I recently couldn't logon to my local online banking site. The thing is, is had been working just fine for years, and then all of sudden stopped working. Upon calling the bank they said everything looked fine on their end and try using a different browser. I used Chrome (would rather NOT use that browser), and I could logon fine. I found that if I disabled Privacy Possum it worked fine, so, now when I want to logon to my local bank I just disable Privacy Possum and it works. But I don't understand why it all of sudden quit working.

Now I can't logon to my Penfed credit card account. I tried turning off all the extensions, NO help. I went to the Firefox trouble shooting section and refreshed Firefox and did what ever else they said to do like clear ALL my history and cache...still no help. My Penfed had been working just fine until today, and it also comes up fine using Chrome. Is there anything that has changed in Firefox that is blocking my two online banking accounts that you know of?? This seems very strange.

When I click the three dots in the address bar to open the page actions, I am not able to see any options it shows an empty box. It started happening recently. My version is 84.0.

I just installed it on a new laptop. It was working fine.

I then changed to the profile from my old laptop. It works fine but many images now have glitter; not all over, but as if the image creator has pained this on in odd areas. For example a winter scene has a landscape of a man climbing a mountain and the man is covered by glitter.

I can't work out why this has started happening or how to prevent it. It's intrusive and hurts my eyes.

It's wierd, because when I inspect the element, I can see the right text.

And with I close all tabs and open the security firefox, works fine.

I Already tested delete all add-ons, anti-virus,...Nothing helped

I am currently on Firefox 84.0 on Windows 10.

Every time I download any type of file, Firefox puts the file inside of (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local > Temp. This is extremely frustrating because I have to manually move the files to my 'Downloads' folder every time I download a new file. I have changed my settings numerous times. In Options > General > Files and applications. I have selected the "Save files to" and I have changed it to many different locations and my files still end up in (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local >Temp. I have even resorted to selecting the setting "Always ask you where to save files." After closing and reopening the browser, I try to download something and Firefox never prompts me to select a download location (Contrary to my settings). Firefox just automatically downloads the file and puts it in (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local > Temp.

After looking for solutions online I have went into "about:config" and I found out that "browser.download.dir" was already set to "C:\Users\tmmor\Downloads" (My intended location) and "browser.download.lastDir" was already set to the same location. I have also set "browser.download.useDownloadsDir" from false to true. Firefox still puts my downloads into (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local > Temp.

I am also the administrator on my device. I am not aware of any windows settings that are blocking Firefox from putting my downloads into my "Downloads" folder. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome put my downloads into my "Downloads" folder every single time I download something, why cant Firefox do the same?

I also do not believe that any of my extensions or plug-in's are causing this issue, I have very few extensions and plug-in's.

Firefox is persistent at saving my downloads to (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local > Temp. I have never gotten Firefox to save my downloads to my intended location (The downloads folder). Can anyone please instruct me how to resolve this issue. This is my last resort to solving this problem, nothing has worked for me. Thank you for your time, this experience has been stressful for me.

I'm running Ubuntu 20.10 with GNOME Shell extension Unite which can add the minimize, maximize and close buttons to the top bar and remove the buttons from the title bar of apps. The does not work in Firefox, minimize, maximize & close remain. I'm assuming this is related to Firefox's ability to remove the title bar all together so tabs can be at the top. The Firefox Customize... page allows you to change just about everything else in the UI except these three buttons.

Is there a way to remove Firefox's minimize, maximize and close buttons?

In case it matters I really only care about the Close button (not Close tab) because GNOME Tweaks lets you remove the minimize & maximize buttons from all apps.

I want a link to open in a new tab after I left-click. So I have the "Open links in tabs instead of new windows" setting checked. But it doesn't work, when I click a link it opens in that tab. So I unchecked the box, and still, the link opens in that tab. It doesn't open in a new tab or window.

Isn't there a way to have a link open in a new tab? Or the only way to do it would be left click and go to the "open link in new tab" part of the pop up window?

Just recently Firefox started to display a "Loading..." message in the middle of every page I go to in Breitbart.com (doesn't happen in any other website).

It appears about 2 seconds AFTER the page loads or press F5. The background goes dark suggesting it's modal. It lasts for about 1 second and then goes away and everything appears normal.

I've been told this is a Cloudflare anti-DDoS CDN protocol issue, but I'm not so sure of that.

I've started up in Clean Mode and get the same behavior.

After updating to the most recent version the shortcut (CTRL+SHIFT+B) for the bookmark manager has changed to CTRL+SHIFT+O . WHY?!? after years and years now that? the old one you could manage with one hand...especially annoying if you use the bookmark manager often and used to open it with one hand while not having to let go off the mouse with the other hand. and second... is there a way to customize shortcuts etc? in the old firefox there was apparently, but that is now gone?!? or is there a way with the help of about:config?

When Picture-In-Picture mode first release, the size of the video was respective to the video's resolution, the window would increase in size the large the resolution and decrease the smaller. This allowed the window to be customizable in size. Now, for me at least, every picture-in-picture video is a tiny window. Is there a way to tweak and increase the size of the video like before?

In one of the recent updates the Page Range box is blank. It used to default to '1' but now defaults to nothing. I often just want to print the first page so I want to change this back.

Where is the option to make this the default? Is there a setting or addon I can use to get this back?

Hi all,

We have an internal web application that uses an external application on our pc's to handle certain links.

After updating Firefox to version 8X it now continually asks to open these links. The Always allow... checkbox is not respected. Once checking the box it lasts for the period you have the browser open but as soon as you close Firefox and open again it will again prompt.

I tried renaming my handlers.json file and letting it be rebuilt to no avail.

Anyone know what he issue might be?

Firefox has a "list all tabs" button, which looks like a "v" in the tabs bar, next to the plus. It works great but when I maximize the window (not F11 full screen, but Windows OS Maximize Window), this button disappears. Seems like a bug; I can't think why you would want that button to be removed when the window is maximized.

On screen keyboard not working when using Firefox. It will work with MS Edge, but not Firefox. It flashes then disappears quickly when in Firefox. It worked previously, but a few months ago it quit working.

Windows 7 Pro, Firefox, current, 84.0.2.

I've tried logging out and back in, I've cleared ALL history, cache, cookies, etc. I've tried restarting Firefox, no help. Gmail, Voice and contacts all show fine. This was working fine last night, less than 12 hours ago. System was shut down last night, and booted this morning, and this problem has occurred. Logged in via Chrome and calendar shows fine, so it's likely some probem with firefox. Hate to reset firefox and have to load all my extensions again.

Here are the extensions/Add-ons I have loaded. But bear in mind these were loaded last night, and have been loaded for many months at least, with no problems. AND, other Google site, gmail,voice, contacts all work fine.

I've tried the Firefox reset/refresh option, exact same issue.

I'm even willing at this point to uninstall Firefox and reinstall from scratch, but how do I ensure ALL Firefox system modifications, etc. ARE removed?

Some websites do not load if an ad-blocker extension is enabled. In FireFox Windows Browser, how do I disable u block origin on some certain websites? I don't want to disable ad-blocker and then enable it again and again.

When I'm REGISTERING, I put in my email address (which I've been using for about 10 years). Then I get: Please enter a valid email address.

My email address is not valid? That's ridiculous.
