When I open any stream, it takes about 2.5 seconds from the start of the page loading to the appearance of the stream image and playback. For comparison, in version 137 it took about 1.0 seconds.

I tried to launch the browser (Firefox 138.0.1) in troubleshooting mode, and also created a new profile, but the problem remained.

I also downloaded portable versions: 137.0.1 - everything is fine. 138.0 and 140.0a1 - slow loading.

I also have Zen Browser installed (the latest version is based on 138.0.1) - everything is fine.

I recently downloaded Firefox and would like to use it as my primary web browser (M1 14" Macbook Pro). But my Google calendar web site is not showing any colors, making it hard to use. On my other browsers (Brave, Safari, Edge) it works fine . See screen shots below from Firefox, Safari, Brave. I have tried re-booting Firefox, the computer, reverting the Firefox theme back to basics etc., and searching on line for a solution, but I can't find anything. So far all other websites are working OK, except for 1 other that has partially the same problem. If it can't be fixed I'll stop using Firefox, which I otherwise like.

Logs out of email (gmail) after restarting the browser. I reinstalled windows and downloaded a browser, connected my account, and now when I go to gmail.com and register my mail, everything is fine, it works, but when I exit the browser and go back to gmail.com, there is nothing.

When I enter the verification code I received over email, it says "Bad request: Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again."

There's no bad requests in the Network tab under web developer tools.

I'm running v138.0.1, but the ability to group tabs that was supposedly introduced in v137 is completely absent from my browser. I can neither drag tabs onto another to create a group, nor create groups by right clicking on a tab. What's up with that?

Hello. Today I updated Firefox to Version 138.0.3 64 bit and I have found that the Search Bookmarks in Bookmarks no longer works where as in Version 138.0.1 it did. I have done a Refresh and it still does not work. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem. Is this a bug or something new with the current update. Could someone tell me how to solve this a using the Search Bookmarks function was a big help. Thank you.

I am starting to use the new utility which allows me to group tabs. But I would like to see only the name of the group and not the whole list. How can I collapse the list of tabs which belong to a group leaving only the group name shown. Then with a click I should be able to see the corresponding list of tabs if I need it. For days I have been seeing Firefox be very slow to load a page (as in minutes) or stop working entirely. At the same time Chrome works fine. Mac Mail has become intermittent as well. I have uninstalled Norton products and changed Network proxy settings many times. Nothing helps. I have created new profiles. I switch between profiles. I have hacked into my WiFi router. Nothing, nothing helps. Safari hangs up too. Firefox on my android phone continues to work properly when using my Wifi router -the same router my Mac Studio connects to the internet with. I can access my third party mail service via Firefox on my android phone. Both FireTV devices work. I am at my wit's end. At this point I have shifted all of my work over to Chrome.

I have cleared caches. I have gotten rid of all cookies. I have restarted Firefox and rebooted my computer countless times.

I discovered that I cannot sync with my google account protected from 2FA.

In detail:

1. Numbered list item showing something went wrong page when I am trying to login from (about:preferences#sync);

Suddenly today (April 30) when I try to go to Yoube home page, I get a blank (see the picture). But if I try in a private window, it works.

I see Youtube has re-designed its home page - maybe that's part of ther problem.

Is there a setting I can change?

I seem to have accidentally set up tab-groups, on desktop. Probably I fat-fingered a shortcut to group some tabs. This is a function I'll never intentionally use — since I'd rather not cut off my fat fingers, is there a way to permanently shut off tab-groups?

Hello. For a while now I have been using the picture-in-picture feature to play a video in the corner while using other applications. It has been a great help as I have a single monitor.

Unfortunately, I have recently been encountering a severe issue with the feature over the last week. When attempting to use picture-in-picture while my computer is running a videogame (through Steam) my entire system will freeze. The audio still plays as normal, but the image is frozen and the system is unresponsive until I force a shutdown and reboot.

Any help at all in with this issue would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

After I upgraded to v137 and now on v138 I do not have the new search enhancements made to the address bar. Only a new profile will get me the enhancements. I'd rather not have to create a new profile and add all my changes and add-ons all over again. It's a real PITA. Is there any 'trick' I can try to get the new enhancements?
