About:performance results. As an aside help section says About:performance should show up in menu/more and it does not. Do not care about that one but the slow loading of pages , twenty to thirty seconds vs. less than 1 on other browser and sister machine are driving us to another browser.

No may be about it, yes they are. Used to load in a blink and still do in Edge browser and on sister machine.

I've followed all the advice I can find which typically tells me how to access the bookmarks toolbar menu, and to tick it. It seems like something other than that as, like I say, the sidebar work just fine, but not the toolbar. I'd love to get this fixed!

Every version of Firefox since 62.0.3 has been unstable on my system to the point of being completely useless. The crashes I suffer from were clearly introduced in the transition from 62.0.3 to 63.0, because every version from 63.0 to 70.0 has been unusable, and every time reverting to 62.0.3 gives me back a working browser. (By 'unusable' I mean crashing literally within a few seconds of starting up).

However, 62.x is now so ancient that if I can't have a working version of Firefox soon I will have to give it up in favour of something more modern and secure!

Please can you investigate and fix this issue!

This morning, everything was hunky dory. Now suddenly all sorts of websites I frequent don't work. I go to armorgames.com and it says "The connection is untrusted" and the technical details say "www.armorgames.com uses an invalid security certificate". If I tell it to override, none of the flash games load. I go to the manga website taadd.com and the same thing happens. If I tell it to override, none of the images load, and the page looks like badly columnated and badly formatted text. I go to mitsuku.com, the chatbot, and the program starts, and it gives me a choice over the formats of display, and it shows the disclaimer, which is part of the flash program, and then it says please wait a moment, and then it says "sorry, my chat function is currently offline and so I am unable to talk with you." I check on stocks at money.cnn.com/data/premarket and it's all messed up, like taadd.com was, with it just a bunch of badly collated text. Other websites work, for instance the game site novelgames.com works just fine, and the flash games load just fine. Youtube works. Gmail works.

I have it set to not save any cookies or history, have done it this way for years. So clearing cache is pointless, it clears when I close firefox.

I have reset my computer, doesn't fix it. It simply was working just fine early this morning and then a few minutes later it suddenly didn't work. I'm typing this up on a different computer.

Searching about this online, it is suggested that it might have something to do with antivirus programs, but I don't have much of an active antivirus program. I have iolo going in the background. A fat lot of good it did me in 2014 when I got a ransomware virus. It's pretty useless. But I also haven't updated it or messed with it in a long time, I just let it do its thing. I also have firefox set to not update, because I don't need to deal with that.

I can go to these sites with the dreaded internet explorer, or "evil explorer" as I call it, but that is a last recourse.

So what's the deal? What can I do about it? And do you need any additional information to figure this out?

I can take a screenshot and I will see it in screenshots but when I click on the icon to see all of my other screenshots it seems to be stuck on a loading screen and never opens. Also the heart icon that was there so I can save shots indefinitely disappeared weeks ago and I'd like to get it back.

Hi. I am trying to bring back mi lovely multirow tabs. I've found some information on the web about CSS and file userChrome.css and maybe I could win this war, but Firefox is still beating me all the way :) 1. What I need: I need tabs in multiple rows (3 or 4). If tabs quantity is more than can fit in this rows I want an arrow buttons to scroll this list up and down. All other tabs should be out-of-bound of the tabs container. 2. What I've done:

I maid some changes in userChrome.css like this:

3. What I've got: When I maid my humanity-less experiments in Browser inspector, everything was not so bad. I almost did what I want (see attached screenshot.8.png). I had a limited by 3 rows tab bar. Scroll buttons didn't react on single mouse click but double click scrolled something and somewhere (even with grayed left scroll button). But after Firefox restart I always getting the same: tabs panel looks strange, scroll buttons are absent (see screenshot.9.png). Nothing helps at all but only after comment-and-then-immediately-uncomment "display" property in "#tabbrowser-tabs .arrowscrollbox-scrollbox " section in userChrome.css using Browser inspector I get back to screenshot.8.png.

4. What I ask you: HEEELP! I've never did anything in web, html5 and CSS (learning it for the last 4 days). And I really can't understand different Firefox behavior after restart and then after "reDisplay". It seems like a bug. Help me not to break my keyboard :)

Will you please stop sending me notices telling me that my version is out of date. I do not want you updates. I do not want you to monitor in any way my internet usage. I've an online service where I download large XML files. After clicking on the download button the page is loading for a long time (file is generated on demand), than a new window/tab is opened with the download URL and is loading for a long time. Than Firefox crashes: "Gah. Your tab just crashed."

How do I get info what the problem is? Is the file to big for the XML renderer? Or any other?

FF does not offer to save the password for www.medicare.uhc.com/aarp, however, it remembers the login name. What is strange about this, is that, Chrome does remember the password. Any help on this one? Thanks

All my bookmarks disappeared after Firefox did an update. I have read all the articles and looked at all the solutions I can find on here and nothing seems to work. Where did they go? WHY did they go? I want them back.

I'm using firefox and want to analyse the request/response of a page.

Is there a way to open the Developer tools - namely "Network" - before entering/opening the page (Automatic opening second tab).

Otherwise it would not be possible to track the traffic correct.

Hello, I recently moved to Firefox from another browser and I am very pleased with it. My usage is that my computer remains on 24/7 with the browser open. I saw a paragraph in the help docs:

"Firefox's memory usage may increase if it's left open for long periods of time. A workaround for this is to periodically restart Firefox."

However this can be inconvenient when you have several tabs open that are logged in to various sites for work, which also retain state which is not restored when the browser is restarted.

Over a few days the memory "leaking" (?) is mounting up significantly as per attached. In summary:

Pre close - system RAM usage 12.5GB Post close browser - system RAM usage 8.1GB (4.4GB drop!!) Re-open browser with same tabs - system RAM usage 8.7GB (actually 9.0GB after all tab views were accessed and put back into the state they were in before closed)

From this simple test I can see that 12.5GB - 9GB = 3.5GB was hogged by the browser and not actually required.

As a developer I am interested to understand the reason for this memory leaking. Is there anything I can do while the browser is open to free it up? Or cause it to not "leak" in the first place?

Upgraded to Firefox 63.0 and all of a sudden started to see extreme sluggishness on every website I visited, especially Facebook, YouTube and some auction sites. I played around with the security settings, because this is what I saw changes in from my previous browser version to this new one, and that did not correct the sluggishness. I removed 63.0 and went back to my last browser 62.0.3 and bam, sluggishness gone. What changes were made that could have made this occur?

Firefox issued another update today, to 62.0, but this additional new update still did not fix Netflix bug: Error Code: F7121-1331-P7 Is anyone in this forum able to escalate the bug report to address this problem with Netflix?

I need to get back my save logins! And it says to reset my password I will lose everything!! How can this happen? I can not find anywhere were I can contact anyone! HELP!!
