Greetings and Good evening Windows was reset on 03/06/2026 due to problem. Option chosen was removal of Apps only No data was removed When Mozila was opened on 03/06/2026,It had all data since 2021. It was already registered with -removed-@gmail.com. Still history and bookmarks from 2021 were not restored. On 02/06/2026,0ne drive back up was also initiated. Please guide me as how to restore this.

I am attempting to copy a FF profile from a Windows 11 machine I created it and am using it on to a brand new windows 11 machine on which I have also just installed FF on. Both machines are at FF 150.0.3. I have done a search online for the methods to do this but they have both failed for me.

The first one I tried was simply copying the profile from the existing (source) machine to the profile folder in the new machine however FF never recognized the copied profile on the new machine (I am using profile manager on both machines).

I then tried copying the profile using the method we used to use a while back to copy profiles which is to let profile manager create a new profile in the new machine, open FF so that it creates that new profile in the profiles folder then delete the contents of that profile leaving it as an empty profile (with the name of the newly created FF profile). Then, I selected and copied the *entire contents* of the source profile I was trying to copy and pasted them into the newly created profile I had just zero'ed out on the new machine so that the new profile now had the exact same contents as the source profile. I knew this copy was successful because it took a while to copy all of the data from the source profile to the new profile and the indicator showed it copying.

Again, FF did not recognize the new profile when I opened FF with the name of the new profile in the prof mgr.t.

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what the problem may be? One problem I had when I first copied the source profile to my 32GB USB drive was a message saying "inbox folder is too big for destination system. " The source profile is 12.72 GB so there is plenty of room on the USB drive for it to fit. I have no idea why FF would have an inbox file so I just skipped it. The rest of the profile copied to completion once I did that but its size after copying was now only 7.65 GB, about 5 GB less than the original. Could this be my problem and if so, how do I fix it? My mac froze, force quit did not work, unplugged it, turned it back on, all bookmarks were gone and not able to add new ones. Would like to restore old bookmarks and add new ones.

Firefox updated on my macbook pro running Sequoia 15.5 but failed to restore my previously open windows. The option to restore previous session was missing. How can I get my previously open windows back, bearing in mind I'm not not a computer nerd? Thank you, Edouard.

When I opened my Firefox browser this morning, all of my bookmarks were gone, the ones in the bookmark menu and the ones on the toolbar. I am unable to get any bookmark to save.

The entire browser was acting extremely slowly, on every website, every start up. It crashed constantly to the point it was unusuable, it was even affecting the performance of the rest of my pc so I reset it and everything I had on the browser disappeared. Bookmarks, passwords, etc. I've tried going through the profile support pages but only the profile made from the reset exists. I had years worth of important bookmarks and passwords that'd I'd like to be able to get back if that's at all possible. (I'll live without them, it'll just suck trying to remember them all again) PC is Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14, Windows 10

I am changing from Win 11 to Linux Mint and want to use as much of my Win Ff profile there... What can I trnansfert, and how, where will I find Ff extensions for Linux?

Before reinstalling Windows, I made a backup, but since I didn't update the system until a day later due to work, I forgot the backup password. I've tried every password I could think of, and I don't know what to do now.

With the new Firefox updates I no longer see my bookmarks. I tried the FAQ's and suggestions but I don't understand them. I need my bookmarks back ASAP! Tried ctrl-shift-B it did nothing.

EVERY timne I open your damned rotten system I lose ALL my hundreds of vital bookmarks and it takes me half a day fiddling about to recover them STOP IT. For goodness sake you are ruining my life. STOP IT!!!!!!!

GET ME A LIFE PLEASE. DESPERATE. HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP!

I lost all my data after installation of new firefox. I have lots of important data in that profile.

I forgot the password to sign in and when I reset, a new profile was created for me and all my data are gone.

Now, I even know the original password. I did not know, I will lose my data. How can I get my data back? Please help.

Windows 11 Firefox crashed on opening continuously so unable to safe open etc. Did update intel graphics to no avail. Uninstalled in add programs in settings. Did not choose to delete data. Reinstalled and now can't find my profile.

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN, I HATE HAVING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY TABS DISAPPEAR WHENEVER IT CLOSES WEIRDLY AND I LITERALLY CANT RECOVER ANYTHING, AND IT GIVES ME SOMETHING NEW, WHAT THE HELL EVEN IS THIS FIRST FILE, I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN THAT JSONLZ4 FILE E V E R!!! AND WHEN I TRIED TO DO THE SAME METHOD OF REPLACING THE FILES WITH ONE OF THE OLD RECOVERY FILES LIKE IN MY OLD QUESTION, IT DOESNT FUCKING WORK, SORRY TO SWEAR BUT ITS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS DUDE!!!

Firefox crashed and now my shortcuts have gone and the bookmarks are not easily accessible. I tried importing from the desktop but they are now in a long list and not as they were (in the toolbar. I can't gt the "bookmark summary" showing in the toolbar area.
