My current version of Firefox is 151.0.4 (64-bit) & for the past 2 weeks or so every time I use the search bar to google something it triggers one of those "We've detected unusual activity from your network" requiring a Captcha. At first I tried all of the typical stuff [antivirus, vpn, extensions, etc...] to make sure that wasn't the issue. But as of yesterday & confirmed today I can actually go to Google's website first & do the search from there with no issue & no captcha.

So, whatever the issue is has to do specifically with doing the search via the search bar... for some reason. Is this a bug in the browser, or is there perhaps some setting that could cause this to happen in the about:config page? Though, I doubt a setting could be it because I've changed the settings I've changed now for years without causing this issue.

To be honest. Firefox is starting to be a big pain to use. I'm starting to see more and more of this screen where it say's "Be careful. Something doesn't look right" Even when i go to the advance and say proceed. Nothing happens and i'm getting no where. I know many of the sites don't have anything to do with asking for credit card, Scam or even having popup's. I test the sites in other browsers and there work without any issues. But Firefox is starting to lock me out of many sites due to this. How can i make this stop. As i used Firefox for many years.

The sample that is in the screenshot is a Anime data base that i have also used for years. But today shows this. But was working fine yesteday. What is going on and how can i fix it. So i can start using the browser that i love on the sites i want to.

How can I log into my account when Mozilla has locked it? You list no e-mail address, phone number, I have spent alot of time today trying to unlock my account? Why would I want to donate $ to Mozilla, when the customer service is so poor? My account username is [email address]. This is also my e-mail address. I would like to get my account unlocked so I can sync my passwords.

When I have video playing in Firefox's PIP window (ex: YT) and when I enter full-screen mode in browser, the windows 11 taskbar does not disappear.

It works normally when there is no PIP window.

I have uploaded pictures of: - Not full-screen and with PIP window - Full-screen and with PIP window - Full-screen and without PIP window

OS: Windows 11 23H2 Firefox: Version 152.0.4 (64-bit)

what it says on the tin. went data purging with ol reliable WinDirStat and found this absolute behemoth of a file in the profiles directory for firefox. its especially weird considering the entire Firefox directory itself is only 1.5GB with this menace taking 1.3 of it. I cant imagine that bookmarks, search history, passwords, the works takes up any more than about 300mb. so im wondering if im just stuck in the early days of data or if the file really is just that girthy.

I’m looking for help with a Windows taskbar issue. My taskbar refuses to auto-hide when I have a video in full-screen and a Picture-in-Picture video running simultaneously. It works fine with just one video, but the PiP window keeps the taskbar active.

Does anyone know if there is a setting or workaround to fix this behavior?

Pressing the VPN button on my browser allows me to star or stop vpn o,k. but I would like to know how much I have used in the current month so I can be sure of saving some vpn for special sites e.g banking. I would appreciate tour guidance please

Trying to access search Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply gives errors. Works with Chrome. Started about 2 weeks ago or so. I use Starlink, no VPN, tried disabling Ad Blocker, Clearing cache for Lowes, no Add ons, but still doesn't help.

Error msg from Tractor Supply is: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/catalog/lawn-garden?" on this server.

Just recently I changed my privacy settings to take advantage of the privacy opt-out option for websites not to share my data or information. I went to my AMX credit card account and now every time I move to a new page the message, "Your Global Privacy Control opt-out signal has been honored" pops up and gets in the way of the information on the page. I am constantly having to click on the X in the corner to close the message box. Once would be enough for each main website. Having it pop up every time is absolutely annoying. I like having this option but if it's going to make me have to close the informational box every time I move to a new page or back to a former page, then I will have to undo the choice. The web designer who put this message text into the Firefox browser needs to find a way to only have it pop up once if they feel it is really necessary to tell me that they are blocking information from other companies. I really don't even need the first message just as long as it works behind the scenes. I hope someone gets web support to look into this issue. It's just so annoying.

in the last week or so anytime I click on a page a new tab will open with junk ads or a popup will come up on the screen and block content. They can be closed and deleted but it happens continually no matter what settings I have or preferences set. I have pop up blocker toggled in the settings and I have a Mozilla ad blocker but it is not working. Please help! this is really annoying!

I am unable to view old payment methods in order to delete them. When I go to Settings, Passwords and Autofill, Payment Methods, Manage Payment Methods, I can only add new methods. The old methods do not show up, i.e. the list is blank. I have many old payment methods that I'd like to delete that show up in drop-down when I click in a credit card number field. When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

As title says, on my main profile, i dont see any option to use the new tab widgets function. If i make a new profile, it is there on default.

How to add it on my main profile?
