Every time I try to make or receive a call it asks for permission to use microphone in Gmail Hangouts https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox . I have it set to "Allow". https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox When a call comes in or I try to make one it does not have the check mark box "Always Allow" on the little pop up window as I have seen before. I can set it to always allow by right clicking the chat window and page info, yet it keeps on asking for permission to use. -- It DOES show as being allowed both in the list in Options and when you check the page Info.
I thought maybe it has something to do with Flash ending, but when I use Hangouts on the Hangouts page: https://hangouts.google.com/ it works fine. And yes, I have removed all cookies and cache several times. Another thing I noticed is that you can't add any pages manually in the options. Not sure if that is related. Note that I use Firefox and Windows 7 .

Normally when I close three windows with a number of tabs, they open up without any problem. Sometimes I open one of the closed windows by opening recently closed windows. This time nothing comes up. And the recently closed windows (and tabs) is empty. Also, Bing has become my home page, which I would never chose myself. It happen 7th December 2019.
Any Idea what casuses this. It is very anoying, since I cant remember all websites I visited or rather saved.

LastPass was installed and running until Firefox automatically upgraded to ver. 71 and now it's been disabled. Even though LastPass is a "recommended" extension, when I try to re-install from Mozilla I get the message "an unexpected error occurred during installation" (see attached file). LP users report the same problem on their site but it's clearly a Firefox 71 problem (LP works fine will all my other browsers).

Well seems Firefox has been messing this up again.
Anyone have the new work around solution to get my tabs back on the bottom again. They were fine this morning then shut down and went out to lunch and when I came back they were back on the top again after months of being where I wanted them below my bookmark bar.
Thoughts on this?

Instead of results I get a 404 page and the url seems to be coming out wrong which may be the problem(?): https://images.google.com/images?q=fox&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls={moz:distributionID}:{moz:locale}:{moz:official} And the 404 error reads "images not found on this server" but it worked before, and this just started happening today. I have tried to enable two-step authentication for Firefox using Authy 2-factor Authentication app for several times, but to no avail. Prior to trying to enable it for Firefox, I succesfully enabled two-factor authentication for my Facebook, Google and Microsoft accounts. After trying it for Firefox, I also did it for my PayPal account, so the Authy app doesn't seem to be the problem here. I tried typing the six numbers with and without space in between and multiple times in two consecutive days, bot nothing seems to work. I read the QR code succesfully and added Firefox on Authy, but the code just always seems to be incorrect (I'm not sure how to translate it in english, I am using Firefox in Finnish, see the attached image). I censored all the codes in the image.
I would really like to get this to work, as two-step authentication seems to be a good way to make my account a lot more secure.

I'm trying to restore my bookmarks after reinstalling Windows 10. They were saved in a windows.old file on my Passport. I used the Import and Backup button, selected Restore, and choose my file. It's a json file. It then gave me an error message "unsupported file type."
BTW, the file ends in .jsonlz45dd510a6. It's not recognized as a json file, so I had choose 'all files" and then highlighted it to select it, and received the above error message. I then tried making a copy but omitting the letters and numbers after .jason, and tried using that, but got an error message "unable to process the backup file."

I have done everything that is in the support answers, but to no avail. When I open FF in my jalopy (10 yr old computer), all my current bookmarks, and history for the past 5 years are still there. After copying the profile, and the entire Mozilla folder (separate attempts), and over-copying the folder in my new computer, there is no change; the files only go back to when I first installed FF on it. None of your support answers say anything about whether to copy the jalopy files into the local, or roaming folders, so I copied it into both. Still no difference.
In a related migration/replace problem, I cannot sync my new computer with the old, even though they're both in the same account name. The jalopy and new computer names are both recognized in the jalopy, but the new computer doesn't pick up the old computer name. This was the first thing I tried to reconcile the two machines. I am extremely frustrated, and at my wits end dealing with this problem. Any reasonable assistance and solutions are appreciated. Thank you.
P.S. If there is a response, will I receive an email or message on my FF account, or do I have to read through 800 instances to find the answer?
