Firefox loses tables, bookmarks, history, passwords at every update (each 3 - 4 days). how to fix this?

I opened Firefox this morning and there were no bookmarks or history. After looking online, I came to the conclusion that I needed to find the places.sqlite and bookmarkbackups files and folders. However, I can't seem to locate either.

I am running Firefox v153.0 (aarch64) on Mac OS v. 26.5.2

I have Time machine backups, but I need help locating the correct files to restore. Thank you.
