I figured out a solution.

I cannot connect with my on-line banking site. When I try, I get the message "Bad Request--Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. I am able to access the site using another browser, so there cannot be a problem with the site itself. This situation has only existed since Firefox did an update. So, the problem must lie with Firefox. If it is not fixed, then I fear that I will have to discontinue using Firefox as my online browser. I am curious if anyone has any experience using Firefox and the Weston keyboard. My hardware is a TI-skam62evm with a touch screen. When I run firefox the weston keyboard does not ever pop-up.

I can get the keyboard to show up with chromium if I pass in the --enable-wayland-ime flag when I launch chromium.

I did some digging and my trail ended with looking at WAYLAND debug logs that show weston advertising zwp_input_method_v1 and zwp_text_input_manager_v1 but firefox not binding. What input method does firefox use?

Any thoughts on how to use firefox with the Weston keyboard would be greatly appreciated.

bold textSelected text on page, e.g. search terms, are a dark grey color with black text. I have changed every option on setting with no success. I don't seem to be able to specify the highlight. I have tried, I tried overriding web pages to use my settings, high contrast, and system colors (PC, Win 11). This also occurs in eb pages, e.g. the Amazon page.

Quite often when I try to open the RMB context menu to download image from Google Images it either:

• shows me Developer tools or
• suggests to translate the image or
• redirects me to another page

I don't understand why it's happening at the first place, and how to solve this issue. I have installed Firefox 128.0.3 (64-bit) from Flathub.

bold text I had just used firefox to file something with the California Second District Court of Appeal and when I went to use it again, the following appeared on my screen: X The procedure entry point SECITEM_FreeArray could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll and then X Couldn't locate XPCOM appeared when I clicked ok at the bottom of the first message.

I need to get reconnected immediately. Please help. Thank you.

I want to set a keyword shortcut using special characters. Here's an example command+option+\. I've tried adding the shortcut for activating 1password. However, when I try to add it, I get the error message "Type a letter". This exact same shortcut was working before I had updated the app.
