For the last three days or so I have been haivng problems with loggin in to sites. I no longer log in automatically to my many of the sites I use, particularly those set for my home page such as IMDB.com, ebay, web.whatsapp.com etc. Everytime I restart firefox I have to log in again. This started I think wit hthe latest update 155.0.1 (my current version) installed 5th sept 26 or 155.0 installed 3 sept 26

It doesn't seem to be reading the cookies that exist. I have it configure so all cookies are cleared on exit except those in the exception list, which are those for my home page plus about 30 others I log into. There is definitely cookie data there for these sites. I hve tried everythinig but this clearly seems to be a bug. at the moment I am using Opera since the necessity to keep loggin in to every site every time is just too much.

Since last week there is a cookie that I can not remove in the Manage cookies and website data panel. It is called about.ef2a7dd5-93bc-417f-a698-142... There is probably more but that is not shown in my view. How can I remove that?

With the new organization of Settings, my list of cookies has disappeared. I was trying to delete cookies from a specific site, but when I go to that option in "settings," there is no list of cookies.

I have tried restarting both Firefox and my computer and the list is still missing.

Any suggestions on getting it back?

When I try to log on to a particular web page using my password, I get an error page. When I do so using the Private browse function it works. Following is the error I get: {

When i logged into a privacy session on a website the account did not automatically log out when i closed the session. I checked again by purposefully ensuring i closed all privacy windows but when i went back to the sight i was still logged in. I had to specifically log out the account.

Has something changed with the setting? This was one of the features that i liked. I don't want to find a new browser because what i expect is no longer happening.

I couldn't log into a site and it was suggested to 'clear cache' as follows: - settings - privacy and security - cookies and site data - clear browsing data BUT only cookies and temp cache sites. By mistake I believe I ticked browsing and download history too, and looks as though it is irrersible? Now I no longer automatically get all the little boxes I used to get for usual regular log ins (eg The Times, Meteo, banks, email etc) I think I can use 'add shortcuts' and re-enter these, but any other suggestions? I have FireFox set up to reset every time I start a new session which causes DuckDuckGo's AI search to reset every time. Does anyone know how I can set it so it doesn't do that? It's annoying always having to disable to every time I open a new session.

In Firefox, I have several windows open, each with many tabs. (And BTW, I love the Firefox tab-organization feature.) I would like to empty the cache and delete all cookies. Will that close the open tabs? Is there a way to delete the cookies, empty the cache and preserve all windows & tabs?

I cannot get into my online accounts, as I have always done for years. After I select the site, the screen looks like it is working, but then a new empty window pops up: the tab says "citi 400 Bad Request" At the top of the empty screen it says: Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Hi, your last update ( 153.0.3) broke my ability to stay signed into or go back to known web sites I have put in the “Exceptions – Cookies and Site Data”. I do clear all the Cookies and Data when I close the browser but now it looks like Cookies and Data is deleted in the “Exceptions – Cookies and Site Data” also. I would love to do a redo on this update and reload the old version. The browser also is showing my PC is Windows 10 and it has been on Windows 11 for 3 years now.

Think I've asked before, but I'm still having the same issue: in my Firefox (desktop, Windows 11), in the storage\default folder in my profile, there are, today, 5442 files! 416 folders appear here, with each one containing one or more folders ("Is", "idb", and/or "cache"), which, in turn, contain several files each, and a ".metadata-v2" file. The oldest of the 416 folders in 9/16/25. What is all this? I regularly delete all cookies over 30 days old in Manage Data.

Hello! I was just flushing my cache and i saw this number... o+I'm just curious how that could be possible? And where has those data been stored? I don't have that space...

Hello, I wanted to ask about this new site permission.

I previously used the "set cookies" permission for specific sites to keep their data after closing Firefox (Dev Edition), but now we have this "keep site data when closing" permission, can I just rely on this new permission instead? I should probably test it, but I wanted to ask first :p

Was I using the "set cookies" permission incorrectly this whole time?!
