West Virginia has a website to download old death certificates, but they wont load. There's nothing but a blank page. I'm not positive that it's a Firefox problem, as a friend of mine who uses IE cant load them either, however, she CAN load them on her Tablet. As a historian, I really need to get these records for my research, so I was wondering if someone could go to the site and see of the records appear for them to be downloaded. When I launch Firefox (version 115.0.1), it establishes and maintains multiple connections to '*.googleusercontent.com' until I close Firefox. This is bull shit is totally unacceptable. I have been using Firefox since version 1.0.6 but I will dump Firefox for another web browser if this problem cannot be fixed.

How do I stop these connections being made?

I got a new computer so I created an acct and set all my open tabs and history to sync. It wasn't intuitive to my not techie brain, but found out how to open all the tabs on the new computer. However, they don't open in the same order (makes it almost useless when you have a lot of tabs), and the tabs don't have their associated history.

Is there some way to have Firefox open tabs and history in the same state on the new device?

I tried to access my Amazon Music account with Firefox v102. I received a message from Amazon that says "Update Firefox - We have upgraded and this browser version is no longer supported. Please update your browser or download our desktop player." when I try to access. I've deleted all cookies and history. I've tried with no add-ons (safe mode). Nothing seems to help. I'm running Windows 10 (64bit) build 19044 on a Thinkpad with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

Amazon music works fine with any chromium browser. Is this another big-tech effort to clear out their competitors? I'm not going to download any application from these big-tech overloards!

Hello all. Since the update to Version 113.0 I have been getting an error in my Event Viewer which is Event 2 Firefox Default Browser Agent . I am now on Version 113.0.1 and still get this error. Firefox is my default browser. Below is an image of what I see in my Event Viewer and also the full view of the event itself. I seem to not be having any problems with the browser but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on why this is happening or forward to the Devs.

With 'Back up your Firefox data' it says it saves all open tabs.

What is meant by 'open' tabs? Is it tabs that I have clicked on during my session?

I have just over 300 tabs, will Firefox save all of those tabs in the cloud or only the tabs I clicked on during a session?

Walmart website no longer works properly with latest Firefox 96.0.2 64-bit. It works properly with Chrome and other browsers. You can log onto the site and search for products but when you try to add a product to the cart nothing happens. You also can't actually go to the cart. Last time I used Walmart was a few weeks ago and everything worked fine!

Since upgrading to Firefox 99.0.1 when I bookmark a web page into a specific folder, the URL does not appear when I open that folder. A restart of Firefox does not fix the issue.

But if I try to Bookmark the same page again, I am asked to edit it. So it must be in the folder but it is not visible! Help!

Majority of the songs do not play and I'm given with a pop-up, "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

I will play a song from a playlist and is given that pop-up, it will continue skipping to the next song until it plays, but only for 9-10 seconds until the song mutes, to specify, the dot (when hovered on the progress bar) will still move, indicating that "it's playing".

Some clarifications: 1. I use Spotify Desktop app (windows), Spotify App (android), and Spotify Webplayer on Chrome and Firefox. Everything works just as fine on all of these, except for Spotify Webplayer on Firefox. 2. Skipping to a later timestamp does not unmute the song. 2. I have Spotify Premium 3. I have no VPN 4. I am running Firefox with an ad blocker 5. I am running Chrome with an ad blocker (same ad blocker in Fifefox) 6. I am running Firefox to the latest version (Firefox 119.0.1 (20231106151204))

What I've done so far: 1. Cleared caches and data. 2. Updated my Windows to the latest update available - Win10 v.22H2 3. Signed-out of Spotify for all my devices, then logging-in first on Spotify Desktop (this automatically redirects to Firefox webplayer) 4. Ran Firefox on "Troubleshoot Mode" 5. Un-checked and re-checked "Play DRM content" setting. 6. Disabled and re-enabled the plug-in "Widevine Content Decryption Module by Google Inc". Hi All, All of a sudden cannot scroll folders in outlook/hotmail.com navigation pane in Firefox. As mentioned this has just started it has worked no problem from the change over from Hotmail to Outlook years ago up until about two weeks age. I am using an old version of Firefox 86.0.1 (64-bit) because I don't not like the layout of newer versions and 86 works for me and does what I want it too so you know "if it ain't broke don't fix it" anyway just of late I can not scroll my folders where I save emails and therefore have a hard time finding folders that don't show in the navigation pane without scrolling you get the gist. As you can see in attached photo. I have done all the clearing of Cookies, Cached Web Content ect as mentioned in some google searches but still no go. It's now a problem except I have found if I click on "View" and change the settings under Density to "Compact" all the folders in the nav pane show but even with my good reading glasses on the type is so small it's hard to read and I would prefer if I could just scroll the list of folders. Oh also I have not done any updates to Outlook, don't know if I can, or for that matter Firefox or any other app on my PC.

Whenever i put javascript code into the url box when making a bookmark, (trying to add a bookmarklet to my bookmark bar.) after i click save, the bookmark just doesnt even show up, its like firefox isnt even making the bookmark. i dont even know whats going on it was doing this before i had any addons

this topic is about two things.

1. How do I reset the data of the built-in Protections Dashboard without resetting all of Firefox?

2. and probably more complicated, how do I stop Firefox from checking for "Login breach information"?

I do already have and always had "Show alerts about passwords for breached web sites" in options disabled. Still the Dashboard shows that "1 password stored securely.".

Mozilla says "[i]Firefox Monitor warns you if your online accounts were involved in a known data breach. For more information, see Firefox Password Manager - Alerts for breached websites. To get the latest login breach information and more, Firefox connects to firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com/i"

So now I've gone as far as blocking "firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com" through HOSTS. Still the Dashboard shows that "1 password stored securely.".

Why is it still checking? How is it still checking? How do I stop this?

Few days ago, some of our clients and few (not all) internal PC are get stucked on a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR on our website. Only on 117 windows version (118 developer version and 119 nightly seems ok). We tried to repair firefox, it works on 95% but we can't ask our client to do this. It works on Chrome & Edge.

We running out of ideas : - we only accept TLS 1.2 / 1.3 - checking CSP - Both IIS and Apache are not working - Firewall are not blocking

I'm using Firefox 85.0.2 . . . I was doing this (below), to customize my header and footer, but in this version of FF, I no longer see this in Options - only in: about:config . . . keyword "footer" . . . there, I would have to change it for 5 different ways of printing (to printers or to PDF)

I need to get rid of printing the URL in the footer - many times, it's too long, and I don't need it.

Where did the Page Setup option go?

I see in the current Print Options, you have to go to - More Settings / Margin / Custom - to see those. Why would they put this so many levels down?

It used to be: File / Page Setup / Margins & Header/Footer . . . "Customize" Headers & Footers:

Option 1 (left) . . . there are two leading spaces:

Option 2 (left) . . . get rid of the ">"s, and just have the two leading spaces:

Hello. Can someone please explain why Facebook asks for username/password every single time Firefox is restarted? I do not use cookie-cleaning extensions. They also send a 'login attempt' email and phone notification every time.

Tried with and without Facebook Container. Not using other Container/multi-account related extensions. My settings:

Unfortunately, I downloaded “SaveFrom.net Helper” without reviewing it.

Since downloading it I have been receiving a alerts from “McAfee WebAdvisor” about “dangerous pages blocked”.

I was able to remove the “SaveFrom.net Helper” add on in Firefox, but am unable to remove the “Savefrom.net Helper” bookmark tab which has high jacked my normal Firefox Bookmarks.

I can no longer easily see my Firefox Bookmarks and have to keep opening the Firefox Application Menu, then select Bookmarks, then select Manage Bookmarks in order to see my bookmarks.

Can you please advise how I can safely remove the “SaveFrom.net Helper” bookmark tab which has high jacked my Firefox Bookmarks.

I have tried watching videos through chrome and other browsers by searching something via duck duck go and watching that video on duck duck go, and it works on other browser so it must be specific to firefox.

Whenever I try to watch a video, in the drop down bar firefox select to mute audio for some reason. I then select 'allow audio and video' and refresh the page but the video is still muted for some reason. This also happens when I try to use other video sites. This has only started to happen recently in the past two days (and yes I am updated to the latest version of firefox).

I don;t know if I chose the right "best describes the question" because the first half of the option is off the screen to the left, and there's no way to scroll over. I would like to go back to the version that preceded this latest update please. It worked well. Please reply by email, [email-removed], because I can't read most of what's on the screen here. I hope someone pays attention to this, because otherwise I'll have to abandon Firefox, and it's been by far my preferred browser. Can't think what you've done to it. Your updates in the past all worked fine. I'm on a Lenovo ThinkPad S145 with Windows10.
