Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.

What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.

There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.

I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

Firefox keeps crashing. I tried refresh and am afraid to totally uninstall for fear of losing my tabs and data. Why is this crashing all of a sudden. Also will not play Youtube videos. I have cleared cache and history.

Hi -- I'm getting quite a few page crashes that seem mostly tied to YouTube, although not exclusively. I only recently swapped over to Firefox from Chrome because I was having similar crashing issues with that browser as well. This is after a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro and a number of different benchmark tests (no known issues with CPU, GPU, or RAM).

Since there are so many reports that all seem different, could someone help troubleshoot? I really can't tell if it's a browser problem, maybe something with my MOBO or PSU or other hardware.

whenever i stop, backtrack or advance a video as in youtube i can expect it to crash. the same with pages containing videos. also playing music sound clips i can guarantee a crash. this has been a problem for years.

Without warning or input from me, Firefox shuts down and upon me reopening firefox, my Outlook Hotmail E-mail account doesn't recognize my set password? I have to keep resetting my password each time???

Anybody knows if this is a Microsoft issue, or is it Firefox?

tried few below steps Remove all Extensions, Reset Browser again if same issue remove the user profile and login with the new profile if same issue try un-installing and re-installing browser with the different account did a clean re installation by removing local files from the help of forced uninstaller reinstalled it but the issue still persist also tested by disabling antivirus although the computer worked with mcafee earlier please provide a solution to this computer is running on win 11 with the latest 25H2 update

No matter what I try to read or go to, Firefox crashes repeatedly. I literally cannot use it at all. I keep getting: Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help! Choose Restore This Tab or Restore All Crashed Tabs to reload the page/pages.

Clicking those options fixes nothing! How do I go back to the previous version, please?

I ran a Windows 11 Update and after I opened Firefox, it shows all the tabs that were there but each tab indicates that it's 'Crashed'. The 'Tab Crash Reporter' doesn't restore a single tab nor does it react to 'Restore all Tabs'. It looks like Firefox is NOT connecting to the web.

I'm entering this using the Edge browser.

Since downloading the New upgrade today I cannot access anything! TAb crashes everytime. Wish I could go back as have used firefox for years and will now have to find alternative. Have had use the dreaded chrome to post this!

I have Windows 11 and just installed the latest Firefox update (145). But every time I try to open a site, the page crashes. I seem to be able to work in troubleshooting mode, but otherwise I'm dead in the water.

Is there any way to roll back to version 144?

On a daily, my tabs crash and won't restore. The only way to fix is to close Firefox and reopen. When I reopen, I'm prompted to create a new profile. This happens daily on the ESR version. There's no crash reports or anything. It's become very unstable and a pain to deal with. I've reinstalled Firefox from scratch, removed all remnants of all profiles, and it still happens.

I am getting consistent issues with Firefox where the tabs seemingly just crash with no rhyme or reason to them. Could be within a few seconds, could be after a few minutes. Doesn't seem to be one website causing it either as I was worried it was Twitch but I get issues browsing other places too. Any help would be appreciated!

Every time I try to connect to my Gmail account, the browser freezes and I have to restart it. I’ve tried everything, but nothing works. Please look into this — since your last update, Firefox has become unusable.

I've used Slack every day for the past decade, and Firefox has been my primary browser for some time now. I've never had an issue with the two, but now, Firefox is reliably crashing every time I attempt to open Slack.

I've tried clearing my cache both broadly and specific to Slack, with neither producing results. Even tried deleting all cookies on Firefox, which was a bit of a pain, and it was no help.

I did read up on some people encountering a similar issue that could be fixed by deleting the Slack entry in "about:serviceworkers," but this did not help here.

The only extension I'm running is uBlock Origin, which I've been running for probably as long as I've been using Firefox, and that has never presented an issue before either.

Would appreciate any help or advice on the matter.
