For the last couple of months I have been getting frequent (not always) hangs on exiting Firefox. Sometimes get the windows message of not enough threads. Sometimes goes to "Firefox is not responding". Always have to reboot to clear.

As Firefox no longer supports windows 8, I have downloaded and installed Firefox ESR 64-bit. I can open my banking site but the site does not show a log in button. I had no trouble with this site last week. I can access my log in details on my mobile. Can this be fixed

I still have windows 8.1. I do all my bill paying online. I can no longer open my banks website for online business. I thought Firefox had renewed support through 2026? Wasnt Firefox a search engine? The listed search s - none of them open banks etc.

i have used mozilla for many years, i HATE google! last night 12/31/24 duckduckgo was my search engine, i stayed up until 1 or 2am on 1/1/2025 and watched several youtube videos (i had been watching them all day) and turned my computer off and went to bed. around 9am 1/1/2025 i got up and turned on my computer, clicked mozilla in my toolbar and started a search, I GOT GOOGLE RESULTS, SO HIT THE BACK ARROW AND NOTICED GOOGLE WAS MY SEARCH ENGINE!! DID YOU DO AN UPDATE OR ANYTHING TO CHANGE MY SEARCH ENGINE TO GOOGLE? i managed to download duckduckgo and make it my search engine again. BUT i NEED to know if this happened on YOUR END, or if GOOGLE did something. I HAD NOT MADE ANY CHANGES TO MY COMPUTER ON 12/31/2024 OR THE EARLY MORNING HOURS AFTER MIDNIGHT!!!

IF MOZILLA DID THIS , I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY, BUT IF IT WAS NEFARIOUSLY DONE BY GOOGLE, THEN IM PISSED!!! THANK YOU!

Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. msn.com and outlook.com recently changed their login procedure and I can't login using firefox. I get an error 400.

whenever i stop, backtrack or advance a video as in youtube i can expect it to crash. the same with pages containing videos. also playing music sound clips i can guarantee a crash. this has been a problem for years.

I'm trying to disable the alt + t shortcut in firefox and having absolutely no luck. I've searched for answers and all of the ones I've found haven't worked. I tried the about:config "ui.key.menuAccessKeyFocuses" set to true option and hiding the menu bar. Neither work. Is there anything that would work for me?

Hi. I am trying to get into chase.com web without success. Why I already try several download with different browsers.

I'm unable to log in to Telephone Service Co. - TSC Wapakoneta, Ohio website using Firefox, but Internet Explorer logs in OK. TSC Customer Service indicated problem was in Firefox, but Firefox seems to work OK on other sites. TSC suggested I clear cache & cookies. Is this a good idea? If so, how do I do that?

First, is there a list of commandline options?

Second, I would like to be able to start Firefox with a specified URL from a batch file -or- a .net program. Then, either close FF -or- switch to a different URL. is this possible?

Whenever i attempt to save my passwords or login, it will not be saved in the browser. It will also prompt me to enter in my primary password to view saved logins which are still not saved in the browser. I have enabled autofill on the account but the issue continues to happen.

My firefox browser stopped working today. It will not load any website. It just sits there and the dot just goes back and forth. It worked fine yesterday. 3-2-2024. My email is randrcv@sti.net.
