I want to remove a builtin shortcut because I want to use the same key combination for something else. How may I do that? Couldn't find any solution online.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug, or me not using FF properly.
I want Firefox in general to ask me, which profile to use when started. So in the Profile-Manager, I removed the checkbox for "Use selected profile without asking as startup".
Now, I wanted to create a shortcut for a specific profile, so I tried running `firefox -P "myProfile"` or even `firefox -p "/path/to/myProfile"`. In both cases I get the window asking me which profile to use.

If I have Global Privacy Control turned on, will "Privacy-Preserving Ad Measurement" be turned on automatically when I upgrade, or will I have to disable it?

I noticed that websites in my main firefox profile began showing the time in UTC rather than following my timezone.
privacy.resistFingerprinting and privacy.resistFingerprinting.testing.setTZtoUTC are set to false
Other profiles follow my timezone, so I would imagine that this has something to do directly with my current firefox profile.
Thank you

I'm talking about how when you go to fill out a text input, it'll suggest that input next time you go to a similar field. Well, that system just saved my social security number as an input after I filled out a government form. I would like to turn this feature off now, and delete the history of it if I can. Is there a way I can do that?
I'd attach an example image of a different website, but the box goes away when trying to take a screenshot.

So I was trying to test webauthn so I went to webauthn.io and then signed up with my username but firefox then tells me touch your security key to continue with webauthn.io but it works very well google chrome. and shows me a qr code and then I scan it in my phone. And after some search I think that the problem is that firefox defaults to use the security key which is a physical device but i don't want to use it I want to get the QR code. Also I tried different websites but got the same problem.
And by the way I use arch linux but I don't think that the problem is with arch as I mentioned before everything worked very well in google chrome.

My browser keeps crashing like the system would have a defective RAM module witch has just been changed with a new one. I have created a new browser session and cleaned cache and cookies. The crash catch you randomly and then get fixated on a web page.... if i open amazon it crashes, then if i restart the browser it crashes again...like it would do when filling a defective RAM and finding a broken byte. I tested it for 24 hours from a live usb of memtest86+ and i got no error.

Can we verify it's not a problem of Firefox? At the moment Windows doesn't crash, it crashes only Firefox
As of this morning, with the Firefox 130 update ( 20240726035627), Firefox is crashing in many instances when the add-on Privacy Badger is enabled.

The system continues to tell me that my original email address is the primary address. That address has been hacked and I need to remove it and replace it. I am then told I need to add a secondary address before I can change. I go into the area where this is done and when I press add it says that the new address is already there. How do I get rid of the hacked address and replace it with the new one (which Mozilla does actually recognize!)?

Using FF 115.12.0esr from openSuse 15.5. Get responses from various web sites that the browser needs an update, that it is no longer supported, etc. Some sites block me out. Another site just now reported the version of my FF is 102--so no wonder it has problems. How can I change the version number that web sites see to reflect the actual update level? Firefox has long been my browser of choice on all platforms. I am switching from Windows to Linux and have recently found problems playing some videos on the Linux version of Foxfire. I don’t know if it’s a matter of having the right codec or something else. The videos play with Chromium on Linux and with Firefox on my Android smartphone. My Linux laptop is running version 128.0 of Firefox for Ubuntu version 24.0.0. Here are two offending links. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkZuGil6U4w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxVcDPtDnjM
I have a doubt that, is this url " https://bugzilla.mozilla.foo/" is inscope on bug bounty?
