Hello, I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox, and I can't print a PDF with two-sided and flipped on the long edge. It only flips on the short edge (that's weird...). I know it is possible with my printer because I used to do it with Chrome. How can I print two-sided and flipped on the long edge ? Thanks for your help !

Hello, I don't find any solution on the web When i restart my computer, Firefox is totally "empty" (= "from zero") : no passwords, no cookies, no nothing... Maybe someone knows what to do ? thx a lot ! :)

When I want to save a bookmark, I usually go through "choose". It seems to give me folders sometimes only open to the first level, sometimes to second and third levels. This behaviour seems random. I want to see only the top-level folders, it would make saving bookmarks quicker. How to achieve this?

I have the latest version of Firefox operating on Windows 10.

Suddenly, when I try to login in to my bank website, I get that I have entered the wrong password, it sends me to a second login page and I have to re-enter the password to get in. The bank says there is a problem with too many cookies being saved but didn't know how to fix it in Firefox. I never had this problem before either with the bookmark or by typing in the address. This is the only site that I have this problem.

A few days ago, I started suddenly to have a problem. Whenever I try to access one given site, through the toolbar or by typing its name, I am redirected to an other one, which is not malignant. How can I fix this ?

Suddenly ducksuck privacy essentials is running in my firefox install. 1) I don;t want that 2) I was never asked if I wanted that 3) FF downloaded a file without my permission 4) how do I FORBID firefox to download extensions, add-ins, themes or what ever by itself?

When I try to open some websites for eg:offensive-security it is showing pr_end_of_file_error message . And when I ping it I got Network not reachable. I did all things from flushing caches to reconfiguring network but the problem still persists. Please help ?

I am currently on Firefox 84.0 on Windows 10.

Every time I download any type of file, Firefox puts the file inside of (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local > Temp. This is extremely frustrating because I have to manually move the files to my 'Downloads' folder every time I download a new file. I have changed my settings numerous times. In Options > General > Files and applications. I have selected the "Save files to" and I have changed it to many different locations and my files still end up in (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local >Temp. I have even resorted to selecting the setting "Always ask you where to save files." After closing and reopening the browser, I try to download something and Firefox never prompts me to select a download location (Contrary to my settings). Firefox just automatically downloads the file and puts it in (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local > Temp.

After looking for solutions online I have went into "about:config" and I found out that "browser.download.dir" was already set to "C:\Users\tmmor\Downloads" (My intended location) and "browser.download.lastDir" was already set to the same location. I have also set "browser.download.useDownloadsDir" from false to true. Firefox still puts my downloads into (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local > Temp.

I am also the administrator on my device. I am not aware of any windows settings that are blocking Firefox from putting my downloads into my "Downloads" folder. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome put my downloads into my "Downloads" folder every single time I download something, why cant Firefox do the same?

I also do not believe that any of my extensions or plug-in's are causing this issue, I have very few extensions and plug-in's.

Firefox is persistent at saving my downloads to (C:) > Users > tmmor > AppData > Local > Temp. I have never gotten Firefox to save my downloads to my intended location (The downloads folder). Can anyone please instruct me how to resolve this issue. This is my last resort to solving this problem, nothing has worked for me. Thank you for your time, this experience has been stressful for me.

Hello All, this is to inform you that my Firefox got infected with something causing an interference with my bank account. I could logon into the https site of my bank with my banking credentials. Normally I see my account status directly after the logon. In this case onla after a couple of seconds a message is popping up that because of Online Banking Frauds the procedure will change. The only way to proceed is to click on Next. On the next page credentials for a Demo Account are displayed. The only way to proceed is to click on Next again. Then I'm asked to enter a TAN for a Demo Transfer of 9215.54€ . I called my bank and they could verify that I'm still on their https and that if I proceed definitly transfer the above amount to an other bank accout. Bank IT told me that on their site anything is right and it must be an issue on my PC. I tried logons to my bank account with IE and Opera and don't get the fraud pages. With firefox I always are led to the "DEMO Transfer".

Did you expierenced something like that already?

I have been experiencing lately quite few Firefox crashes that bring down the entire (desktop) Windows OS in a brutal manner: complete system lockup, instant reboots (no blue screen).

These seem related to the audio and video interactions with the host system - streaming musinc online (siriusxm.com) or engaging in graphic intensive activities. This supposition propmpt me to perform few hardware tests - memory, GPU, audio card,etc. Everything checks out fine with the basic test and diagnostic tools I've used.

The worse system crashes have happened while on the https://buckhill.com/tubing-2/snow-tubing/ wesbite trying to purchase passes. Along the way for signing the waiver, the site brings up a graphical pad for capturing the guest's signature using the mouse. Several attempts have ended with horrendous system crashes (I had to locate the hardware reset button on my system, which took a while), never in the same spot in the process. Similar issues have happened on my wife's laptop (Windows 10 OS) while using Firefox on this site. I had to use a different browser to complete this purchase, for both my kids sanity and my system health. (for whomever is interested in troubleshooting this site, just follow the prompts and add guests - the purchase step is the very last one).

I should mention that Firefox' own crash page (about:crashes) shows no sign of any crashes. Other times, the Firefox window just dissappears without any warning, and no traces of crash information in Firefox nor OS event system. My system is configured to save a memory minidump in the event of crashes - there were none.

In this context, I could be wrong, but narrowed the culprit down to Firefox itself. In my opinion, whatever Firefox is doing to bypass OS basic protection mechanisms (and let's be honest - on Windows these can be better) and cause such hard failures are a dangerous vulnerability that should be investigated.

Any ideas and suggestions on diagnosing this or what to capture for aiding with troubleshooting, are appreciated.

I am trying to publish designs to amazon and I get the following error message over and over

I can upload to the amazon site but I can't publish.

I have no idea how to fix this quickly. I have a deadline coming up and I so stuck.

Hi, Is there a way (via about:config or userChrome.css) to remove the blue rectangle around login forms ? This is very ugly, not even symmetric (on the right side is not the same) ...

I have used Roboform password manager with FF for years. Within the last 6 months, Roboform's toolbar no longer automatically displays below FF when I open FF. I have to force it to by going into RF options and dragging the RF icon onto FF (see attached screen shot). As shown in the image, RF and/or FF doesn't even think RF is installed! But it is. I've contacted RF multiple times, and they claim they're working on it. I wonder if anyone in the FF community has the same problem. Thanks for any help. Steve

When I use Firefox, the Criterion Channel won't feed the film to my TV monitor. The message denies access because I'm using an HDMI cable to connect the TV and laptop.

I get no such message when I used Safari and can view the film on the same TV monitor connected with the same HDMI to my Macbook Pro. Why does Safari work when Firefox doesn't?

Good afternoon people. I consult them. I have used the uBlock Origin extension for years for the ad blocking issue. I also understand that it blocks trackers. My question is, using this extension, what function does the "Tracking Protection" provided by the browser? Can both work together? Or is it not recommended?
