I have long used Firefox as my main browser. Yesterday afternoon (2/10/22) Firefox seemed to totally forget me 1)would not respond to Google 2)lost stored info for me like my facebook page, email entry, volleytalk, etc. 3)general question is that Firefox seems to frequently have changes to its program...if user does not want it, Firefox is relentless in asking for approval of change, asking over and over and over

(Whilst trying to remmeber not to close them all: otherwise back to Re-start PC). Is this anothe dastadly trick from Microsoft Edge? I hate it!

Cannot connect via FireFox

For the last 3 days I have been unable to connect to net via Firefox.

I've changed nothing on my end, so don't know what the problem could be.

Prior to 2/09/2022 everthing was working as it should. Now when I try to log on the only think I get is a blank screen with just the Firefox logo in upper left corner and blank search box.

Have tried uninstall/reinstall. Don't know what else I can do. It shows that the firewall is allowing access. I can access net via IE or other site, just not via Firefox.

Would deeply appreciate any help that can be offered.

Two days ago I turned my computer on and went to my favorite browser. I have it attached to my task bar so I clicked waited for a bit then nothing happened. I clicked again noticed I hade the search thinking spinner. Nothing happened. Browser would not load up. i used the desktop icon and the icon in the start menu with no luck. very well next step reboot the computer, Nothing. Last resort un-install and reinstall but there is a refresh button before the uninstall began, I do this with no luck... I un-install go to the website on chrome and download then reinstall. I have since reinstalled twice more and the best I get is after the re-install i get the home page click settings add my desired home page and that is as far as I can get the browser to go.

Please tell me you know what's wrong and how to fix it.

Windows Event viewer shows Firefox has crashed but Firefox does not show it. Attempting to troubleshoot the problem. This started 2/8/2022. After reinstalling Firefox the event viewer is no longer reporting crashes so the event viewer reports I am including are from yesterday before anything was done. Tried doing a refresh, clearing cash and history and temp files, uninstalling Firefox and reinstall a fresh copy. Tried all of the troubleshooting instructions I could find on the site. In normal mode I cannot open any pages including the Firefox settings, Add-on or any other pages except Help, About and troubleshooting pages. All I get no matter what I put in the URL field is a blank page. No Error or message of any kind.

Dear Sir:

   Over the past two days I have had problems with Foxfire browser not opening websites.  I have cleared history, refreshed, uninstalled and reinstalled the browser several times. This is a problem with both my laptop and my desktop. The desktop will not even arrive at the opening screen.  Microsoft Edge works.  AOL works. I have screened for viruses.  The tabs are blank and they keep churning.
     I am running Windows 10 on both computers. I have gone thru the Control panel series of steps to make sure Foxfire is enabled properly with Windows 10 firewall.
     I can get to the opening screen of Foxfire, but none of my bookmarks work.
    For instance, I can sometimes access Yahoo Finance, but only when I open and close tabs that don't work several times using the box links to the several common websites featured in the opening screen for Foxfire. When I do the same routine with the Pocket recommended links the tabs open but just keep churning.
   When I try to open Fidelity.com, neither clearing history, nor accessing through a Google Search nor from my favorite meets with any success. I've tried every means I know to open Fidelity.
      Appreciate any suggestions.       Michael W. Styga

I tried a refresh, that didn't work so I tried an uninstall and reinstalled ff. that didn't work either. seems like its bugged or has a virus. I uninstalled it. yesterday firefox worked fine. Today when I opened it, it was slow loading my homepage (my email account) and would open new windows but never open anything in them. It would open new windows from links in an email. It would give no error messages and there was no spinning circle or anything else to indicate that it was working. When I typed in an address and entered, nothing happened. I tried the refresh, but that window wouldn't open. I did a reinstall and now my home page won't even come up. I have an Alienware x17 R1 running Windows 10. Other browsers (Microsoft Edge, Opera) run fine.
