146.0 (64-bit) Windows 11 December 11, 2025 Turned on computer this am, Firefox webpage popped up telling me about what is in it's future but now my side bar is black print on really dark background. Help!

Hello, I love the new mascot wallpaper on desktop (and I hope we get more), but when will we see the wallpapers on mobile? I also would would a downloadable version of those wallpapers. Thanks!

It looks an update occurred but now my bookmarks Column has a white background with white type. I can't read anything there because its all the same color how do I change the background to black?

I just set up a computer with Debian 13 'Trixie', and I downloaded and installed the latest Firefox for Linux (version 145) from Mozilla's site.

Then I noticed at first that it wasn't following my GTK theme. Then after testing a bit, I discovered it would respect only themes with names that end in "-dark". I've taken some screenshots and attached them to demonstrate the problem.

firefox-esr from Debian's repositories didn't have this problem. But also, I've got another computer that still has an older distro (Debian 11) installed, and I'm running the latest firefox 145 on that too, and it always respects my GTK theme regardless of whether its name ends in "-dark". So, perhaps this is a GTK/GTK4 problem or something?

Does anyone know about this issue, can anyone help? I would really like Firefox to respect my choice of theme regardless of whether the theme's name ends with "-dark" or not.

I don't remember when it started but text that wasn't underlined before such as: Names of shortcuts in new tab view Titles of YouTube videos on home page, and recommended while watching a video (not on the video itself) Reddit titles and usernames (old UI)

I have checked settings as best as I can and tried disabling all extensions but still have the issue.

Hello, Until the weekend, my firefox home screen has a row or bar across the top that had File - Edit - View - Bookmarks - Tools - etc. (see 'firefox' image attached) Now that row is gone (see second screenshot) Can someone tell me how to get it back please? I tried searching for this but, as I have no idea what this row is called, I came up blank. Thanks Chris

I would like to further customize my new tab page.

Specifically, I'd like to get rid of the firefox logo at the top, and I'd like to increase the number of columns of shortcuts per row from 8 to lets say 14, while decreasing the spacing between each icon by about half.

I've already followed [tutorial] from y'all on how to increase the number of rows, and another tutorial that had me fiddle with the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows setting directly in my about config. I have enough rows I want more columns and less space between them.

Find attached the current state of my new tab page, with my particular shortcuts redacted, and the number of additional shortcuts I could fit on the page without adjusting the gabs between them or resorting to a scroll bar. I'm missing out on at least 44 short cuts due to the default constraints, which I've been unable to find working overrides for. Depending on how cut-throat I get with my thin-margins, I could potentially be missing out on up to 80.

I tried following the near identical instructions from both this stack exchange and this tutorialpedia article, to try and get at the problem by modifying my about page's CSS; but I was unable to change part of the page's appearance. Not even the background or text color.

Is the information in these out-dated (the stack-exchange is 7 years old) or otherwise inaccurate; or is there perhaps a setting in firefox which is interferring with these tutorials' solution method.

I have already tried resetting firefox with extensions disabled to check if any of my extensions are causing the problem to no discernable affect.

I’m using Firefox on an Android tablet in PC mode, paired with a keyboard and mouse. To enhance the desktop experience, I’ve switched the tab view from grid to list. However, I can’t enable full-screen mode for the entire app, something I can do on Firefox Desktop. On YouTube, videos automatically switch to full screen when I enter full-screen mode, but this feature seems missing for the browser itself. Maybe the full-screen option isn’t available in the settings.

Really odd. I tried restarting and it didn't help.

All of a sudden it was double spaced and the icons look different, too. I checked and my font selection is the same: Helvetica.

Currently using android 15, can i hide hide this in firefox's setting? If not, please mozilla, add an option to hide the background behind the bar, it's sucks. I did research and found that it is an app issue and not an OS issue, thanks

I've been using "unload tab" feature in the right click menu a lot, because my device is slow and I like to keep tabs open. (Thank you so much for adding it!) I love that it makes tabs that I unload manually have grey icons, this is super helpful for keeping track of which tabs are processing and which aren't Can you change it or make a setting so that tabs that are not loaded yet (tabs opened by by the "restore tabs when reopening browser" setting for example) are also grey? It would help me keep track of which tabs are loaded and when. In other words, right now it's possible for a tab to have a color icon when it's not loaded, and I want to make that impossible, so I can keep track better.

popped up after an update, not only is it slightly distracting but also annoying as now when i try to pick up or select a tab by putting my mouse at the top of the screen it does nothing, as i select the useless black bar instead

There is a left side hidden toolbar that has history AI etc pictured below. I removed it on another computer by mistake and can't figure out how to get it back. It is on a Windows 11 machine. Thank you for any help.
