Hello All, just switched to Firefox and like it a lot. However, one thing I cannot figure out ... how to make it remember log-in email or username, but NOT saving any passwords. I googled and many answers are outdated (2014) ... non made a change anyways. - Unchecked "Delete Cookies when Firefox closes" - Under Passwords: I unchecked "Ask To Save Passwords" - Under Autofill: "Save and Fill Addresses" - Checked - I added my entire mailing address and email in "Save Addresses" - "Save and Fill Payment Methods" - Unchecked - Under History: "Remember Browsing and Download History" and "Remember Search and Form History" ...
both checked.
These settings seam to be most logical for what I want but it still does not work. What I'm talking about is, e.g., when I sign in to Amazon I'm expecting to already see my email or at least after typing the first letter. That's how it was in the previous browser. (FYI: required password field/sign-in is replaced by Windows pin)
What am I doing wrong? Please advise.

Somehow, my sign-in on Coinbase is now asking for me to insert a USB device into my computer as a passkey, and that is there because of Mozilla Firefox. I tried a couple weeks ago to sign in, after my phone was broken, and in the process this new way of requiring me to have some USB device came about, now I cannot log into my Coinbase account, cannot buy or sell, do anything because Mozilla is requiring me to use a non-existent USB drive with a digital passkey. I cannot call and talk to Coinbase, and I have no idea how to reach Mozilla to cancel this either.

If I check the box in pref to auto fill, I still need to select the one that fits (there are multiple kipu logins for different offices). But then I sign notes, and each time I sign a note it brings up the box to save password...I don't want this because its not an actual password or anything its just the code I use to sign the notes...ps chrome does all this but just started not working in the morning unless I restart it...and I'd prefer firefox

I have deleted history, cookies, cache, etc...but for whatever reason when I go to this specific website my password will automatically be showing up in the search feature. How do I get rid of this?

Recently firefox updated to v139.0.4 (64bit) after the update I disabled "autofill logins & passwords" but every time I turn on the pc the username/login, on webpages (amazon,facebook. webmail), populates the field.
I never had this issue until the update, previous version "autofill logins & passwords" has always been disabled ie never shows...
I do NOT want the logon info for "autofill logins & passwords" populated...
