For some reason, IDM will not work in Firefox/DuckDuckGo. even though it worked a couple of weeks ago. I contacted IDM support who have tried everything they have, but no change.

Here is the issue: 1. I open Firefox (Duck Duck Go is my default) (132.0.2 (64-bit) 2. I type "vintage sci fi movies" 3. Click on "videos" 4. Pick any movie (example: The Phantom Planet (black and white but this does not matter) 5. In the Choose How you Watch, I click the left icon - Watch Here, and not Watch on YouTube; also click Remember my choice 6. The movie starts but there is no IDM dialogue 7. If I then click Watch on YouTube inside the movie, it switches to YouTube and the movie starts, AND the IDM dialogue pops up.

As I said, this worked in Firefox/DDG a couple of weeks ago.

IDM version is 6.42 Build 23, full (paid for) version Oct 15 2024 The IDM Integration Module in Firefox shows as Version 6.42.22, last updated Oct 28 2024.

I'm not getting any audio come out from firefox. I've tried other applications and I'm getting sound across the board. All media is playing just fine everywhere else except my firefox browser. I made sure to refresh firefox, performed a full computer restart but I'm still not getting any sounds.

Good morning, after today's FF update - right click dropdown menus are terrible! Nothing works for me... Opening new windows, new tabs, adding to bookmarks, copying, pasting, etc... How can I turn it off because I can't use it. I need to have a menu like in version 133.0.3. If I can't change it, I will have to change the browser because I can't use it! Been using Firefox since the 90s and been on Mac since 2000s. This problem has been happening for about a year, throughout three macbooks (my old one, a temp one, and my new one) and multiple Firefox updates. I'm always updated and always clear cookies daily.

The failure to move bookmarks I can overcome by rebooting Firefox with a Forced Quit. If I only have to do this every few weeks, then no biggy reinserting all my passwords for all the different sites I use (and no, I don't want to use password managers, I don't trust them)

Today it happened within hours of Force Quitting Firefox, this is too much!!!

The only reason I didn't report this problem earlier is I simply expected an eventual newer version of Firefox to fix this bug.

Normal behaviour: click-drag bookmark within bookmark menu pull-down to position where I want bookmark Failure behaviour: click-drag fails to move bookmark, until I reboot Firefox, then it works again

since i downloaded Firefox 135, my mouse wheel defaults to one line at a time and no matter how many times i change it defaults to one line at a time at the next startup.

Along with many other Firefox users, I have a long-term problem with a PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR in Firefox. How can Mozilla Support fix this problem for me? Can you send a link with the solution, or something?

I am getting Secure Connection failed Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR is there a way to bypass this. I tried 5 suggestions on YouTube and followed FireFox's directions for Avast, with no success.

I installed various extensions that were always visible on the Firefox page but suddenly they disappeared and cannot get any to show. Firefox is up to date, extensions have been disabled and then enabled, and removed and reinstalled.

Win 10.0.19045 , Firefox 131.0. For the last week or so Firefox has crashed out several times a day. What has changed to make this happen, and how can it be prevented?

The task bars on the top keep disappearing from my screen whenever I move my mouse away from hovering over them, I want to know how to stop and to keep them constantly on the screen at all times.

How do you set up two separate bookmark files? I want to be able to use separate bookmark files for two different people using the same PC and be able to switch between them depending who is using the PC.

Since today there is a severely unwanted feature included in firefox: the list all tabs button. It is ugly, bloated and gets in the way. There does not seem to be a reasonable way to remove this "feature".

I find the inclusion exceedingly intrusive and grating. How do I roll back to a previous version of FF? I was quite happy with my minimalist bars and this button takes up an excessive amount of space without providing ANY useful function. Preferably I would be allowed to remove the button entirely, but until then I would like to look at a UI that doesn't take up excessive space for no reason.

Focusing on making my experience with Firefox worse is not a winning move.

Firefox consumes a lot of memory resources for inactive tables. in other browsers there's a feature to disable processing of inactive tables does Mozilla have such feature in their roadmap? if so, then when it can be expected?
