Firefox is not detecting my location correctly. I am in living in Idaho, NOT living in Utah and never have lived in Utah. For some reason you detect my location in error.

I am trying to add a password to the password manager for a specific URL like https://example.com/page. However after I save the password it save it to the address https://example.com and removes /page. Is there a way to change this?

Since the last firefox update, I cannot access the data at https://12580.portal.athenahealth.com/ . When I log in I get a graphic "can't load page". See attached file. Enhanced security is off and exception is set for this site. Popup blocker is off for this site.

When I visit the web site virtueonline.org using Firefox browser, the Disqus comment section does not appear below articles on the site. Sometimes, when I go in and out of the article, the Disqus comment section will appear, but not always. When I use Microsoft Edge, the Disqus comment sections appear.

I sold my Macbook, Signed out and Reset Firefox, and yet the new owner still has all my passwords saved in Firefox.

Why make it so difficult and unsafe? Reset should mean reset. period.

I keep getting pop ups warning me that Firefox is infected with viruses and I need to download and pay for a McAfee security program. How do I stop the pop ups? My computer's protection does not indicate a problem. Can Firefox be infected?

First of all, thank you for your service!

I get a ton of notifications about viruses, etc. from Mozilla, and from McAfee via Mozilla. I have purchased virus protection, etc. from Avast, and am not receiving these notifications from them, so I assume, especially in the case of McAfee, that these are scares/warnings with the hope of sales. Also, these notification boxes are un-openable, and the sender looks like a fraudulent email.

Any light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated!!

when trying to access our online banking with servus credit union it blocks access yet we can access it using firefox on our laptop or our phones this has been going on for about a month now and I would like to get it straightened out .

I am a long time user of Firefox (I remember the Netscape days...) Recently, I have come across rumblings about Firefox privacy defaults. At first i dismissed it as the usual whinging, but then i started to see what appears to almost be forks of Firefox. I have already ditched Thunderbird because of their nonsensical thread defaults. Surely, Firefox with its privacy focus wouldn't be making privacy decisions from collaboration with other browser companies like google & Microsoft? One of the early really great privacy innovations was in containers, but it is still an extension. Why? Because of the architecture of Chrome, its is not possible to have containers in chrome engined browsers. So is that why Mozilla didn't progress containers? Did the money from Google for default search engine (shame on you Mozilla) come with strings attached? I came across Librewolf which mostly use the Firefox code but with much more stringent privacy defaults, and with bundled ad blocker as part of the default installation. How can it claim to be more privacy focused than Firefox when it uses Firefox code? Firefox is supposedly the privacy focus browser so why is it following what Chrome and Edge do? They will NEVER gain lost market share by watering down their privacy settings which is the reason to even exist. It just antagonizes users like me. Or is that the point, a nice easy progression till oblivion and we all then accept an advertisement riddled internet.

While waiting on my Bank website to load (was very slow) why did Waiting on www.facebook.com show at the bottom the whole time? I did a screen shot.

How can I completely block Facebook from accessing my system through firefox?

Getting repeated Firefox popups saying a virus has been detected attempts to connect me to McAfee security. My Windows Defender says there is no virus but the popups reappear when I've close them. I did a firefox refresh to no avail

I have a notification from 'Mozilla Monitor' (breach-alerts@mozilla.com) that "Mozilla Monitor found your email in a data breach'. It then says 'Compromised data: Device information, Email addresses, IP addresses, NAmes, Passwords, Phone numbers, and Purchases'.

Is this genuine or some kind of scam?

Recently, I have noticed that when using Firefox, if I try to view an embedded YouTube video on sites that I visit regularly, instead of the embedded video playing, I now get a message on the video window that says, "Sign-in to confirm you are not a Bot. However, there is no option to 'sign-in', so I am not able to view the video. (screenshot attached)''

I did a little testing and discovered 2 things which I thought were noteworthy:

1) If I turned-off my VPN (Norton), then the embedded video plays in Firefox without any issues.

2) If I access the same site within the Chrome browser then the embedded video play regardless of whether I have the VPN service On or Off.

Strange, but true !!

I cannot find any Firefox Settings that address this issue.

Any clues?
