Hello, my WIN 10 Drive got busted, meaning I can not boot with it anymore. However, with an other WIN10 drive I still can access the data. I need to save all the Firefox bookmarks before I will format the Drive and install a fresh WIN10. All the searches just tell how to backup when Firefox is open or Win is running: Press WIN Key... etc. None of them is applicable. I have I have bookmarks saved as bookmarks as well as I have a lot on the upper bar. I need them all.

Please teach me how I can back them up and restore on a fresh Firefox. In previous crashes I lost a lot of bookmarks already. ' Thank you.

My pc runs on Windows 10. I've always had my bookmarks in a column on the left side of my screen. Yesterday I was unable to access my BT acount - which includes my emails via Firefox, wich is my default browser. BT Helpdesk suggested I try another browser - and sure enough I could acces the BT data using Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge. However my preference is to continue to use Firefox, and all other bookmarks worked witih Firefox, as did any other searches. The BT Helpdesk then talked me through resetting Firefox to Default - which worked in enabling me access my BT acount - and my emails - but my bookmarks are now lined up at the top of my Firefox screen and I've spent / wasted ages trying to get them back to the left side.

I recently had to reformat my PC. Prior to this, I made sure to sync my bookmarks with my Firefox account. However, after logging back in, post format, I'm finding it impossible to retrieve any of my previous data, neither passwords nor bookmarks.

I followed the recommended procedures to recover my data, but to no avail. This data is very important to me, and I'm not sure what to do next.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for your time and help in advance.

I am trying to search for a specific bookmark, but am not allowed to because the Firefox browser always crashes, whenever I attempt to search in the Bookmark Manager for it.... I am unfortunately losing my enthusiasm for Firefox as a browser, as they seem to keep getting more and more unreliable. It has been my browser of choice for several years, but with each new version, it gets less and less trustworthy, and I am confused by this. What, now I cannot even search for a bookmark, without it crashing to desktop??

I like when I open a bookmark, that I am not forced to view it right away. This can be VERY annoying when opening multiple bookmarks but I want to stay on my current one without having to switch back to the one I was using. I would like an option added at least to have bookmarks in that automatically switch to when opening. Please.

Just bought a new laptop and sync'd my Firefox account. Please, oh, please tell me I'm not going to have to visit ~2,000 bookmarked sites to update all the favicons.

Can someone help me find my old bookmarks that I have had for years? I followed directions posted but nothing is working. All of my history was cleared also. The toolbar folders are there but everything is empty

I spent last week at the bench and now when I open my Firefox browser, I discovered that all my bookmarks have disappeared. The folders are there but not the bookmarks. I tried to restore my last backup which was on July 7 this year but the backup failed to restore. I had over 11 MB. What is wrong? How can I restore my lost bookmarks? These bookmarks have information that I will need in the next days.

I have a Gateway Computer and I had to re-install Windows 10. So, when I did, my Firefox Mozilla Browser was gone. My Gateway was old, so I bought new HP Desktop Computer and I like to Install the Firefox Mozilla Browser back on my new computer, but I like to see if I could get back everything that was on my Task Bar Favorite and whatever else I had on my old account. I do have an ID and Password sign in for Firefox and keep in mind that on my Gateway I had Windows 10 and on my new HP I have Windows 11 and that is the one I'm using now. I have lots of bookmarks, which I organise into folders and subfolders. In the last month or so, Firefox will no longer save them to the folder I specify from the pull-down menu when saving but just adds them to the general bookmarks menu. To sort my bookmarks, I have to go into Manage Bookmarks and move them manually. What's happened?

My previous version of Firefox was on the fritz and I was afraid there was malware in it so I uninstalled it. When I reinstalled it I realized all my bookmarks were missing and I can't figure out how to restore them from my profile or a previous backup. Please help! Thank you.

how do i change the books marks menu from showing recent bookmarks to showing the traditional bookmark list including folders? tired of having to hunt for my bookmarks. this setup is the dumbest thing ive seen.

I've had this problem off and on for the past month or so. I've read through every related question and tried all solutions presented without any luck.

When I press the star next to the address bar it turns blue, but no bookmark is actually created. When I press the star again it remains blue. No dialogue box shows up. When I right click on the open tab I get a grayed out dialogue box. I *can* bookmark several tabs at once, but that's it.

I've tried changing the preferences in aboug:config to true/false and back again. I've renamed/deleted the favicons folders. I've restarted both firefox and my computer. I'm running in safe mode with no extensions. This happend once about a month ago and resolved itself. Now it's back and doesn't seem to be going away.

PLEASE help. I've tried all the solutions mentioned here before but nothing is helping. :(
