I am having trouble setting up Two-step authentication.

After I scan the QR code and enter the code, I am presented with below error: Incorrect two-step authentication code

I first tried scanning the QR code using Microsoft Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried scanning a new QR codeGoogle Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried to manually enter the secret key into Google Authenticator app, which also did not work. I then tried scanning another new QR code with the Twilio Authy Authenticator app, which also did not work.

Can anyone help to resolve?

I'm attempting to sync my account between a Windows host and a Linux host. Logging into my account on Linux brings up a "Authorize this sign-in" window that demands entry of a 7-char "Authorization Code" (not the same as a six-digit authentication code) which is emailed to me. After entering the authorization code, a window appears stating "Bad request - Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again." This happens consistently, and only on the Linux host. Firefox 134.0.2 mint-001 1.0. Linux Mint 22.1. Any ideas about what went wrong?

Just to be extra safe I tried using my account recovery key and it told me it was invalid. I was luckily only testing and am still signed in, so I made a new key, and copy pasted it directly from where I made it, and it still told me the key was invalid.

Seems bad.

Hello, I am 70, it is not possible for me to go to my gmail and get a code and retrieve where I have to write the code in 5 minutes. If you have a solution, please tell me how to do that. Otherwise, I will give up.

How do i stop having to type in 6 letters when signing in now. This is new and I'd like to stop it for EVERY time I open Firefox. Once a week would be fine! Thanks

I want to be receiving notification like when I reset my password I don't receive the code of resetting a password you know okay a lot like signing in receiving a notification

I want to reset the password from another platform but I'm not receiving there resetting code that's the problem I try to sign using my password but the password refuse to be signed so I want to reset that password but I'm not receiving there notification code

I have looked in my email for the code to sync my devices and there is no code, what is the authentification App I do not have that on my computer for the longest while I have been unsuccessful in pairing because I can't find code and that has been quite frustrating for me.

I have had a Yahoo Account since early 2000's until my home network was compromised and they locked me out of all my accounts back in 2021. I waited until the end of 2022 or begining 2023 and contacted firefox support via 3rd party who was able to unlock my account once i signed up for a subscription. well that phone was lost and along with access to [" [edited] @YAHOO.COM & ph# ([edited] [edited] associated with the account "] and would like assistance getting back in.

How can I disable the two factor identification at log in? It's driving me mad. I am 87 years old and don't know how to disable this, Can you help please>

I never received a confirmation code to sync with my other computer. I've tried to followed all the instruction per request, still no avi.

I've followed below instruciton from your team:

   Search your inbox for emails from accounts@firefox.com with the subject line "Confirm your account". Be sure to also check Spam/Junk folders.
   Add accounts@firefox.com to your whitelist/address book. After that you, will need to trigger another confirmation email by trying to sign into your account again.
   Check that you’re using the correct email address. Very often the email you’re trying to sign in with is not the email the account was created with.
   If you're using an email application to check your inbox, try using your email provider's website instead, or vice-versa.
   Disable any VPN or special DNS configuration when attempting to sign into your account

I recently bought a new laptop and am trying to sink my current mozilla browser with the new computer. However I can't seem to get an authentication code and don't know where/if I saved Mozilla backup codes. please help1
