Anytime that I open a pdf using firefox the page will load but will just leave a blank page with nothing displayed. Reloading does not help and I have tried to change my settings around to no avail

When I try to select some object on a pdf page, a little window appears with "select" and "comment", and the window blocks other objects of the page. How to remove that forever? That is very inconvenient.

I have Firefox set to always ask about how I want to open/save PDF files. Within the past couple weeks, I've encountered an issue with opening PDF files. When I click on a PDF and select "open with Firefox," the PDF opens in a new tab on Firefox, but it also opens in Acrobat. When I select this option, I just want the PDF to open in my browser, and I cannot find a way to stop it from simultaneously opening in Acrobat.

I want to view USPS PDF labels from their new API. These PDF's are version 1.7. Chrome and Edge all ready work. Will FireFox support this as well ? Viewing one of these PDF's displays a black or white screen.

I create and save files in OneDrive. When I open a file, it always opens in the Microsoft Edge Browser which is a problem for the old guy, me. I prefer that they open only in the documents folder as their specific kind of document; Word, PDF, and Excel spreadsheet files so that I can then move my files into various folders and sub-files. Hopefully, someone can figure out what I have said and help me. • I'm uncertain if the topic I chose accurately describes my question.

I use Xero accounting software and used to be able to view pdf within the software up until the recent update. Now it just sits with a spinning wheel. I've found that if I change the setting within Firefox to open the pdf within Firefox the issue is fixed in Xero. But then all pdf's open in Firefox instead of the usual Adobe. This breaks other workflows within my organisation as I need to email the pdf straight away when I download it, so my Windows was set with Adobe as the default for opening pdf's but now Firefox has taken that over. There does not appear to be any way to email the pdf from Firefox other than to save it and then find the file and email it from there which is very time consuming. I don't know what has changed in Firefox, but please can you fix it. I see I'm not the only person with this issue.

Recently, whenever I open saved (or sometimes new web) documents in Firefox, a very large pop-up on the lower right side of my screen appears with a cartoon of a pencil scanning a document. Below the cartoon it states "Now you can highlight your PDFs! With our new highlighter tool, you can read and edit PDFs in one place." The pop-up blocks half the view of the document and cannot be minimized or closed. It also prevents accessing (it hides) the "print" option if I want to print/save the page. I have WINDOWS 11 and have looked online for solutions to this problem which always produces the same suggestion: "go to 'settings', click 'privacy & security', check 'block pop-ups', click 'OK'", all of which I've done. I now limit my use of Firefox to streaming videos via amazon, and use Chrome or Edge for anything else I need to do, but I assume Firefox would not be happy to know of the aggravation their browser is causing, forcing users to go elsewhere (or am I the only person having this problem). Hello: recently I decided to ditch expensive PDF Converter apps for my desktop pc as overspecified for my purposes. To date, I haven't found any guidance to use the Firefox Easy PDF Converter - usually required to convert Lotus Word Pro or MS Word text documents to pdf format. As a second request, can it be used to reverse convert e.g. pdf to docx etc. I have already added it to my Firefox app, but can't go any further. Thank you for helping. Geoff Pickerell (UK)

I am no longer able to open in Mac Preview or save when hitting Command + P, then 'print using system dialog'. It will only print instead. For instance, I save certain web pages as PDFs using the print dialog and now it will only print when trying to use either the save or preview options. Command + P, print using system dialog, then I choose either save as PDF or open in Mac Preview, but as soon as I do one of these it will only print. I am able to use save in the drop-down list of printers, but I need to be able to open in Mac Preview.

Recently, I am unable to open PDF's on Firefox. When I go to another browser and access the same site (such as a bank) I am able to view the PDF. I have tried some of the suggestions regarding extensions etc, but nothing seems to work. Is there a solution? Thanks, SVS

I am using the FireFox PDF Editor to annotate a PDF, however, no method of me saving the document (whether that is save as, or save as PDF) will allow me to save any annotations on the document. If I try doing save as PDF, the preview shows up as blank sheets of paper, when I click "save as" it only saves one page of the 31 as BLANK. If I try doing normal save as, the saved file is un-annotated.

When filling in the PDF documents, at each section/line I move too, the font reverts back to the super large size, without being prompted too. Is there a way to set the font, so it remains the same, unless prompted? When attempting to adjust the font, it goes from super large to super small, any suggestions to set the font in between these two sizes?

• • I opened up the document from my email and began working from there. Should I use a PDF program and not from the email?**

Since this morning, Firefox previews any PDF I click on, and then I have to manually download it for it to open in Acrobat. Acrobat is set as my system default. I have tried other suggestions found here, such as going into the troubleshooting and checking the folder profile, but nothing works. It is very frustrating.
