Running FF beta 17 - I go to tools & click addons. Nothing happens - will not open. clicked control/shift/a = same fail. sorry - I cleared cache/cookies + used avg pro to clean + restarted windows 7 64 X and FF = still fail - I see this similar problem historically happened with FF 6 and others. What is wrong? Thx!

I am on arch linux i386, firefox update from 15 to 16.0.1 erased all my extensions. I tried to install them again, also tried it with the firefox 17beta, nothing works. If I could find the binaries for v15 to check if it is the same there I would try it.

My profile is still loaded, bookmarks and history is here, but all addons are gone.

Hi, I was looking for help from two weeks now. Still can't solve this! :( My javascript is enabled, reinstalled java.com too. I deleted all my temp, history, cookies, removed add-ons, disabled kaspersky, checked it all in safe mode, installed firefox beta and all that..... now I'm just mad. The problem is javascript, I suppose, here are examples of sites that are not working for me: wireimage.com (trying to search or click on the thumbnail, where link is javascript:void(); - nothing happens) or viddy.com ie. http://www.viddy.com/video/b604f3a9-9b7d-4e60-bc7c-7bfe4ba89cf2?source=Featured where I should see play icon and video should load, but all I can see is black image. I have many sites like this. It's buggin me very much, that I'm very close to get chrome and delete firefox forever. Please help me! What I have to do to make it work again?

Whenever I choose to website "http://www.dittomusic.com/dittomusic" the Firefox "wyciwgn" performs some type of redirect then shows the note: "Transferring data www.google-analytics.com ". The page never loads and the message does not go away. This happens on other websites too. The particular latest webpages displays wyciwgn://1/http://www.dittomusic.com/dittomusic , My virus scans indicate zero issues and also our virus software is updated.

This site renders OK in IE 7+, Any suggestions about what is going on right here? Can there be something which requires enabling or disabling?

Periodically, including right now, Firefox displays the Google search navigation tree horizontally verses the usual vertical layout/display. I've noticed it tends to be after a computer restart, and obviously isn't always an issue.

The horizontal navigation limits display options particularly in Google images compared to the vertical.

I can find nothing online to tell me whether migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 8 will cause me significant problems in running FF (latest beta version) with extensions. Is this likely to be a major, minor or non-issue?

first i removed header and footer, and set the all margins to be found in about:config(Linux) or in Dialog (Windows) to zero.

On all html documents i get a little gap on the top of the first page, but not on the second one. The gap appears on paper print, on file print(PDF) and on preview - under firefox (17.0) for Linux and Windows. IE 8 on windows has other abnormalities, but equal top margin on all printed pages.

How can i remove this difference top margins between first page and the following once in firefox ?

Hello. I want to get off of the beta channel but have run into a snag. I went to uninstall FF prior to reinstalling, but there is only a FF 15 listed in my Control Panel and this will not initiate an uninstall. My browser shows that I am on v 17. I am wanting to opt out of the beta as flash is continually crashing. Then it will work for a couple of days, then an update hits and back to the same problems. I'm not sure if I should just do an install as I don't want to lose my settings etc. Thanks very much.

i´m usung version 17.0 and it´s impossible remenber paswords for sites, I have Master Password andsaved passwords.

Somehow I changed the new tab feature so that the Yahoo search engine opens when I open a new tab. I uninstalled the Yahoo toolbar and now the new tabs open blank. I want to get back the feature with the pushpins!

I've gone under the Customize options screen and moved it to where I want it, however every time I'm done editing, the icon is still on the far right side of my screen. However I want it on the left so that as I open folders within my Bookmarks they all lay out nicely. Not each box on top of the other as it's currently doing. Am I stuck with it on the right or do I need to reinstall Firefox?

I opened "Help > About Firefox" to check which version I was running.

It said 16.0.2 and "You are currently on the release update channel."

Then while I was watching it upgraded to 17.0.

1. Now "Tools > Add-ons" no longer works.

2. I thought 17.0 was a beta. If so why did it download it when I'm on the release channel?

3. when I go to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/ and click the big green "Firefox Free Download" button it downloads this 16.0.2 version:

which again implies that I should be on 16.0.2, not 17.0

After updating today (11/20/2012) to Firefox 17.0, when I click the Add-ons link in the toolbar, nothing happens. I can click downloads and the window opens, same for everything else except Add-ons. Any ideas on how to get it to work?

Just updated to FF17.0 and the fonts look awful, something like when the ClearType is enabled in Windows. I have ClearType disabled cause I hate the look of the fonts with it enabled, and now Firefox looks like it's all over it. Font is like bolded. What happened? Can I disable it somewhere in Firefox?

Tools -> Add-ons menu does not work (Neither does the Ctrl-Shift-A keyboard shortcut, nor the Add-ons button in the Tools-Options-General tab).

Similarly, the Help-'Report Feedback' option doesn't have any effect. Ditto for 'Help-Troubleshooting'. Other menu options like Tools-Downloads and Tool-Setup Sync work fine however.
