My anitvirus software is blocking a website that I use. Its legitimate. How can I unblock it?

Every new version of firefox just gets slower and slower. Now with version 152.4, I try to load a website, it just continuously tries to load, doesn't even if load the page just has those 3 dots to indicate it is loading. Nothing ever loads

I am starting to think switching from firefox is necessary at this point because no other browser has this issue like firefox. No other browser consumes a ridiculous amount of memory like firefox does.

I did adjustments to my anti-virus as recommended, did the settings changes on firefox to speed it up as recommended, still same issue.

When you guys create a new update, please focus on speed over security and ensure it loads faster. I am likely going to revert back to an older update or switch browsers, because I don't care about security so much as actually loading a website.

Why do I get a message that my Administrator is controlling my access when I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR AND ONLY USER? I used to get this on my Win 10 PC and now on Win 11! I don't know how to change settings on Malwarebytes. I got a suggestion to change the setting to use DNS over HTTPS, but it's already set there.

Hello, Iam using Bitdefender Secure Pass as passwordmanager, but since one or two weeks I have problems with the functionality on the laptop. I just can't open it. It is popping up and closing down immediately. Autofill in is not working as well. This is only when I use firefox, in chrome it is working. And on my mobile it is also working in firefox. I deinstalled and reinstalled the add on in firefox already. Afterwards it worked for a short time, but now it is the same again. Does somebody have experience with Bitdefender and an idea what I could do? Thank you in advance. Sabine

I use Adguard app for Windows which causes long page loading times in Firefox due to extended TLS Handshakes. I have installed the Adguard certificate in Firefox, have turned off DOH in Firefox, etc. etc. but, the only way that I can get a page to load in a timely manner is by clicking on "reload current page" twice in Firefox. This is a delay in itself and is very inconvenient. I understand that the incompatibility of Firefox with Adguard is a known problem and am wondering whether Mozilla is working on a solution in cooperation with Adguard?

In Windows 11 taskbar items are as wide as the text label. I want them all shorter (narrower). See how steam and whatsapp are not as wide as firefox? Is there any way to remove or change the website site text description labels in Firefox?

Why am I receiving repeated warnings from Malwarebytes about blocking every-day websites due to a "Trojan"? The sites include Gmail, Ancestry.com, Newspapers.com and others.

The report warnings are being generated by the Malwarebytes program on my PC. They are confusing to me. I am running Windows 11. The warnings are being logged by the Malwarebytes program in the "Web Protection" section of its "Detection History" web page. In every instance, the log reports are the same: in the URL identification column there is no identification of the URL, only repeated instances of "N/A"; the IP address is identical for all the warnings; the port is always "0"; the file column alternates from "C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Mozilla VPN\Mozilla VPN.exe" to "System" and back again to "C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Mozilla VPN\Mozilla VPN.exe"; in the final column of the log, the Date column, the warnings began last evening, Monday the 12th, at 6:50 p.m. and have now extended to to a total nine warnings.

Even as I was writing this communication, the Malwarebytes warning popped up on my screen, telling me that this website and this web page are blocked due to the presence of a Trojan.

Is my PC infected? The Malwarebytes "scan" reports no "detections." I am at a loss.

I have be using Firefox Browser with Norton VPN turned on for a few years now without any problems. I was browsing and got connected to a website, then ever since Firefox stops working when Norton VPN is turned on. I tried uninstalling Firefox completely using software, and reinstalled Firefox it, with no success. The Virus scans are clean. I have a dual boot of Windows 10 and 11. I use Windows 10 the most. I changed to Windows 11 and had no problems with Firefox until I imported bookmarks from Windows 10's Firefox.

i am using avast free antivirus and it is causing firefox to say this in settings in firefox Your browser is being managed by your organization. anyone else using avast free antivirus notice this?

For the past few days hot links in Thunderbird do not open in Firefox. Selecting a link in an email opens or brings to the fore a copy of Firefox with the link address and the wait icon but nothing else happens. I have to close Firefox, copy the link location, Past and Go in Firefox, and then the linked page appears. This behavior happens even in Troubleshoot Mode, so it is not any plugin or customization. I am also running Mozilla VPN. With VPN disabled, hot links in Thunderbird open in Firefox as expected. Now you know where to look.

Also, when I tried to add Troubleshooting Information below, nothing appeared. When I selected to option to be shown what to do, this page was replaced with other which deleted all this text, and now I am entering it all in again, which is severely frustrating. On a page where the user has entered possibly a volume of information, there should not be any sloppy risk of deleting that information due to page mishandling. Open help or assistance information in a separate tab, please. Think ahead about this stuff. You are supposed to be web design experts. Instead your web site spits in my face just when I am asking for help. Think. Plus, I had to get the Troubleshoot information manually so that is not being as automatic as it appears to be , either. Getting help should ideally be a button click, not jumping through hoops.

Hello, Today i launch Firefox and all of my previously opened tabs where gone. Firefox launched with new tab and none of my tabs where there. How can i restore all of my tabs and why this is happening, what is the reason for that? Thank you in advance.

As shown in the image, if I enable "Address Bar - (suggest) Browsing history" option at about:preferences#search page, bunch of subordinate pages are displayed, which is barely useful, in my opinion.

I want to hide them, but I want to keep the auto completion functioning. For instance: I want my Firefox to complete https://youtube.com/ with only typing y, but don't want to see those 'Firefox Suggestion' pages.

Is it possible to set it this way? Or I can't just have it both ways? Please let me know.
