Hi! I just wanted to log out from Sync on another machine. I have a master password set. When i want to logout, it asks for the Masterpw. Anyone else thinking, this is bad, from a security point of view? Let's just say, you found a shady site or installed a shady plugin, or someone is shouldersurfing you maybe under pressure. The "Logout and delete everything" would not be possible without giving out your master PW seems a bit awkward.

Whenever I type something in the URL bar that starts with the word "amazon," instead of getting a Google search for what I typed, I get redirected to Amazon.com with whatever I typed as a product search. For example, if I type "amazon sucks" in Firefox's URL bar, instead of getting a Google search for the phrase "amazon sucks," I get an Amazon page with the word "sucks" pre-filled in Amazon's product search (and a screen full of socks).

I don't have a search keyword for "amazon" in my Firefox settings. As far as I can tell, no other magic word does the same thing. (For example, if I type "yahoo sucks" or "walmart sucks," I get the desired Google searches. I don't get redirected to a Yahoo or Walmart page.

How do I turn this behavior off?

It seems Firefox is getting worse and worse. I am now back to pages loading very slowly. My IT guys say firefox is [redacted] and go to chrome or something else but i hate transferring bookmarks. WHY can't you stabilize your [redacted] browser. Yours is the only browser my PC runs into trouble with. Makes me [redacted] furious.

I upgraded to Firefox 115.0.2. Now I can log into my T-Mobile account. But when I try to access 'Bill & Pay' or 'View Accounts' I now get "Access Restricted" error messages. This is frustrating as I was able to do so before. Clearing Cookies and Site Data provided no relief. T-Mo support had me try in in Private Browsing, and it works.

I had an issue with a bank, and turned off AVG Anti-Track and it work. But no so with T-Mo.

Earlier this week we learned about the Ghostscript vulnerability (CVE-2023-36664) and since the security of the systems and data we support is our highest priority, we would like to ensure that the software you provide is not affected by this vulnerability.

Can we please get some feedback regarding the following questions:

1. does Mozilla Firefox use the Ghostscript library with a version older than 10.01.2?

If this is the case, please answer the following questions:

2. is there already a patch, update or plan to fix the problem?

3. if there is or is planned to be a patch, when is it expected to be available and how will users be notified?

4. are there any specific actions or temporary fixes we can take to minimize the risk until a final fix is available?

As of a month or so ago I have been unable to watch age restricted videos on YT. The warning prompt appears asking me to verify that I want to proceed. When clicked, it simply takes me back to the YT home page. Restricted mode is set to off and I am able to watch these videos in Internet Explorer with the same Google account. I have also ran FF in safe mode and it still takes me back to the home page.

I have exported my bookmarks from a pc, several dozen. I want to import a few of them but don't want to overwrite all of my existing bookmarks on the 2nd pc. How can I do this?

I recently had to get a new hard drive for my computer as my old one no longer functioned. The problem is that when I opened my firefox browser I was not prompted to restore my last session and all of my tabs and windows are now gone. Is there a way to reset the browser to a previous date so that I can restore all of my tabs?

When loading a page I work on, I sometimes see something like this:

14:54:44.103 Error in parsing value for ‘margin’. Declaration dropped. instantiate_obj.php (With a yellow-ish triangle with an exclamationmark in front of it)

The warning is clear: somewhere in the html/css a faulty margin-value is used.

But how to find out where, or what causes it?

Is it something inline, an external CSS, something dynamically added by javascript?

What I tried:

1)  Clicking on the link on "instantiate_obj.php" just opens a tab in "view-source:" mode.

Not very useful. I don't see any problems on quick inspection, but the page is pretty big. I want something easier than checking everything in the source and the linked CSS.

2) Looking at the timestamp (14:54:44.103) I see it ends in 103. Maybe a linenumber?

3) Searching https://developer.mozilla.org didn't shed any light on how to approach this problem.

I can only find out references on how to do it when you see the yellow-ish triangle in inspector, in the second pane (css with that 'filter styles' on top) I already checked my external stylesheet and it came out fine.

Does anybody know how to find out what caused the warning?

I received a message from Fire Fox that I should update. Now I have 2 Fire Fox icons and I need to know how to determine which one to delete. Then I need to know how to transfer my favorites and history to the one I keep. They both show favorites and history. I'm a rookie at this so if you can explain step by step it would help, thanks.

Often, when software I use updates, it will force Firefox open without my permission, to take me to their website. I don't want this or need this. Is there a setting to make Firefox reject any attempts by other software to open a Firefox tab?

Hello there

I have been having some problems with mozilla firefox from some time.

Some web-sites do not open whilst I have no problems with opening them in any other browser. Other example: Google maps bei opening show always my home location, but whichever place I type in the search box, it does not show it at all. Any idea what can cause this trouble?

Windows 10 operating system, I have Norton 360. Web page loading has been slow. Now, it won't load any pages. Cleared cache, changed the HTTP3 setting to false, I disabled hardware acceleration option.

I ran a Norton scan, no problems, I did disc defrag, nothing helps, I can't use my computer to access the internet. Not a router problem, my streaming all works as it should and I can use wifi to get e-mail using my phone and tablet etc....

Appreciate any suggestions.
