‘I had Firefox years ago with a now defunct email address. I reinstalled the app using my current address but it continually asks for my OLD password (which is lost). How can I get rid of the password request’ for ‘Firefox’

I want to know know how I can get back my Firefox account, if: 1. your sending a code to the hacked email 2. your sending a code to a old phone number I no longer have 3. your just like your big sister google that don't care about your customers 4. if you cared about your customers then you would help them get back their accounts instead of relying on uneducated, no access to my account, stupid community, that is useless because they cannot do anything because they do not work for google or Firefox. they are check blue check mark for participating only. no customer service just a bunch of words on a screen that does not help us get our accounts back just because you and google thought it would be okay to save on money for your fat bank accounts. screw the customers most don't pay for your services, but if it wasn't for us your company would not exist and get the advertisers because you show what millions or billions of users, but who cares because your making money and it doesn't matter about those free users. or their accounts..

Hello. I just bought a new computer and I wanted to transfer my digital certificate from the old computer, but it doesn't work. I find my certificate and click backup. I select the destination folder, name and set the password. When I ok it say (translated from Slovenian) "Backup could not be done for unknown reasons". Any ideas? The free virgin.net email service was shut down without notice about 2 years ago so I can no longer receive the verification code to cahnge it in my Firefox account. Is there another method to change the email address registered with Firefox?

However, when seeing this version connecting to supposed "legitimate" locations seems to be harmless.

I have seen a comment that "Mozilla Firefox versions follow a specific numbering convention, and any version starting with "4.08" would be highly suspicious and likely not an official release. Beginning this evening, I can no longer log in to my online google account.

I keep getting asked for "Two-Step Verification", but this doesn't work: I give a 'phone number, but my phone never rings. I once received a "Google verification Code" of [removed], but that didn't work, either.

I DO NOT WANT "2-step verification"; I don't need any special login protection.

How do I eliminate 2-step verification? It starts with "Sign in to keep your new Google News and get news based on your interests. ... Sign In", but never allows me to sign in!

So recently I made a purchase via a website with my credit card. Was a one time purchase and I want the credit card data to be deleted, but it keeps auto filling the form even after I deleted all cookies, browser history, cache and everything else. I searched forums that there is auto-fill credit card & address options but only in US and Canada and I am in Europe.

How do I delete this data stored in Firefox since it keeps auto-filling it even after I contacted the billing support to delete my information.

No matter what I try, I can't allow any sites to present my screen or a window, I can't find an option in settings neither in the option to allow in the tab. The "allow" button is simply not available at all. How do I solve that? The problem happens in all sites that I've tried: focusmate, cofocus, discord, google meet, etc

I have frequently seen website privacy notices which tell me that I can ask my browser to tell me when they try to set a cookie. I have never seen any browser that actually does this, and I have never found any way to get Firefox to do it. Quite a few sites don't work correctly if I set strong cookie protection. I don't want to disable this, but I would like to allow a cookie to be set if I think that particular cookie is acceptable to me. In particular one bank that I use has it web site spread across multiple domains and as a result its "remember me" login option doesn't work with third party cookies disabled: I presume that this is because it tries to set a cookie on a domain which is also owned by that bank but is different from the domain of the login page.

Allowing third party cookies per-site would not be enough because many sites use third party scripts which try to set their own cookies to track users across different sites. IMHO this breaches the GDPR, but the regulators aren't willing to do anything about it.

I can see what cookies have been set using the Cookie Quick Manager extension, but that only tells me after the event, and then only if I look. It isn't practical to look after every interaction.

Can we please have an option (preferably per-site or per-container) which allows a user to intercept each attempt to set a cookie and decide whether to allow it.

I get this message when trying to update and also when trying to Download Firefox as suggested: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_KEY_PINNING_FAILURE The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. I am trying to contact "the owners" so they can fix this problem. If you can get this message to someone who can make it possible for me to do my Update, I thank you.
