Hello there! I'm a long time fan of firefox and use it on all of my devices. I've NEVER had issues with it but for some reason on my computer that has Windows 11 it's been crashing quite a bit.

To clarify, I'll be surfing like always but when I have maybe a third tab (usually youtube) up, then everything just STOPS. This happens at least ONCE a day or sometimes twice. Then, I have to quit firefox forcefully (which windows does say it'll get the crash report). Yet, I never get a crash report from firefox or any such message despite that I do have it checked in my settings.

No other browser I have on this computer has ANY issue (chrome nor edge--both work fine. It's just firefox).

The thing is, I've been all over the internet about this. I've scanned my computer with both windows defender and malwarebytes--found nothing no matter how deeply I scanned. Re-installed firefox several times. Refreshed it as well. Uninstalled/re-installed my extensions. Unchecked 'use hardware acceleration when available.' I updated my drivers, etc. etc.

The only thing that 'seemed' to work was creating a new profile here on firefox. After doing that, I could surf for a whole DAY or two without a crash. But then suddenly today it crashed like normal (again when I was on youtube). I haven't tried using firefox in safemode to see if it crashes because the crashes are random and could happen at any time in the day. Just seems like a lot of time in safemode when I need to be working.

Please advise! All of my other computers (either on windows 10 or on mac/android) have ZERO issues. Once more, this computer handles chrome/microsoft edge just fine but for some reason my windows 11 computer is having trouble with firefox (and firefox ONLY) no matter what I do. I hope you can help and also help me understand why firefox doesn't seem to have any crash reports for me when it HAS crashed several times.

I use firefox synch (on 2 notebooks, 1 mobile device) with an outlook email adress, yet when I for example go on youtube my android gmail adress ist automatically filled in. Which is quite strange because it is neither stored in the firefox password manager nor did I give authorization to do so. I am using the lates version of Firefox (v.122.0.1).

Does anyone know why this happens?

Got a new MAC Trying to delete old bookmarks but no go. The old bookmarks used to be in "Other bookmarks" but now they only show up in "All bookmarks" and the Star will not let me activate the Delete Bookmark button

I have been using Zoho CRM for 1 year, and for the last 6 months, there is no way I can correctly automatically log into my account with saved credentials. Those have to be fully reenter each time. It just won't save my email, winch is the account name and Firefox seems not able to propose me the saved credential, even if it is saved correctly.

I've tried several ways to correct this, like deleting the credentials or deleting browser data, it just won't save my credential for quick login.

I have also reached the Zoho team, and they quickly recommend talking with Mozilla community/support to see if the problem was on their side.

When attempting to log in to websites that require a "reCAPTCHA" response I continually receive the message "Cannot contact reCAPTCHA. Check connection and try again" Have confirmed that the connection is ok and when switching to "Microsoft Edge" it works normally. Is there perhaps a setting in my browser that could be causing the problem as it used to work ok? Regards, Lawrence

I AM UNABLE TO LOG ON TO USAA.COM. THE ERROR MESSAGE SAYS "WE ARE UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH YOU RE REQUEST." THE WEB SITE CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS THE SITE IS WORKING AND MY PASSWORD IS CORRECT. PER THEIR ADVISE ALL HISTORY/CASHES HAS BEEN DELETED AND THE COMPUTER HAS BEEN RESTARTED. THE SAME PROBLEM EXISTS ON ANOTHER DEVISE CONNECTED TO THE SAME WI-FI. PLEASE HELP. ACCESS TO OTHER SITES ARE WORKING. THE SITE IS NOT BLOCKED AS FAR AS I CAN TELL

So, there's an extension I want to pin, right? It has no menu, meaning that it's grayed out usually. However, the website it's supposed to affect does not get affected. That is, unless I were to refresh the site, then quickly move my mouse to the extensions menu, open it, and show the extension.

My computer isa Dell al in one, with With Windows 10, everything is UP TO DATE. I have Malewarebytes & Microsofts security prograams installed and appear to work. That said when I opem Firefox browswe, then go to either my compuserve ot gmail accont to write emails, I constantly get this message which is VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! Any suggestions??? ThankYou

Double page (side-by-side) viewing of PDF documents in Firefox (Windows), involves:

   go to View in the top menu, select Page Display, and choose “Two-Up”

How do you view such double pages in Firefox (Mac), since it seems not to have a "Page Display" facility?

When I scroll up or down on the touchpad in firefox, it is like I scroll past a certain threshold, and it then sends a "scroll up" or "scroll down" command.

When I do this is Chromium, it's like I'm moving the website with my fingers. Similar to how it would be on a touch screen. In other browsers, the scrolling is not discrete, but continuous.

I love firefox, but this is driving me mad when I'm browsing. Is there any fix for this?

I have to create a new question because when I try to reply to the answers I received the system comes up with an error page.

My version of Firefox is 120.0.1 and has been downloaded from the Mozilla website.

The problems occurs with all PDF file both local and from the internet.

The attachments are highlighted in blue in t he opened PDF file but cannot be opened. There is no way to click on the attachments.

I have Ooma as my phone provider. I can't get into Ooma's login site because I get this message at every try:

"The page isn't redirecting properly"

I occasionally get this message when opening Firefox, but a retry always works. Not when trying to get into my Ooma account. And yet it works without any problem on Safari. I would prefer to use Firefox.

Since the most recent couple of updates, I'm running into quite a high number of webpage breakdowns: unresponsive click buttons, inability to do payments, etc. I've been having to resort to (gasp) Microsoft Edge quite often. Anyone seen this? Have any fixes? Thanks

I've noticed that when I use my VPN the Broadband data volume measured by my Glasswire traffic meter software monitor is doubled. I've tested it numerous times, and when I download a file it appears to download it automatically to Cloudfare as the volume is almost the exact double of the file size and double the amount as measured through my VPN. Could this problem be associated with the DNS over HTTPS feature. I've changed this setting so that Cloudfare doesn't load anything automatically, but there is no change. Is there another automatic Cloud setting I should change or could this problem be independent of Firefox. Thank you. -Reply to moderator Co-rel "answer": @Co-rel, You are not answering my question. And are you inferring there could be a bug in my Firefox version and I would need to debug it myself? I am asking if there is a default setup in association with Cloudfare which would record all of my traffic and/or downloads. I've canceled the default DNS to HTTPS Cloudfare default. Is there another automatic default service clouding to Cloudfare storing our data automatically built-in Firefox? My Traffic and Data Monitor Glasswire records or measures my traffic as anticipated when I browse without using my VPN. But when I use the VPN the data count is doubled and what newly appears on the register is the URL of Cloudfare which is the same size approximately as the file downloaded, doubling the traffic. I tested by isolating a simple maneuver of downloading a single 150 Mb file. I did it twice with the same result. I did the same thing twice with a 1 Gb file last Wednesday, got the same results.

I could not Copy and Paste a Bookmark until after closing and restarting Firefox 122.0.1. I have had a similar problem before and wanted to report this.

I included a screen shot after closing and restarting Firefox and I was able to perform the copy and paste the Bookmark. I was trying to copy the Bookmark titled FDA approves Xolair to treat . . . to the Allergies folder but could not, again until after closing and restarting Firefox.

Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit Firefox. Firefox has crashed daily for the last week. Firefox and windows are up to date. Latest crash report is bp-d098dc67-4cd0-4bfa-a9ed-94d1d0240218. Any idea what is happening? What other information is needed?
