I have two shops on Etsy. From what I understand, I cannot access them both from the same browser, so I have Google Chrome for one and Firefox for the other. However, I have had a lot of trouble printing invoices and shipping labels from Etsy. When I hit print in Etsy, the invoices and labels are sent to Word and then there is some corruption. Yesterday, the shipping label was too small and the top portion was filled with Chinese language and not English. The rest of the label was in English. Is there a reason why the forms will not print directly from Etsy in Firebox? Transferring the files to Word (this is done by Firefox) makes a process that should be quick and easy a pain in the neck. Can this be resolved or I am going to need to use another browser. Thanks. (April 2025) So suddenly, after my most recent FF update, if I have a document open in FF and hit "print" and choose "use system dialog box" (or whatever the exact wording is), Firefox Print opens up instead of my usual system dialog box. Why is this happening, and is there a setting I can change to DEFAULT to the regular SYSTEM PRINT dialog box instead.
I do not like FF Print. It prints one page at a time w/ like a minute pause between pages in a multi page document. And when I need more settings, it opens up the HP dialog box anyway, so wtf is the point? I just want my system dialog box back where all my print settings are in one place.
Thank you for any help!

Hi Win10 PC fully up to date. Changed my printer from a Xerox to an HP laser. In the control panel, set the HP as the default printer. MS Office prints on the HP without prompting. Firefox (134.0.2) always defaults to the Xerox. The HP is available in the drop down box. Restarting the PC or reloading Firefox makes no difference, Firefox always defaults to the (non existent) Xerox. MS Edge defaults to the HP. Any ideas? Regards - Andrew

I have an Arch Linux installation with Plasma desktop. Software is always kept up-to-date. Sometime recently, Mozilla apps, Firefox nor Thunderbird, will no longer print, neither to pdf nor to network printer. These always worked before. Now, if even "print preview" is invoked, the dialog opens as a blank sub window with only the word "Print" in upper right, and at left center is "Preparing Preview with rotating time delay wheel, which never resolves. All other apps, including other browsers and mail handlers, will print without issue. I've tried the obvious checks with no success. Where could be the problem? Is there a helper app shared by Firefox and Thunderbird that could be the issue? The only potential remedy I have not yet tried is complete removal of both Firefox and Thunderbird, as that would cause re-configuration issues for both. It's necessary to press <ESC> to terminate the print window when it fails to respond. Screenshot attached...

Ffx 147.0 / Mac OS Tahoe 26.2 / HP printers
Print dialog page margin custom values appear in mm only. No option for inches here.
As recommended years ago for earlier Mac OS and Ffx versions, I've tried the about:config dialog. Changed several universal page margin unit settings from 1 (mm) to 0 (inches), and also or my specific printers, for top, bottom, left and right. Also have tried to disable "unwriteable margins" settings, universal and printer-specific.
But the Print dialog Margins|custom (mm) seems to be hard wired, so not responding to changes in configuration settings.
Also have ensured that all Mac system measurement specs (Language, Region) are US and not metric.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Recently we switched my wife (first cc) from running on a PC under Windows 10 to Windows 11 using Firefox as the default browser with her main application being email. It seems that she can't print anything from Firefox, there is a screen that pops up saying "Preparing preview", the only way to get past that is to use the Esc key. It doesn't seem like Edge has that problem. I don't know how to find out what is going on, any advice would be welcome. I don't see how to get the version number, auto download and install Firefrox updates is enabled, I don't think any add-ons are installed. I'm not able to print from any website.

Hello there,
I'm a relatively new adopter of Firefox so please bear with me.
First off let me say that my Brother Printer is working fine. Word documents as well as non-PDF documents print correctly and cleanly from 3rd party applications as well as Firefox. That is until I open up a PDF document and attempt to print it and see: "Printer in an error state." Clearing out the print cue and or restarting the printer, does nothing to resolve this issue.
See attached image from the printer cue.
Digging into my system (Windows 11) everything appears fine, drivers are up-2-date, and all other applications that can use the printer do so without issue. Briefly re-installing Chrome, I'm able to print the PDF without issue. Which strongly suggests that this is an issue native to the Firefox browser. Odds are if I'm seeing this issue, loads of other users are as well.
Looking forward to your replies.... Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

When paying credit card accounts owned by Synchrony Bank (eg J C Penney, Care Credit), after making payment, displayed receipt is too long for one page, and critical data spills over into what would be the second page. There is no site-provided Print control, and when I try to use the Print control on the toolbar, the print dialog opens up, displaying the correct number of pages (usually two, sometimes three), but displaying the image of the first page on each page. When I select pages 1 and 2 for printing, page 1 prints on all pages of the paper.
Synchrony Bank has been informed of this multiple times over the past year, and they refuse to look at the problem, saying it's "my browser." So is there any way to prove it's their problem, or can you put pressure on them to fix the problem? I am reduced to waiting for the email receipt to appear and print THAT (of course, I hold the web site open until it does), and for my last payment the email never appeared!
It wouldn't be so bad if they put the critical numbers at the top of the page, but they always have some art work and other constant content that takes up more than half the page (it also wastes ink, but that is a minor concern), as if they want to force users to print on legal paper.
I will submit the debugging information the next time I make a payment to one of these cards (the problem does not appear when printing any other web page, ONLY the payment receipt).

We print a report from an application, and the application allows the user the option to print the "title" of the report. Once the option to print the title is selected and print report is executed, the report displays in the browser, which can then be printed to a printer. On one machine using Mozilla, everything works as it should, but on a second machine that we are starting to use, even though "print the title" is selected, the title does not appear on the final print output.
In other browsers I see a "page setup" option and that is where I can select "Title" and position where I want it to appear on printed output, and I suspect Firefox must have the same settings, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find it.
I've included the images of the various stages that we are trying to achieve with Firefox on the new machine.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to download videos from a site that I newly subscribed to. The videos do stream perfectly. The files do not download as video files and will not open at all. When I click on the download link, there is no recognition of a download happening and when I check my files later I have an "internet" file showing with a title but without a video file extension and nothing will open. The file extension is ".html". I am following the step by step instructions from the site involved. Other sites videos are downloading as expected.
