Hello,

Whenever I use Firefox, I end up seeing popups (necessary for school) and would like to show them as tabs so I can merge them into other windows. I have tried the solutions given in: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1080255 and nothing seemed to work. Is there another way to make sure that popup windows cannot hide the toolbar and show tabs?

Discord hyperlinks will no longer open when Firefox Developer Edition is selected as my default browser. They open fine in both Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome when selected as Windows 11's default browser. When selecting my default browser it would show 2 instances of Firefox Dev but after uninstalling then reinstalling it there is only one instance in the default app list. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Maybe this is an issue with the latest version of Dev Edition or is this an issue with my Windows?

Tell me how to reduce the size of buttons, tabs, and everything else BUT the fonts in my browsers. All of them have been affected. I've exhausted all of the normal "look in Settings and use your brain" options.

Is it possible to change the icon size on the toolbar? I've been trying all morning to find the solution, but unfortunately without much success. Help me, please Ania

For the past year or so i have run into certain fields that will not accept a paste, whether by right click or Ctrl-v, and the behavior is consistent every time i try on that specific website. For example, a payment section of our utilities where though i can Ctrl-v my routing number (also it can be filled by what i can describe as a saved autofill - when you click in the field and the entry appears just below), but i can not paste my account number into the account space by either method (right click or Ctrl-v - nor does anything show below the field when one clicks in it).

I have always presumed that this is an intended behavior by whomever coded the webpage for security, but i just plain old find it annoying. Any chance i am correct in that it is a coding option these days, and if so, is there any way to break it?

FF upgraded itself and turned off the lighted keyboard on my tower computer. I can still use the keyboard, but it is not backlit and I want that feature back. Windows help files are non-existant. I have unpluged the keyboard and reconnected it and I did a cold reboot of the computer-no joy. Disabling the keyboard and trying to reinstall it by plugging it in again might work, but doing that is marked "advanced" by windows, so I am afraid to do it without advice. I am running windows 10 and use a Logitech keyboard. I am not a computer techi, so I need advice in baby-talk. VO1TV>

Hello! This is probably one of those intrusive facebook things I won't be able to stop, but when I open messenger in Firefox, it prompts me every! single! time! to download messenger for windows, which I very much don't want to do. It does it via a box over my messages that I have to physically click away. I already have pop-up windows disabled for every site. I went to permissions-- notifications but it wouldn't let me add messenger. Is there anything I can do?

This is a very bizarre problem. Basically I can't install any Firefox addon neither on my desktop OR may laptop. I noticed this issue just couple of days ago. When I try to install any addon normally, from a link, it tells me that the addon can't be installed because the file is corrupt. Tried several addons, all same problem. On my desktop AND on my laptop. On my desktop I'm running ver. 103, but on my laptop I still had ver. 102.1, so there is no Firefox update issue. When I try to install addon from xpi file, it tells me that I have no permission to open that file and that's it. I tried to take ownership of that file but it didn't solve the issue I tried to disable my AV program, but it didn't do anything. On my laptop, I tried to refresh FF, no help. I tried to start FF in safe mode, same problem. I created new profile, same issue. Eventually, I totally uninstalled FF, removing program itself, removing Appdata folder and even registry entry. Installed fresh copy of FF, same problem exists. Then, I noticed one thing. When I tried to sync fresh FF installation on my laptop, it synced everything, EXCEPT for addons. So, something is preventing me doing anything regarding addons. Themes install just fine. I've struggling with this problem since yesterday and at this point I totally ran out of any fresh ideas how to solve this issue, thus posting here. I'll appreciate any fresh idea as what to do next. So I have never had a problem with YouTube up until yesterday, anytime I try to watch a video and click play or anywhere on the video it just has a circle that spins in the middle around a youtube button, or sometimes just a black screen.

I have tried clearing Cookies & Cache, tried in safe mode, tried with a new profile, disabled hardware acceleration, I even uninstalled and re-installed Firefox.

Still for some reason I am unable to watch videos and only on Firefox, it works fine in Chrome and Edge browsers.

I am at a loss on how to fix this, and I really don't want to have to use two browsers for watching videos and navigating the internet.

Any Ideas?

Also my Internet is not the problem, I have Gigabit Fiber.

1. i have firefox on my pc, now i installed it on my laptop 2. synced to my account on laptop 3. the internet went out halfway through the syncing process (only 3 addons or so installed and then it got stuck) so i closed my laptop and forgot about it 4. i opened firefox on my PC and the account synced 5. the addon bar flashed and all the addons except for 3 are now deleted (they are NOT disabled, they are completely gone from the addons page)

I don't remember the name of every addon i had installed but I need them back.

I have just updated firefox 103.0 64bits on my pc windows 10. And bigs bugs : all web pages became huge zoomed at around 150 - 160% !

I managed to fix the huge zoom problem by installing this firefox extension : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/zoom-page-we/?utm_content=addons-manager-reviews-link&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_source=firefox-browser

and setting all web pages to 90% zoom with it. But this is not a solution because firefox has to fix this bug since this update! :(

And the toolbar has become much higher, which decreases my screen height, it was better before! :( See my screenshot where i circled in red the height of the toolbar which has become higher! :(

even the tab bar has become higher! :( i managed to reduce it a little in height thanks to a code that i inserted in the file userChrome.css ,but the result is not beautiful : the texts are too flush with the line ( see my screenshot where i circled in blue the tab bar that i reduced with code in userChrome.css )

Hello. I have had an issue with new tabs not opening in Firefox for about two days. My browser is updated to the latest version. The best way to describe the issue is like this: every time I boot up the browser, everything will be working fine. Then, within 4-5 minutes, tabs will stop opening. Every time I want to open a new webpage in a new or already existing tab, it will get eternally stuck on the loading stage. However, if I have something like a youtube playlist running in one of the tabs, it will switch from video to video with no problem. If I close the browser and try to open in again, it won't open (although I've already figured out that the latest issue can be solved with an administrator mode). Other browsers are working fine and don't have such issue.

I have tried reloading the browser, reloading the computer, cleaning cache/history/cookies, running the browser without any addons, running the debug mode, reinstalling the browser (twice), running the antivirus check, creating a new firefox profile. Nothing helps. Also, the problem persists in the debug mode - when I open it, the pages load for 3-5 minutes and then the tabs stop opening as well.

Please suggest what can I do to fix this issue.

When I installed version 103 on Windows 10 yesterday, the Tabs, address panel row of icons and the onscreen bookmarks icons doubled in size pushing about half of them off screen. Can I get them back to the size the were?

I keep them on screen to facilitate use and work more effectively. Pushing them off screen reduces the effectiveness of Firefox for me. I spent too much time today trying to find options that would allow me to revert to the former format without uninstalling v.103 - without success.

I have followed the fixes. It will work after I "Refresh Firefox" but goes back to not working again. Should I reinstall Firefox? How do I add this site to the exceptions? Thank you

   Try again later.
   Check your network connection.
   If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.

I think I may have accidently pressed a button and made the homescreen giant even though it shows as being at 100%. Does anyone know of a way to return to to normal?

I hardly use tabs, and I have a widescreen notebook. So one of the most important features a browser must have is not to waste vertical space.

Unfortunately, Firefefox has always tab bar open even if there is only one tab.

Fortunately, there is a css code to overcome this problem.

Unfortunately, it does not work with FF 103 anymore. It always shows a "+" sign.

How can I get rid of tab bar now?

I canNOT access outlook.com (using Mac Monterey) - it was working a couple days ago and now all I get is a blank screen. I can access it using Chrome so I'm thinking this is a Firefox browser issue. I'd REALLY like to continue using Firefox but need to access it on the same browser I've been using.
