I just bought my boyfriend a new iMac. We are having trouble loading many sites and platforms using the latest Firefox browser. The list is growing but includes Facebook, Meetup, Wikipedia, chess.com, nytimes.com - in all cases, rather than a login screen, we get an error message or a home page loads with no access to other pages or login area. I've cleared the cache, restarted, tried going directly to the site to log in, but nothing works. Everything is fine when using Chrome, but we prefer Firefox. Is this a conflict in the new Apple OS? Is there a fix?

recent firefox update can no longer copy and paste when creating a blog post in Squarespace, I have been using squarespace for around 15 years for my websites and I have never seen this issue, Firefox 15.1 installed and all of a sudden when trying to create a blog post in Squarespace, when I right click a text box pop up and it no longer says paste so I can no longer copy and paste text - this is more than a little annoying, you will not be surprised to know that I am now using Chrome to create my posts, there is no issue in chrome. I am a firefox geek! how can i solve this problem, I just did another update from Firefox, the issue remains I have been using computers for 40 year so I am not a novice but software glitches, I am lost

This was working just fine up until 2 days ago. As the title says, when I close firefox, it is now no longer restoring my tabs from my previous session. Closing via the x does not give me the option to restore my previous session.

I have:

Tried unchecking the box, closing firefox, opening it again and rechecking the box. No success.

Uninstalled firefox, restarted my computer, and reinstalled firefox. Still no success.

I am open to further suggestions.

Anyone else having issues with facebook reels/videos not loading?

In my feed, most of them just show a black frame and if I click on them, the screen goes black also.

can not copy and past in ebay descriptions when trying to make a listing .Also can not type in the description box will work on edge trying to list but can not as i can put information in description box. Tried on edge works fine. turned off enhanced protection still same.

In during a search this problem has happen before after updates

Not sure if this is a Linux or Firefox issue, but here goes. In the past when uploading pictures for instance in Gmail I got a menu showing places EG pictures, video's etc. Example - home - pictures- cats - black cats - list of jpg's, click attach. When attaching another pic from the same folder etc it used to default to the same folder location with the list of jpg's.

With the last few FF updates that isn't the case any more, when next attaching a pic file I now have to start again from scratch EG home, pics, cats, black cats instead of click attach straight to list of jpg's in back cats.

Is there anyway I can configure FF back to the old setting please?

I asked a question last night about whether or not Firefox had an IP Address. Sounded silly, but I was dealing with an unfamiliar IP. I did eventually find apps that locate IP Addresses. Problem solved . Just want to thank James for taking the time to respond to my question.

We can not delete bookmarks after trying everything I know. Re: restarted in troubleshoot, cleared the history and cookies etc. Do we have to uninstall and then reinstall to fix it? If not, how do we fix it?

before v151.0.2, didn't have a problem with firefox, now with this new release, it is really really slow, takes some time to start and load pages. what happened??

I am having trouble with the leftmost column on several sites. In yahoo email, I want to see my sidebar(?) that shows my folders etc. Even though the double-arrow symbol appears, it will not let me make that column narrower. It takes up much more room than necessary and prevents me from seeing things at the right edge. Now a parallel problem is occuring on the Zillow website. They have a column on the far left that is suddenly 4 times as wide as before, and it won't let me adjust it. I can't see the important info in the other columns. In both cases when I try to zoom out, instead of any change in the columns' respective widths, it just makes the print smaller. What can I do?

Just getting started using Mozilla features after many years absence. So much has changed! I have yet to decide what I need help with. All of it! So let me proceed on my own to figure this out and return for support when I feel I need it most, and more importantly, when I feel I feel I have the time and energy to devote to the learning curve required.

google blocking Firefox download. What do I do? When I open the downloaded browser app icon from Google store the browser changes to Google and Firefox is not in the drop down list either.

After most recent Windows 11 and Firefox updates, Firefox will not open on my PC. I thought I had managed to Refresh it today Troubleshooting Mode - got a "Success" message - but that message was overlaid with a box that wanted me to agree to terms and conditions, etc. and when I clicked the Continue button, nothing happened. So I had to close what little of Firefox was on my screen; got the Not Responding message, then the Close or Wait message (waiting is useless), so I hit Close and the error was again reported to Windows (big whoop). Should I uninstall Firefox and start over???? I have no clue how to save all my bookmarks and associated passwords.
