Hello- Wondering how to turn off the "skip to main content" that continually pops-up on some web sites. This is a problem on a single Firefox installation and I cannot figure out which setting this could be.

Suddenly, when I go to send e-mails (to me, or anyone else) I get a pop up signal that says I can't send it because it might be questionable, etc. What do I do send my e-mails since none of them are "scam" or "questionable".?

The Government has to keep changing. "for our Security". We have accounts with the Veterans Affairs medical stuff for our medical stuff. NOW we had to move to Login.Gov or another website. It was horrible, but I FINALLY got the Olde Marine & Myself 2 Different accounts (i.e. 2 different email addresses) in Login.gov. VA has continued making changes & since Friday I can not get into "My Healthy Vet

i.e. I go through the steps & when I type in the e-dress & password MY PHONE SHOULD RING with a numeric code.  Once I type in the Numeric Code, I can continue to scramble around trying to access our pharmacy or our 'care team' in the VA system.

I watch the screen, nothing happens. I wait for the phone call nothing happens. I look in my email box & there is a message from Login.Gov that a code was sent to me. NOPE.

I have no idea why. as a cat like nosy person, I am always needing to know why. What is wrong? Is it the government & if so forget it as they most likely won't answer the phone. Is it Charter Spectrum? Is it Mozilla Firefox? (whine) I am beyond my paygrade here. Please someone who can talk to olde Phartes... MAYBE this could be SPECTRUM/Charter??? They are a royal pain in the tush. sending mail to spam that is not & ignoring that I tell them it is real; changing font sizes when I am typing; & other crummy stuff.

I updated my firefox to Version 143.0.4 (64-bit). (I am using Mac). I was trying to change my wallpaper, so I went to the pencil and customize part of the new tab, and when I look at the wallpaper thing, I just see that it says "Reset to default". I didn't see any of the things that said upload image or any of that. just reset to default. I really wanted to change my wallpaper, so is there something I'm missing or something?

The disabled feature still has a picture in the picture when unchecked. How do I stop picture-in-picture for videos playing in Firefox? Yes, went into settings and unchecked picture in picture, yes, the problem still exists.

Been trying to retrieved misplaced bookmark folders not bookmarks themselves in the Bookmarks Library with no success even going down several sub-levels; Would be nice if there were a search function, but will take a step-by-step solution. Thanks!

Latest update on Ubuntu force reset the sidebar. Reminder for those that do not want, the process to remove it is:

• Go into about:config in the address bar,
• search for sidebar.revamp,
• set it to false.

I upgraded my Dell PC to Windows 11 yesterday via Windows Update, since support for Windows 10 is ending. Now Firefox crashes often when I close the browser. Everything works fine while I'm using Firefox, it's only when I close the browser that sometime later I will get a crash message on my desktop. I have tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, and the problem persists. From what I can tell, there's some process which is ongoing after the browser is closed, which isn't terminating properly and that's why it's crashing. I have selected Duck Duck Go as my default search engine in the settings for Firefox. But when I open my Firefox browser it shows the MS Bing homepage and NO drop down box for other search engines. How can I fix this? This is an initial installation of Firefox on a new Acer Aspire computer running Windows 11.

When I go to YouTube to watch videos the Vid's always stop after a short time. The refresh page and back buttons do not work and neither does the ability to click on any links on the page. I have to close the tab and start again. The issues still occur on new tabs. Eventually I have to close FireFox altogether but when I try to open FireFox again it does not work or takes a few minutes and sometimes the message Firefox is still running. At times I have had the sound of the videos, when they do play, from YouTube still playing even when the browser is closed.
