Hi, I understand that Firefox has already developed a "Snooze Tab" function as part of the old test pilot. I read that experiments are still available for all users, and I wanted to integrate this functionality into my browsing experience. Any guidance on how to do that?

If I search by highlighting text and then right click + 'search google for...' the following link address in the next page always includes the text "client=ubuntu".

As i'm using ubuntu that might not seem strange, but it's strange to me because I use this addon which is supposed to spoof my browser and O/S and also in about config I have: privacy.resistFingerprinting and "privacy.trackingprotection.fingerprinting.enabled"' both set to "true".

Can anyone tell me how google is able to detect this info?

And seeing as the about:config settings dont seem to work... how i'm able to stop it?

I updated my Macbook Air running OS Catalina with Firefox 76.0.1, it is now asking for my mac master password to access my logins in Firefox's password manager? It is unchecked in the preferences section. Is this something to worry about?

I'm using firefox developer edition. The latest version: 76.0b2 I have firefox.cfg set up to overwrite new tab content with locally stored html. The code in firefox.cfg that worked until recent update:

In the browser console there is an error message displayed:

Any idea what that error message means and how to resolve it? Does anything changed regarding new tab overwrite?

Viewing two tabs side-by-side can be very helpful, for example when copying information across. This used to work in older version using the AddOns tiled=tabs/pages. But in FF76 tiled-pages has very limited functionality and does not work for me for any page that requires javascript - so most pages requiring logins are out.

How can I get this very time-saving functionality back?

I did an update to Mozilla 76.0.1 and it included Pocket. I am not sure why now but everytime I log off and back on again I have to log into everything using my passwords. How can I change tis setting and where.

Cannot sign in to my a/c at https://www.kroger.com. Other browsers are successful. Receive the message "We're sorry, an unexpected error occurred during your sign-in attempt. Please try signing in again."

Problem has been constant for close to a couple of years.

I have been trying to figure out why videos that are embedded on certain sites do not show up on Firefox however they show up in Chrome?

I've gone through everything listed here:

A few key notes, even when in safe mode, the video problem still persists. But only on specific websites (squarespace sites). I can see videos through websites like Zoom, Shaw Bluewave, youtube, etc etc. But for some reason on this one site I can't get videos to display to play. Yet when I go to Chrome it's there and fine. So it's an issue with Firefox. I'm not sure how to fix it at this point.

I've unchecked Use recommended performance settings. I've switched the default theme I've disabled extensions (which fixed another issue of not displaying images) I've refreshed Firefox I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox I've checked all my graphics drives (they're all there and working)

At this point I'm not sure what to do. Can you please let me know if you have any recommendations?

I am using Firefox 76.0.1 (64 bit) on a new windows 10 system.

I am on a website that has monthly statements for me and trying to bring the current one up.

If popups are blocked I get a popup error. If popups are NOT blocked, I get nothing other than a quick flicker of the screen.

This website is working fine in Edge.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And neither is the Temporary Containers Addon. I just did fresh brand new initial Firefox install on both the most updated version of Windows 10 and the most recent version of Ubuntu 20.04. All addons appear in the toolbar except these 2. I've tried installing these 2 first. I've tried installing them last, then disabling all the other addons, uninstalling them and reinstalling them. Nothing will make them appear in the toolbar, yet they appear as enabled when they display under the addons > extensions. Also, hitting the extension shortcuts will not bring up the addon interaction screen for any of the addons, e.g. Ctrl U or Ctrl <period> or whatever the relevant shortcut command is. This appears to only be an issue with FRESH Firefox install, because on my other computer running Windows 10 I've had the Multiaccount Containers Addon in the toolbar for 6 months without issue through many older versions of Firefox; and after I updated (rather than fresh install) to this latest version the Multiaccount Containers Addon remains in the toolbar without issue.

Can anyone suggest how I can get theMultiaccount Containers Addon and Temporary Containers Addon to appear in the toolbar? And why are none of the extension shortcuts working - could I be executing them on the wrong screen? I've been trying them on the Addons > Extensions screen.

HI I have just updated FF from a very old version to 77.0b8 (64-bit). My favourite bookmarks bar had coloured (like windows) folder icons, now they are black, bland and horrible. I have tried searching for an add on that changes the folder icon colours, but the search brings up far to many bookmark add ons not related. I have tried many different searches but can't get a result. Does anyone know of a mod/add on, or a way to change the Folder icons colour please? Many thanks for reading.

Ever since Firefox upgraded to version 75, using it has become impossible to use via RDP on Windows Server 2008 R2. The behavior is like Firefox completely hogs down the machine, but more likely seems to be impacting the refresh rate of the RDP session. With Firefox open, mouse begins to trail and button clicks and movement stack up and execute as much as a 5 minute delay at times. Here is what I know so far...

* Specific to Windows Server 2008 R2, tested on multiple VMs on multiple hosts
* Issue not present on Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, or Windows 7
* Size of Firefox window affects performance, leading to validate RDP refresh issue.  If half the screen is Firefox vs the whole screen, the lag is lessened
* Safe Mode immediately resolves the issues
* Safe Mode with all Add-Ons re-enabled still resolves the issue
* Hardware acceleration on or off has no impact
* Downgrading to Firefox 74 resolves the issue (but this could also be because it made me a new profile)

What other details can I provide? Is there anything else I can try? Does this qualify to report a bug on bugzilla?

I have my plugins synced through Firefox Sync. For development I'm using Firefox Developer Edition (FDE).

There are times I do not want to have all plugins en-/disabled in all browser. e.g. I don't need a form filler plugin all the time in my regular FF instance. But I mostly need it all day in the FDE instance.

Problem starts by disabling a plugin in the regular FF instance. Because this disables the plugin through sync in all other instances.

I'm looking for s possibility to disable plugins "locally". So only disable it for the currently running FF instance, and not propagate the state through sync.

A separate "DEV profile" might help, but I don't want to deal with sep. profiles, as the tabs would be synced in this different profile for example.

I can imagine that this is kind of an edge case scenario. But maybe somebody knows a way around this.

a week ago i was able to watch shows on prime video India @ 1080p quality without any issue, i have set the max quality on prime & it used to show 1080 automatically. i have 100Mbps plan. But, now when i try to play the video does not go above HD(720p) it keeps showing HD the whole time. i looked everywhere DRM, html5 and every other possible issue but it didn't solve the problem. i have tried reinstalling FIREFOX, going into the about:config menu, tried Enabling/Disabling ad-ons
