I've started to use Thunderbird in Dark Mode and really like it. However, people receiving my emails have started to complain that the messages they were receiving from me were with a dark background and white letters, which they found disturbing (nobody's perfect...).
Still, due to the reactions and because emails are about communicating with others, I have had to move back to Light Mode, as it seems that the Dark Mode features are embedded in the emails sent with Thunderbird.
To please everyone the solution would be
- to have the emails I receive and I prepare both in Dark Mode,
- to have the emails they receive and I send in Light Mode, as not everyone seems ready (yet) to adopt Dark Mode.
It is possible to de-entangle the emails I send from the Dark Mode I use to write them ?
I could not find a way to select such settings and were wondering if they exist at all.
Thanks for your feedback
PS. Forced to go back to Light Mode, the email address and webpage links now appear in yellow in both the emails I send and I receive. Yellow with a white background is a bit tricky so that if someone can point at a way to address this, it would at least allow me to go back to a full Light Mode rather than this inconvenient hybrid mode... :)
