Hi All,

I am planning to get a new computer and I am wondering if I can use Sync to migrate all my numerous bookmarks and passwords over to the new PC?

Or do I need to export all this info into a file or files and then load that on my computer?

Also if I can use Sync to move all my bookmarks and passwords over... can I store this information on the hard drive of the new pc or is it stored on the cloud?

I am attempting to perform a 2 steps verification.

Firefox is asking me: "Open your authentication app and enter the security code it provides." What "Authentication app"?? On my Mac? On my iPhone? I have been unable to figure out what Firefox means.

I have tried a number of those apps, but none of the codes was accepted (Authenticator, Google's Authenticator, iDnow).

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. /Boris D.

Once again my account is locked on one of my computers. It says the email was returned but there was no email sent to the address. Oddly, the account is locked on one machine, the one that has been logged on the longest, but my other three machines have no trouble connecting and syncing. This seems to have happened after firefox updated itself (even though I had it set not to. It also removed all the settings I had spent a considerable amount of time customizing)

I'm trying to sync my firefox account but everytime it appears, I have already did what it ask me to do in "Firefox Sync Verification Email FAQs" what do I do now? I need my bookmarks, GOD PLEASE.

Just now,I am no longer able to download youtube videos with Firefox . I contacted Savefromnet,and they tell me you no longer support their coding?? Any info on this please. Uasing version 82.0

When I go to sign in, The confirmation email we sent to sxxxx1@gmail.com was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data. I can't reset Your email was just returned. What the heck is going on? My password is correct i use roboform password manager

I am not sure what has happened but I had tons of passwords saved in my Mozilla browser. I have been using this since 2019 or 2020 and saved all of my passwords there. What happened is I was using my laptop and wasn't aware that the charger is not plugged in. While working my device turned off because of no battery. I connected the charger and restarted my device like normal. After I opened my browser(Mozilla Firefox) and ctrl+shift+t to open all the recently closed tabs, I was amazed to see that it restored many old sites like 1.5 month old websites instead of the one's which I was using. However, the recently closed one's were showing in the history. I opened the tabs from history that I needed and started using it normal. I have using Mozilla Firefox for good 2 years I never felt the need to remember any of my passwords. Everytime I have to create an account on any of the sites I just create a password once, at the time of sign up only and then click on SAVE PASSWORD so I don't have to remember it. I am guessing this is the normal practice that everyone does or may be a cast majority. I was doing my routine work, I tried to login to my account using the same way like you put in your email in the email section and then click on password section and select the user/email you want to use a password for and sign in. BUT TODAY WHEN I FOLLOWED THE SAME PROCEDURE, IT DOESN'T SHOW ME ANY SAVED PASSWORD WHICH WAS QUITE SURPRISING TO ME. I OPENED THE PASSWORD MENU FROM THE TOP RIGHT AND I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT THERE WE ZERO, LITERALLY ZERO SAVED PASSWORDS. I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS BECAUSE THOSE WERE SO MANY PASSWORDS LIKE SERIOUSLY SO MANY.

I just received my new MacBook Air and am trying to use the synch to synch the above-referenced items from my old MacBook Pro. I am NOT synching to a phone. Each time I choose to not continue w/a QR code or SMS message, I'm taken to a screen about FF Monitor and am never able to enter "another device", which is where I began, "Connect another device" - any assistance or work around will be gladly appreciated. I only want to sync my bookmarks FROM my Windows desktop TO my android tablet. I do not want my desktop bookmarks disturbed or changed in any way. Is this possible?

I am trying to update the primary email associated with my Firefox account. My primary email is listed as <primary@domain.name>, for example. My secondary email is not assigned. When I try to add <preferred.email@domain.name> to my secondary email, I get the message: "Secondary email must be different than your account email"

I do not see this "account email" listed anywhere. Where do I find it, and how can I change it?

I've been using Firefox to store logins and passwords and manage bookmarks on one computer for 10 years+. I always just opened a browser, clicked "tools" then went to my saved passwords. Today I got a new computer and wanted to sync with my Firefox from the old computer. The old computer is asking for a Firefox password, which I don't have (I've tried everything I can think of but I set it 10 years ago). I searched for help online and tried setting a "Master Password." Now, despite entering the EXACT password I selected, it is saying it's wrong and I'm locked out of all of my saved logins on the original computer as well.

I have a secondary email but nothing seems to generate a recovery email (yes, I am stupid and didn't enable recovery key and now I cannot do it because I don't have the password). Is there any way for me to get back into my saved logins? I am using the old computer to work from home and cannot complete any work now. The company sent me a brand new laptop, but all of my logins and passwords are on the old computer tha now wants a master password.

Is there a way for me to test out passwords without having to wait 15 minutes after testing out a few? I lost my password but there are usually a few combinations so I've been trying to brute force it but it just doesn't workout. Thankfully I have a backup profile but it is rather old and I'd like to sync stuff to that account but I also don't want to wipe my data because I have quite a few new bookmarks and things I keep to remind myself of stuff (I have way too many bookmarks).
