Firefox popped up an offer to change the screen to dark, which I did. I don't like it, want to change it back. I went to settings but was unable to make the change.

Hello, i recently upgraded from a 4k monitor to a dual 4k ultrawide monitor, and have been having visual issues specifically on firefox and no other applications. when firefox is out of focus and i have a different window selected, the text in the firefox window becomes blurry

When I use Facebook with my Firefox browser the site just has to many issues. The site keeps hanging up and just sort of stalls out when I try to access messages and notifications that I download from the site. I took the suggestion of clearing my cache. That did nothing. Clearing my history didn't make a difference either. Being this problem doesn't happen with Chrome or Safari, it must be a Firefox problem. So, what more can I do to make using Facebook with Firefox a better experience? Sure would appreciate help.

I didn't know I need to keep a device on if I want to sync my old data. I read it thoroughly. This is annoying, I don't want to lose my Sync data from this because I didn't know. How do you guys retain your Sync data if I were to reset my password? My computer just got fixed and I don't like this greeting of where all my data like history and bookmarks flushed down because I wasn't signed-in in a device nor did I place a key or something.

После этого в мозилле не прогружается полностью окно входа на online.sberbank.ru, не видно содержимого фреймов (сейчас попробую сделать скриншот). В Microsoft Edge работа нормальная. Удаление сертификатов, перезапуск браузера и компьютера не помогли. На других компьютерах ещё не проверял. Посоветуйте, пожалуйста, что можно сделать. Windows 10, Firefox 153.0.3 (64-разрядный).

Hi! I have been using Firefox for quite some time, and as of yesterday I have encountered a problem. Any site I try to watch video on, be it Twitch, Youtube, etc., the videos now pause every 1-2 seconds to buffer for 4-5 seconds. The progress bar at the bottom of the Youtube videos will say they are loaded well passed the point its stopping to "buffer" at, and this is only occurring on Firefox, I have tested other browsers and am not encountering this issue. Troubleshoot mode also doesn't change anything, and neither does private browsing.

i accepted a free trial for vpn. I do not want to be charged for vpn. i dont find vpn usefull. websites dont allow access when Im using vpn. do not add to my account.

Whenever I shop online, when I start to input my credit card number at checkout, the last 4 digits of every credit card I've ever used comes up in Autofill. All I have to do is select one, then select its exp date, and it fills in the slots automatically. I find this very convenient, and I trust that it's secure as long as the site itself is. BUT by now, several of the cards that come up have either expired or are no longer in use. HOW DO I DELETE THEM FROM FIREFOX' AUTOFILL LIST? Please help--I've been unable to find the answer to this Q, though I've thoroughly searched. I'm losing patience. I don't want a lot of unused/expired cards on your Autofill. Thank you! Hello if i backup my data on firefox account then i sign into new device then i again login my email and firefox acc then i did not got my passwords or bookmarks and history again. Then what's the use of that backup ? is that offline or online backup if offline then what if i reset my pc and then login back ? if online then there is no option to backup that data. Help me to get back my data.

Background: On August 6th morning EST after the August 5 2026 update, attempting to use firefox lead to the window with the "end process" button so I had to close the browser multiple times and then the next time I opened firefox, the bookmarks and history were wiped. I was able to restore using a backup saved on the computer and continue as normal (aside from losing some Cookie Clicker progress, reinstalling Tampermonkey userscripts, and redoing browser extension settings) but now there's an issue with trying to backup firefox data.

Issue: Trying to back up my firefox data leads to a "There was a problem backing up. Try again in a few minutes."

When going to about:config and typing browser.backup.backup-debug-info, I get {"lastBackupAttempt":1786243812,"errorCode":9,"lastRunStep":13}

When looking at Broswer Console, there is an entry saying BackupService: Could not create C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Restore Firefox\desktop.ini: NotAllowedError: Could not write to `C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Restore Firefox\desktop.ini': failed to open file for writing (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED) BackupService.sys.mjs:4116:23 but I don't know how to address that.

My Windows 11 PC crashed but i was able to recover copy of my firefox profile. I copied previous profile folders and i am able to access those profiles using firefox.exe -P command.

But profiles don't show up in the new profile switcher. How can i restore them to modern way profiles work.

i don't want to setup accounts and sync for my profiles.

new computer. log into firefox, nothing is saved. pin an app, come back and it's gone. have to log into the app EVERY TIME. have to log into firefox too. why is it not saving anything???

I'm seeking support to try to resolve an issue that has recently started happening. I can't be the only one who is experiencing this, so if this is resolved others can benefit too. I'm not a complete novice, but neither do I claim to be an I.T. expert.

I use my ISP's webmail service to access my emails. I'm aware I could use an email client, but I prefer to access via a web browser and have done so for many years. About a week ago, I was no longer able to sign in to my webmail. I thought it may be a problem with my provider, so I checked using other web browsers - Safari on iOS which worked and Microsoft Edge (using the same internet connection, same desktop PC) which also worked and continues to work without issue. I can only think it must be something wrong with Firefox? I can access the sign in page as normal using Firefox and select my email address, but after attempting to login I always get the same error message:

Sorry, we can't sign you in just now

Don't worry, it's just a quick pause to help keep your account safe.

Instead:

   Use a device you've signed in on before
   Try again from a familiar connection
   If you're on a VPN, switch it off and have another go

I have 2 extensions installed in Firefox - Adblock Plus and Ghostery. I have already added the specific URLs to the allowed websites list (first is the sign in page, second is what it redirects to):

mail2.virginmedia.com oauth.virginmediao2.co.uk

I have searched around for possible solutions, to no avail. Virgin Media advise only signing in on their main home page, but I've never done this as its just another step and extra unnecessary clicks. I don’t want to constantly be bombarded with news, offers and promotions every time I want to check my email, so I only use the direct webmail sign in.

I have tried clearing cache, cookies, etc. Then I tried to refresh Firefox, none of which worked. I also tried uninstalling Firefox, then using CCleaner to perform a clean up and registry scan to fix any possible issues, followed by a clean installation. To my surprise, I was able to sign in to webmail OK. However, the next morning, I got the same error. The only other settings I have tried tweaking is adding exceptions to turn off "Enhanced Tracking Protection" and "Block pop-ups and third-part redirects" on those 2 web addresses.

Any suggestions or options to try would be appreciated.

I’m not tech savvy but Firefox just won’t respond I struggle to get a page to load and sometimes I get empty pages behind each other but don’t know how I get rid of them
