Everything was normal before the update. When I did the update, the menus changed, the bookmarks disappeared, the new tab key disappeared, how do I get it back to its original state?

Having spent a frustrating weelend being unable to log into Coventry Building Society's online banking app, I 'phoned the this morning to be told they consider Firefox insecure and no longer support its use. The app accepts my username & password, tells me they are going to 'phone me with an access code and then displays "Page not found". Anyone know of any other bank or similar who would believe Firefox to be insecure?

Hey there! System: Windows 10 x64, Firefox Nightly.

Problem: Out of the blue, when I start Firefox Nightly (I think 2-3 days ago), it just crashed with no extra info. I see the "window of the update process", it goes to the middle or to the end, immediately closes and doesn't bring up the Crash reporter. However! When I tried to run a Nightly Installer that I downloaded through Chrome, it quietly runs and then just opens up my browser no problem, profile and all. I checked and it seems to be the exact same .exe file (according to the Task Manager).

So in short: it breaks if I run it straight from my usual shortcut, or with .exe. But if I run the installer myself, the browser opens up fine.

However, the installer didn't bring any new updates that would fix the problem, I have this for 2-3 days now, I don't remember. I start working, I see I didn't fix it and run the installer again.

Any ideas on the fix? I would love to not lose my profile, settings and, if possible, tabs. I'll try disabling all the extensions after I post this, I don't think they contribute, though (seeing how the external Firefox Nightly Installer opens up my browser just fine).

Firefox won't connect to this site I just updated it to the newest version. It works on edge, chrome. It says The page isn’t redirecting properly

I can login to B of A and do everything except reach the make payment page on my PC desktop. I've cleared cache and cookies per B of A instructions but it doesn't help. I can get there on my iPad's Firefox, however. They said to contact you.

Is there a way I can go back to the previous version? This latest update has really slowed my computer in loading everything. It is very frustrating. This is not the first time an update has broken things.

All bookmarks have disappeared from the bookmarks bar under the address bar. The bar itself is displayed, View—Toolbars—Bookmarks bar—Always show is enabled, but it is empty, although I had a lot of things on it, and now nothing can be added to it. The bookmarks themselves from this bar are displayed in the Bookmarks—Bookmarks bar menu with an asterisk. I deleted Mozilla, rebooted the computer, reinstalled Firefox Mozilla several times - bookmarks on the Bookmarks Bar appear, but then disappear again. Also, all icons of installed extensions and Mozilla control buttons, such as Home, Update, Profile and others, have disappeared, and even Create a new tab has disappeared. Dear All,

I need to uninstall Firefox silently from several computers, due to company restrictions. Uninstall must be silent (automatic), because I push the uninstall from Microsoft InTune.

At this stage, using "-ms" or "/S", I can bypass the normal uninstaller prompt, but I still get a Windows warning (from User Access Control), asking autorisation to perform changes on the device.

Can I bypass this prompt as well, so that the uninstall is indeed automatic and silent?

Alternatively do you know of means to modify this at Windows level?

Is there a program to fix firefox after an up date as it now can't browse.. Or is the answer go to Opera. As there seems to be no answers on here. Firefox has been good up until this year as every time it update it has problems or removes most of my stuff I use daily. I have been on my pc for over 3 hours trying to find how to fix it.

I've come on to my computer today to find that whenever I open Firefox it is now adding another Firefox logo to my task bar, under which the new window is opened. I really want the window to be under the Firefox that is on my taskbar already. Right-clicking on the original one shows me all the possible things, like opening a new window or creating a private window, that I can do at a click, whereas the new one only gives me the option to close or pin it.

What happened and how can I fix it? My taskbar is already too full to have duplicate icons whenever Firefox is open.

How come when you add some features in firefox updates, they are not removable for me?!? I am talking about the "extensions" tab and the "list all tabs". Some people might want them for their use but I dont. I should have the option to remove them at my leisure. I dont like this at all that I cant make that decision. Please fix. Thank you.
