How many tabs that is allowed to send to another device?

I'm trying to move my tabs from my laptop to my PC but it only send 105 tabs while I want to send all the 213 tabs. Even after sending the first 105 tabs, I'm unable to send anymore tabs.

Is there a way to send more than that?

I would like to request a feature that will automatically collapse any add-on not active in the correct tab to fold back into the overflow arrow, simple as that

Well, I guess I have to part from Mozilla. For a long while it was so good, but lately ...

As the title explains, Firefox clears my cookies whenever i open it. not when i close it, but when i open.

the option to clear cookies on close is off, i have no clue why it's doing this, i know it's not an extension or a program. ( at least i hope it's not )

thankfully it always makes a backup but i really don't want to have to through the files and remove the .bak every single time i wanna go through the internet. any advice?

Hello. Since I use the bookmark bar and fullscreen mode a lot, I would like to be able to see the bookmark bar in fullscreen, not on every tab, but only in a new (empty) tab, so that I can avoid disabling fullscreen to access the bookmark bar and at the same time not having any part of the interface visible unless I'm in a new tab. I have been having an issue for quite some time. Firefox will not connect to the web socket for Facebook chat and therefor not allowing a connection to happen. I have cleared all data and re-installed the app, I think it may be a deeper issue than just Firefox because all browsers get the same error.

My touchpad scrolling has stopped working for websites (including the Firefox website!). And when I scroll using the scrollbar on the right, it can only scroll down halfway on the page. Sometimes up and down keys for scrolling do not work. However, I can scroll in Windows with no problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I removed everything from the bookmarks menu that I don't need. Now there is a battery of separators left, consuming menu space. See attached screenshot of German Firefox version.

How to get rid of at least four of those five separators?

Also, it would be great to have all my bookmarks at the top of the menu, while all that stuff I rarely need (Show bookmark sidebar, More bookmarks, Bookmars symbol bar ...) is at the bottom. Is there an way to change that?

My laptop crashed. I got a new one but I cannot remember what my login info is for firefox. I had lots of saved passwords and bookmarks that I need to get back. I tried the two email addresses that I would have used and neither of them can access my old passwords and bookmarks. In fact, with either login I used I get the same saved passwords and the same bookmarks.

I have a 2 hard drive laptop, HP Omen. In an attempt to save space on the primary hard drive I moved Firefox to the secondary drive. It would open after that but no pages will load. I've checked my internet connection, Chrome works just fine, I've restarted my laptop multiple times. I've reinstalled Firefox multiple times as well. No matter what I do, no pages will load. I'm not getting any error messages. I'm made sure that Firefox has been uninstalled from my secondary drive and reinstalled it on my primary but it still won't work. Any suggestions would be of great help.

At my job, they can see the title of any tab that is opened in a browser. They log that.

Is there any configuration in the browser to avoid that ?

I tried tab anonymizer plugin, but it just rename the tab .... so the original site name is logged too.... ';(

Fo sure I can use a vpn, but even so they will pick me using the tab name log ;(

I've always used the "Always ask you where to save files" option when downloading. Recently (beginning of April 2022), files go directly to the Downloads folder. The "Always ask" option is still selected in Settings.

I've tried un-selecting and re-selecting, restarting Firefox, restarting my computer - basically every iteration of 'turn it off and on again' that I can think of.

I've been changing this over many years. Now I have two additional browsers to use so I'm not updating until I can, once again, organize the browser to fit my needs.

When selected open PDF file in Firefox - it opens stream media PDF which is ok, but if file is forced to download - i doesn't save it, just blank popup opens and closes

I need to go to settings to file type associations - choose another PDF program to be able to download but doing so - streamed PDF is now downloading instead if showing inline

This extension, even if it is Firefox's extension, I do not want. It is hindering my ability to get my schoolwork done your browser that I like to use. I really do not want to have to make the complete switch to Edge. I should not have to add this extension that I do not want.

Please tell me how to fix this problem: ever since I allowed Firefox to upgrade, I cannot load pages for banks/credit card accounts. I can do it on my Apple phone and IPad. So I believe it is a Firefox problem. I prefer using my desk top computer to pay bills. Please help me sort this out. I will change browsers if you can't help me. I'm not being snarky, just very upset that your upgrade did this to me. I am a 81 years young senior female, so please don't get to techy with the answer, keep it simple for this old brain. So even on a unprotected machine, some webpages VERY slow to load but not all. My internet provider, Virginmedia, is also my email provider and sometimes this email homepage times out. Had the same problem with win 10 and did think, wrongly, that installing win 11 would cure this. It did not. Any ideas on this. A good friend is a computer tech so you can get technical. In `task manger` anti virus etc has been stopped.

i recently lost my computer to destruction. i have a number of files saved by Mozilla backup on a thumbdrive. i have several backup files dating from 2014 all the way until now. after re-installing Firefox on a new computer, i tried MozBackup to restore my old Firefox from the latest file dated a coupla of months ago this year. the files have names like Firefox 16.0.2 (en-US) - 2013-01-05.pcv or .pfc. when i tryt and load it into backup it saysit isn't a valid backup file. how can i get this to work?
