I had to re-installed from 0 my windows. I was sure my Firefox account had all my passwords and logins because I had problems in the past regarding this. Installed Firefox into my new fresh windows. Hit the Sync bottom. Lastly, remove the old Firefox account login from old windows (for safety).

Now I checked password, 0 passwords saved.....

I am trying to re-sync but nothing happens...

My FF browser freezes, suddenly closes all tabs, expands fonts, etc etc All else in my system is normal. Should I just use the default MS Edge and be done with it?

I'm trying to sync my tab groups across my desktop/laptop. I have sync enabled through the settings and I've checked every box, but I don't seem to see an option for syncing tab groups specifically. It syncs all of my bookmarks and active tabs, but the groups seem to be unique to each device. Is this feature available? I might be looking in the wrong spot so if anyone has any insight that would be great! Cheers

it is not set as home page but msn page is automatically opening immediately after login in our network but I could not stop it. Please advise how to stop automatically opening msn page in new tap after logging in.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but speaking to different people, I hear different stories.

I use FireFox and have PiHole installed on a RasPi. REMOTE ACCESS.

There is a window - to call it - where I can enter any fixed IP addresses.

I can only open it a bit (height wise) but am being told it can open a lot more.

I've tried FireFox and Opera. Both don't allow it to open much more. (So really I don't think it is a Firefox problem)

Anyone have PiHole installed?

When I launch the browser, can I not preload tabs that I have not used yet in this session, but which are open from the previous one? This is slowing down my weak PC. I did not find anything about this either on the Internet or in the reference book. Thanks in advance for your answer

I got the above mentioned prompt in prime video and the first thing I did was to rush here and check if anyone else had the same issue and a lot of people did, but the solutions that were provided underneath their tickets didn't seem to help me.

I tried everything, clearing cache and cookies, refreshing firefox, reinstalling firefox, but nothing helped, the same issue was occurring on the firefox app from MS store. I reached out to prime video's customer support but after few weeks of back and forth communication, they put their hands up as well. But they did inform me that "HD 1080p" which used to appear at the bottom left of a video has been removed due to unreliability.

It was one of my reference points to check if a video is actually running at higher definition along with the "Good, Better & Best" in the "Settings" option. But strangely enough it still shows 6.84 GBs per hour in the Best option which it does when a video is running at higher definition.

Hi, as the title says, they stopped displaying after I installed the latest update for firefox for my computer (macbook air with the apple M1 chip). I have checked that in the settings I have "Show an image preview when you hover on a tab" enabled and that in my config I have both browser.tabs.hoverPreview.enabled and browser.tabs.hoverPreview.showThumbnails set to true. What could the issue possibly be now?

Are you aware if there is any reason why firefox seems not to work with https://mycambridge.sso.cambridge.org/ in combination with the google authenticator app. I'd be most grateful for advice, as a longtime firefox devotee, who has to remember to use an alternative browser for this particular combination. Hello I have reinstalled my firefox on a new reinstall of windows 10 as my older version 10 crashed and went to the wall. however I have all my tabs and fafourites up and running but when i try and download my paid version of Nord VPN firefox comes back and says its not secure and wont load the website ? this has been working for me in the past. any advise would be greatfully accepted. thank you.

1.The browser is closed 2.Looking at the task manager, there are still two browser processes (firefox.exe) present and they together take up about 3GB of memory 3.These two processes have no I/O reads and writes. 4.These two processes cannot be concluded. I've tried CMD, Powshell, XueTr, etc., but none of them can free up the memory space occupied by these two processes.

Increasing "network.http.connection-timeout" setting in Firefox to a big number – say, '9000', does not change the time period after which "The connection has timed out" message appears (the default value is '90'). Changing it to '0' makes this message appear even faster than when using the default value.

Please let me how I can increase timeout to a big number.

why does firefox blocks incoming http conection to localhost:8080 when I try to obtain a google oauth2 token using oauth2.py ?. The Google server returns the token via http to loaclhost:8080 and the port is blocked by firefox.
